Its time of the year again for our favorite UAAP schools for another season.

As Season 88th ended last year, I bet some of the users here are up for some sports betting on their Alma Mater.

I just hope ArenaPlus supported betting when it opened soon. Btw the Opening Ceremony will be on September 12th while the first game will be the next day until September 30th which will be cut  to give way for some athletes that will participate on Gilas for Asian Games and Fiba World Cup. There's no doubt about that. Arena , Casino and all that plus will surely embrace the UAAP league. Every game is a profit and money runs the business.
I hope Ateneo players will play well even though they faces so much hatred and trouble this summer.

Oh thats great then. Deym I dont wanna miss this drama regarding matches of Ateneo team since they got in a heavy issue regarding the places died during their training session. Some says they should have been ban to during this season but as usual the commisioner of UAAP are from Ateneo and this will pass the penalty unlike AdU, UST and DLSU issue before.

Yeah NCAA will be next too but UAAP games are more famous.

Bumping. Today at 5:00pm the awaited season 89th of the UAAP will start their opening but theres no game but only a program to start the season. Tomorrow September 13th is the first game of the teams and heres the line up of the upcoming games.



I havent checked yet on some sports bet site if the bets are already kicking in but will probably arenaplus and stake and 1xbt might covered these game odds for the following matches.

I did check casino plus, it didn't have the UAAP games yet, but NCAA.

Mapua Cardinals vs JRU Heavy Bombers, game will be tomorrow. ML odds are almost the same.

But I agree that UAAP is somewhat more well known specially on what had happened to Ateneo. Gonna be hard for them to easily get over that issues/drama they had.

Yeah too sad for that but I watched the game via Cignal play earlier it was an awesome games.

1st - ADU vs FEU = winner ADU
2nd - DLSU vs NU = winner DLSU
3rd  - UP vs UST = winner UP

All teams are quite good and it seems many players standout from rookies. Almost all games are crucial matches and vlose tight except with the first game as FEU have dominated in the first three quarter blowing scores up to 20pts lead that eventually gone in the 4th and makes ADU a winner. The other two games are quite close games, but UP finished strong with their Lead player Remogat and the FSA.

Ateneo vs UE is a blowout mate, with 4 minutes to go in the game and the score is 98-65 in favor of Ateneo. This is money in the bag for the Blue Eagles.

Looks like we need to use the local casino on this, Arena plus is open for the UAAP bet. Seems like UP is the one dominating this season. They are ready and taking games dominantly.

Theres no new for the UE, I can still remember BONBON custudio, this  was  the era dominate  the league with 14-0 recorrd aaand automatically took the  final spot with twice  eto beat advantage. But Bonbon sold his s game

Why would we still create a thread for that when there are already serious issues and allegations about game fixing?

I'm sure you have read the thread about Obvious Game Fixing on Philippines MPBL Basketball League before, and probably have posted in that thread as well.

I don't think MPBL deserves another thread here because we might only be promoting a league that already has this kind of issue, and outsiders might fall victim to it. Better to just stick with PBA and this one. There are also rumors about game fixing in other leagues, but at least nothing has been proven yet.

MPBL thread sounds exciting too but i think that would be hard to maintain because of lack of tv coverage on their games plus the fact that there are so many anomalies in this league. Betting-wise, some popular bookies in our country are covering their games unlike UAAP that it is hard to find bookies that covers them.

Also, are there people here who watch MPBL games? I only happen to watched one time when Cebu played near our place but after that no more.

if you look at their venue, you see a lot of people, and i think theres are coverage in TV and even in facebook and youtube datilas can be read here.
That was posted last march this year, so that is legit. Maybe we are just not interested watching it that's why we don't know, but you still remember Romeo, he is already playing with Zamboanga team now.

I also watched PBA bro, but since their on pause for some Asian or world games then theres nothing to watch didnt really a fan of MPBL, but eversince fan of UAAP since I am supporting my alma mater since college days of the UAAP.

Actually I could watched it if cignal play support their live but Im not sure only College games and PBA games.

1. Adamson vs Ateneo = Ateneo wins! The game is quite crucial but at the end Ateneo wins the game. I think Adamson need to execute more on offense earlier they usual routine was catching up to their opponent at the end quarters. While ateneo consistently land every shot.

2. Feu vs UE = The game is one sided as usual. Feu overwhelm the UE with tons of scores. I think the headcoach stepped down for UE and nee one handle the games. But still not been able to have a win.

3.UP vs NU = This is unexpected outcome. Many believed UP will sweep the entire round due to their line up but NU bulldogs prove them wrong and win the game with a good execution.

Well, the bettors should take note of how the lines shift when Gilas players return to their teams because odds shift significantly that is to say, so it's wise to look out for the game day line movements on spreads.

Adamson started slow but Clutch saved the day, with FEU having its first win.
Am seeing the title favorites between UP Maroons and DLSU Green Archers, with NU, UST and Ateneo as final four contenders.

Actually the teams you mentioned are indeed contenders with the final four however its too early to say since the first round of elimination just started and the match up between teams sometimes are really a final conclusion how the game is predicted. Like the games of UP and NU on the recent one, NU beated UP while UP beat DLSU and the Green Archers beat NU. So this is quite a stir for all teams.

Maybe if we finish the first round of all games we can see all matches potential rank.

UE is the new UP . Their losing streak is now at 23 games. What seems to be the problem with this team? I have not watched a game involving UE but i'm planning to watch replays on youtube now. Don't they have a foreign player playing for them?

Head coach Chris Gavina has stepped down as UE head coach and he was replaced by Paolo Hubalde which in my humble opinion won't change anything on the fate of the team abruptly.
