I have posted about it on many of my topics on this board, you can also understand that stop loss is rubbish that is deceiving traders to make wrong decisions.
They will think of stop lose, use high leverage, trade daily or scalping and the more the losses. Do you know the where most traders are fooled by trading? They can trade and be making money almost daily, but a day will come and their coins got liquidated. The stop loss and all what they learned will not save their coins.
I have said it, swing trading and position holding are the safest.

If they trade, they must use either stop loss order or stop limit order but results of their trading and stop loss or stop limit order use will depend on how they calculate their trading entries, and possible exits for taking profit as well as where they will set up their stop loss order or stop limit order. If they did bad things by taking high risk with entry, they will have very narrow price range till the stop loss price, that is stupid trading but it's not fault of either stop loss order or stop limit order. If traders don't use stop loss order, they're stupid and too careless by ignoring risk. The recommendation is don't trade, not only trade less, but don't trade, and use money for investment in bitcoin.

Are you sure? I can see that you are still a beginner in trading. You need to study more about trading strategies and psychology and how traders can achieve profit without using stop loss. I have studied about trading to know that most traders that set stop loss are using leverage. If you want to go for less risky trading which is the best, you will understand how not using stop loss can be the beginning to a patient trading and profitability. No stop loss Trade with 0.2x leverage Trade good coins like bitcoin and ethereum, not those manipulated coins. They use stop loss and leverage only to see their coins on their trading account liquidated. I am posting this from what I know traders are doing, but if you like, do not believe me.

I agree with you, I only use 4-hour candles and with that I only make 1 to 2 trades a month ( Getting 4 trades in a month is very rare for me; in most months it's 2 times.), because the entry point for buying sometimes takes weeks without me seeing it. But I'm happy this way. I don't do day trading; for long-term trading it's better and safer. As for capital, I prefer to only invest an amount that I can afford to lose without setting a stop-loss. In other words, when I buy for the long term, I prefer to be liquidated rather than set a stop-loss, and even when I lose it doesn't harm me, because when I profit, I withdraw the profit. This way, I would have to lose many times consecutively to be at a loss.

Why I am not sure about that. I can see that you are still a beginner in trading.
You can call me anything you want and it won't change my mindset about trading, risk as well as importance of using stop loss order or stop limit order. You need to study more about trading strategies and psychology and how traders can achieve profit without using stop loss.
I have studied about trading to know that most traders that set stop loss are using leverage.
I don't need that but because you are very confident with your knowledge, experience, strategies and skills for trading, while you see no need of using stop loss order, I wish you best of luck. I am not here to teach you about the risk, the importance of stop loss order in protecting your capital, the market will teach you. Your confidence will not save your trading position and trading capital, the market does not care how confident you are.

This poem is very direct and apt. It has explained everything about trading and what many people fail to see and understand about trading which is pushing them to make mistakes and never got to be profitable after many years. The poem is direct but that doesn’t mean it can be easily adapted to and get to reach profitability sooner.
I have seen profitable traders that take only one or two trades in a week and only target 2:1 profit target to loss. They said that, when they were targeting higher risk to reward ratio, they were not as profitable as they’re targeting lesser risk to reward ratio. This explains the poem on the last part that says ‘the less you trade, the more you earn’.

I have said it, swing trading and position holding are the safest.
But are they sufficient to make good profits? I mean considering the risk you take to make such small profits, is it really worth taking the risk? I think if you have the capability to trade and bear losses then why not trade aggressively and test the market? People are making good profits from the market. The only things they need are a proper setup and the ability to read the market. I know some people dont like stop losses but I think they are one of the most important factors in trading. If you are trading aggressively and you dont want to blow up your entire bankroll right? Hence a stop loss is mandatory. The level at which you set it completely depends on you.

The problem is majority of traders only see the money aspect of it. Trading is more deeper than how people see it. It reshapes you entirely and makes you more disciplined. It's fundamentally a decision making and risk management game. Money is just like a reward for making good decisions. If you only concentrate on the reward, you'll be desperate and desperation usually lead to wrong decisions.

The poem is quite insightful and I don't mind where it was discovered, but I do care about the simple lesson it teaches and that's, ' quality over quantity.' The reason why most persons at the first time see trading as a job is because they think that indulging in trading activities on a high frequency will result to having more profit than losses and that's wrong, but it is how experience is gained and Strategy is mastered, that upon a time when patience and understanding of execution is learnt, all that then matters is how to see opportunities, strike at it and attain a great reward.

That poem is true: at first the more you trade, the more you are gaining knowledge and learning from mistakes. Until the same scenario and the chart come, you can avoid or have a different plan to make the old mistake profitable. Until you learn to be patient with fewer mistakes but more profitable than before.
It actually happens, I think, to almost all traders on the first time in a few months. Gaining knowledge and experience until you stick with your strategy and slowly optimize it, you end up become a profitable trader.

The less you trade, The more you earn. Lessons to learn—Successful traders take fewer trades. This is one of the biggest lessons and advice anyone could grant to newbies coming in the market. More trading setups doesn't qualify one to earn gigantic from the market. We all know the market is not a place where we should relent because everything in the market, we need to be cautious and know exactly what brought us here. Secondly the more experienced a trader becomes, the lesser time he or she spends in the market and also on charts because that's downd guarantee one to win big. Moreover, the best way. To trade is simple, analyze the market and trigger both your TP and SL because we know how funny the market can moves and nothing seems to be new again since we've learned the basis of the market, for both profits and losses, we're here and we don't panic at this end. There's a reason why successful and discipline traders are successful, it's not because they trade with emotions or spending too much time on the charts, they just take golden opportunity and know how to execute early entries other than fumbling like emotional traders do and before you know it, FUD and FOMO kicks in making the trader not to think straight.

Why I am not sure about that. I can see that you are still a beginner in trading.
You can call me anything you want and it won't change my mindset about trading, risk as well as importance of using stop loss order or stop limit order. It's a matter of choice in terms of risk managing your trades as a trader and it has nothing to really do with a person being a newbie or a novice trader. And I also wouldn't agree that most traders that trade using SL are mostly due to their use of high leverage hence it's application. I could decide not to monitor my trade as often as possible by applying a stop loss to it just in case my analysis fails I don't get to lose all my balance. I think that's the essence of stop loss, which obviously is a risk management tool in trading.

This is an interesting poem and if you think about it critically their is a lot to learn from it. The more you trade , the more you learn has to do with outcome to lose or to make profit, anything can be the outcome but their is enough lesson to learn when one decides to trade more. One of the things i understand about trading, it is not something one runs into it so quick to make money, trading is something one should go with ease and this has to do with good reasoning. I know trading is unpredicted and nothing guarantee profit but when one goes into it with good reasoning the chances of making profit is always high.

No, I think the majority are buried with the fake life of what influencers show them about trading. The real traders that are making money does not have time to come to in the internet to confide in people what they make. It's the fake traders that comes online to show people they made significant amounts of money and how trading changes their life but trading isn't even like that, there are many losses that you are going to make in trading that will want to make you quit. There is money in trading if you have capital, you also need to know how to trade but in all of this, you are still going to lose trades. I don't know who need to hear this, trading crypto is one of the hardest thing to want to do. Sometimes, I feel they are way to manipulated for technical analysis to work. There are many crypto traders that I used to follow during the bull run, today I can't see one single of them. Some made money and never came online again, some left as the market is hard to make profits on trades when we know that real traders exist only in bear market, most of them run away during bad times.

Well as simple as this may sound many are still struggling to understand it. Though it's not a lack of knowledge, it's not ignorance, nor is it just chasing quick profit it's the market You see the market is very unpredictable. While I consider using demo accounts as a means to minimize your risk i still consider it a disadvantage, especially when your demo trades are becoming more overwhelming than your real account. Basically as time goes on, you wouldn't have the mindset to hold a position to reach your take profit targets, or at least hold it long enough to reach a certain point where your instincts just come in. This type of emotion is caused by a lack of real market experience. So to me when you are used to demo you must simply switch to a real trading account that's if you are very much aware that you are ready That said when you become more precise with the market you tend to trade only when you see a confirmed entry. If you just keep jumping back into the market without making precise decisions, you will only end up giving your profits back to the market. So yep that's all........

The main fact you need to know or follow is that whenever you enter the trading space and take any trade, your first goal should be to "save yourself first" And honestly, if you keep remembering these words throughout your trading journey, then you will put more effort into learning more risk management strategies than chasing making more profits. What i think is that more people jump in the trading space because they live more in an imaginary world, which is also a speculative thought haha, rather than one should stay more in real-time things by considering all possible scenarios and if one also consider this factors then he will prepare for any possible scenario and then this kind of person put its best efforts to follow every risk management strategy to reduce trade risk. Well, this is my point of view on this. CMIIW!

I saw this on a Facebook post from John WickWactcher, and I found it not just poetic but also very realistic with a lesson that can be learned. The more you trade, The more you learn.
The more you earn, The less you trade.
The less you trade, The more you earn. Lessons to learn—Successful traders take fewer trades. Some of the logic in the poem is a bit circular, like the more you earn the less you trade versus the less you trade the more you earn, I'm not sure what's supposed to be the cause and what's supposed to be the effect. However, the last line is different: "Successful traders take fewer trades. This is actually pretty close to reality, one of the biggest reasons that newbies blow up is over-trading (fees, spreads, FOMO, revenge trading, and more). Experienced traders are much more selective, they wait for the good setups rather than jumping into every market movement. Yeah, the poem has a little bit of a paradox going on structurally, but it's really about quality versus quantity, when it comes to trading.
