Last year was something special and extraordinary from bitcoin, it was more of a bull season, so far during my time in buying and investing in bitcoin, I have come to understand that we’ve bull season and we’ve bear season, but considering that you’re a bitcoin enthusiast that wants to have as many bitcoins in your possession, it’s better you take the opportunity of the bear market and buy more bitcoins, however I think nobody knows when we’re going to have an ATH as what we had last year, so personally I’m just focusing on buying more bitcoins as soon as I have a discretionary income, I haven’t gotten to my over accumulation periods, so it’s best I keep accumulating bitcoin consistently.

There are a few things that I disagree with. The first thing is that even though mostly the cycles go in the same way where we see a bear market which is then followed by a bull run and then the same thing happens in the next cycle as well, but I want to mention that things don't always happen the exact same way, and a prime example of this was this recent bull run where the price of Bitcoin crossed the previous all-time high even before the halving, when generally, the bull run starts after or around the halving and the whole market believes in this thing.

I would also say that Bitcoin is not actually always bullish. When we say that an asset is bullish, we mean it is either going up or is showing patterns that it will mostly likely start going up very soon, but with Bitcoin and this whole market, they get bullish and bearish depending on the period in a cycle and general market conditions. When the prices start going up, people say it's bullish, and when the opposite happens, it becomes bearish.

You are on point, A real investor wishes for bear season to persist for a while, so he is able to accumulate much more quantities at cheaper prices.

Last year was the peak of the bull run, so the prices should not be compared to now. This is why it is very important to have patience, but four years does not automatically means you can’t lose your money. Bitcoin had dropped seriously sometimes like after reaching around $69,000 in 2021 and later in 2022 it dropped below $20,000 more than 70% drop. It went from $126,000 in October 2025 and dropped to around $62,000 roughly 50% in June this year.

So personally the real question is not if can hold for four years, but are we prepared to hold through the ups and downs without panicking?
