ever since we saw that figure the whole market movement started falling and we still have those who are still holding till date, that alone made me to wonder, for how long are we still going to hold even when the market is dropping off more than we expected?

They understand what they are holding, and the drop in the price of Bitcoin is not a reason for them to sell. Holding Bitcoin is a mindset, and you can develop a better mindset based on the understanding you have. If you don't understand the volatility of Bitcoin, holding may seem boring to you. Holding is all about having patience and understanding of the market, knowing that even if the price of Bitcoin drops, it is just for the moment, and a time will come when the price of Bitcoin will also increase.

If you don't understand Bitcoin, you won't be able to hold it for the long term by ignoring volatility. You definitely need to understand what you are investing in based on the possibilities, what its risks are, and how you will manage the investment properly in the long term by ignoring volatility. All these things cannot be ignored, if you don't know about them, the easier it is to hold the investment, the more difficult it will be for you. ~I like your style, same as other start small and with time you become better than when you started. The market is so tricky and hard to understand completely, that is why we use what we see to predict than coming out to say this is what will happen and make people believe it and at the end it turns out bad, so getting to $100k for this year I don't think it will, $77k for now and it seems to be slow, only $90k and above that's what I think we could see before the year runs out, in other words, buying should be on our mind before we start seeing positive figures.

But that's a pretty optimistic prediction, in my opinion. Many called me overoptimistic when I said BTC will be at $80k by the end of the year, when it was hovering around $60k, but even me, however optimistic I was, couldn't think of $90k back then. And now I think you are closer to the truth with your $90k. Just look at BTC now - it's $80k+ already. I think we can expect a new ATH in 2027.

Basically weve seen a good cross with the golden line in the bitcoin price so basically there is a chance we are seeking a bull rally this time but still there is a resistance right there like the 85k price but if ever for me its the price do always increase every after halving so basically we need to take another 2 more years.

We or you? Sorry to tell you this that it's only you or few others that want Bitcoin to pump instantly and that's not how the market works, they can this hold not because it takes weeks or months, HODL comes from the ability to have your coins for years.

Hold is not easy and it's always people who rushed into Bitcoin that always come back to ask this same question that you are asking, how long are you going to keep holding? I doubt you will pass this test of time.

That's right. A lot of such people did a stupid thing with selling below $65k recently. And now they bite their elbows, but this isn't the end of the story. I agree with those saying that we'll see the next ATH soon. By "soon" I mean, in a year or two, and that's where you need that patience. Holding isn't for the weak, that's true.

After every four year cycle, Bitcoin price is able to reach its highest high speed like after the halving cycle of 2024, Bitcoin price touched $126k in October 2025. Just look at the 2020 cycle, Bitcoin price touched an all-time high of $69k in 2021. Every cycle reaches its highest level so to reach the next bull market we must be patient.
After the halving cycle of 2028, Bitcoin price will be able to reach an all-time high in 2029. So at this stage we must invest and participate in Bitcoin.

Personally, i have high hopes for Bitcoin, so i’m adopting a long-term "hold" strategy—at least until the next halving, when i predict its value will reach between $17k and $20k. Of course, i could be wrong, but i’m confident that’s how it will play out.

I also think that the most difficult thing to do to get good results in Bitcoin is to wait patiently. The price will fluctuate, so making decisions based on short-term changes can often be wrong. Many people get disappointed when the price is low for a few days, and when it increases a little, they invest more money in the hope of making more profit. In fact, both of these types of haste can cause problems later. I have seen many people I know invest money that they only need after a few months, as a result, they were forced to sell it when the price was low. Therefore, it is necessary to think in advance not only about how much profit they can make, but also about how long the money can be left without needing it.

Yes, bitcoin price of last year was a juicy one for investors. But  the happiness didn't last for long as we're seeing how bitcoin prices have gone down this year.

The bull market will come and go and so investors don't have to often expect a juicy market always since the 4 years cycles will be fulfilled even though it might not take a whole full cycle. The price of Bitcoin has started going up again and we don't know what we should be expecting before the end of this year. Price can continue to go bull or we can experience and dip again.

Hodl for a decade or two if possible longer.  To gain the target profit, patience is needed.  If you run out of patient and you sold your Bitcoin immaturely, you will only regret your action.  Getting profit in Bitcoin investment is not a sprint, it is a marathon.  The longer you hodl, the possible bigger profit you gain.  If you wanted the shortes possible timeline, then you can wait until after Bitcoin halving, around 2028-2029. Wait for Bitcoin to record another ATH which is observed to happen some months or a year after the halving event.

Looking at last year's performance and rising bitcoin prices, the price of Bitcoin was high this year, but this year the price did not increase. In early 2025, Bitcoin was priced at $93K$ and was at $108K in the month of September, but this year the difference was quite high. We can't know the growing and less bitcoin, so it's just a matter of prediction. Bitcoin was priced by many people this year on the new ATH but it did not happen. Something good can happen for them next year because 6 months of war and other things this year have worked against Bitcoin. We will see a good impact on Bitcoin in the next 2 months because the US itself wants to make efforts to increase the price of Bitcoin, that is, they will end the war and control the oil prices.

Bitcoin can still hit its ATH right now, in the Q4 most assets increase in price and we can not say that bitcoin will not.
