Learn how to buy and sell because that is a skill that will live through the ages and will never die until the end of the world. If am not wrong, it's the most oldest profession or craft in today's world, so if you can master how to buy and sell, the sky is the beginning point of your limit.

As for other professions like medical and engineering departments, they are also a skill that will never die because those are jobs AI can never replace or don't stands a chance of replacing because they are more technical than the rest.

Well, stocks never die so as other markets as long as there's a demand or investors from it. You know what's dying? People. People who are constantly losing money. If you're good at trading and you're consistently profitable in it then yes you can do it consistently, but what if you don't? You'll run out of money at one point for sure.

Jobs or skills that will never fade away? I'm thinking of something other than those tech-related skills, but I can only think of these jobs right now.
1. Barber shop
2. Lawn Mowing
3. Any healthcare related jobs like those doctors
4. Construction workers

There might be many more, but those are the ones that comes to my mind. Barber shop? Yes, because as long as there are people, there will be many that will cut their hairs. Well it's not forever, but that's a skill that could give you continuous money. Lawn Mowing? We know that there are people out there who don't have the time to mow their surroundings and when there's something that you can't do? There's anybody who can do it. Healthcare-related jobs. Do you want as a human to have a robot as your doctor where they'll be the one that does the surgery for you? If no then you know now why it will not die. Construction workers? I don't see robots building a house, or a building, or any establishment out there. Well, there might be a time, but I believe not in our lifetime.

Yes, trading may never go away, but there are many risks involved in trading and the chances of a person facing losses are much higher than the chances of a person making a profit. If we observe, we can see that most people face losses from trading. If we say in %, we can say that out of 10 people, 9 people fail and 1 person may succeed. Because of this risk, trading is never preferable for me.

But yes, there are some jobs that will be useful in any situation and will not go away, that is agricultural work. Agricultural work will never end and if there is ever a third world war and the whole world gets involved in this war, then even in that situation, a farmer will be able to continue his work.

When you go to the engineering part, a lot of things that engineers usually do are now being done by AI, AI has already taken over the engineering department, you need to go online and do some research by yourself and then you will see that a lot of things that you feel engineers are the ones doing it are actually done by AI.

I would prefer food even if you sell it on a buggy will give you enough outcome. And with the use of social media you can further boost your food business by providing decent deals to the customers. Secondly materials that are needed in construction can have a perfect output but you just need to improve your stuff accordingly to the new designs and construction innovations. Thirdly health care could give you a bountiful profit , if you are well-known to it and you have valid license for buying and selling medicines and other related tools to it. Cloth business can also have benefits if you have knowledge of how to buy and sell because it is the basic need of all humans.

Firstly, the health care professionals they have always been there and will continue to be there even with development in technology, healthcare professionals like doctors, nurses, midwives, surgeons, pharmacists etc will not fade away. They will always be available to carry out  their duties the basic needs of humans health most especially if you're very good and efficient with it.

To be honest, this is the wrong position to try to find some kind of job that will always be irreplaceable. I understand that I want to find one that matches my innate talents and interests. But the fact is that it is always those who are always looking for a trending job who earn the most. Which is needed now and at the same time it's cool if such a person is not afraid to look for the next one after a while.
After all, those who are afraid of new and are able to adapt quickly survive in the labor market. AI masters will become indispensable now, those who know how to vibecode and can write excellent scripts. We all need to remember that learning doesn't end at school. We have to learn and try new things all our lives. This is the only way to succeed.

Well, the truth is that the stock market is not exactly a "skill that never dies" type business, it's a market, and there are plenty of good traders out there that still end up making losses in bad cycles. What survives over time is things that relate to the most basic human needs: food production, health care, plumbing, electricians, construction. Whether the economy or tech gets better or worse, people must always eat, get sick, and repair broken pipes.

Regarding skills in particular, I would say that the trades (welding, plumbing, HVAC) don't seem to be aging as badly as most white collar work, as they're hard to replace with automation and demand actually doesn't fade away. I can risk anything in this life, but what I cannot take or the risk I will refuses to take is to let a machine operate on me, I don't know about you mate, but since we only live once, you don't expect me to let a robot operate me or anyone I hold dear. If you are talking about medical equipment to check about the human body, that would be understandable, but an AI machine operating on a human, that is the risk of gamble I and most people will never take because any mistakes may cause you your life.
If your argument are valid, most hospitals would have resort to it, if they are as perfect or good as humans, as you are saying, so I also agree with futurexxx that AI cannot replace the medical sector perfectly.

There can be innovations in professions, and the environment needs to adapt to these innovations. Artificial intelligence is affecting many sectors, and different job areas can emerge within these sectors. To sustain these areas, employees need to develop themselves. Many companies operate this way, and thanks to this approach, they don't fall behind in innovations.

The human factor will always be present in the workplace, but the innovations brought by artificial intelligence can also change many things.

We must not think that AI won't have any impact on our job or profession because there is hardly any sector of life which is not affected by AI. It will take time before AI will completely take over things and my point of view is that we must take advantage of that time to prepare ourselves to counter the challenges posed by AI. Is there anyone here an HVAC technician?

Not me, but those kinds of jobs pay quite well (at least in my country), kind of like plumbing, auto mechanics, and other careers where you're working with your hands--but that whole question of which jobs AI is going to destroy has me scratching my head on this question.  Everything is getting way more tech-oriented than before, so who's to say that HVAC techs are going to be necessary for decades to come? 

That's a question I have no answer to, not even when it comes to medical professions.  I assume there's always going to be a need for the human touch, but things are changing so rapidly that I'm not confident about any of my opinions, much less 100% certain.  There are also bigger questions, e.g., what happens to all the displaced workers when AI has taken their jobs?  How are they going to support themselves?  Stuff like that gives my brain an icky feeling and makes me want to stop pondering it immediately.

Which I will now do.  Good luck to the young folks just entering the workforce (or trying to).  I mean that sincerely, because the job market isn't what it was even 5-10 years ago.

Actually due to the rapid rise of technology and artificial intelligence, we can see that many professions are at risk but then there are many skills and jobs that will never disappear, such as farming, car repair and electronics work, food business, etc. In fact the first profession I mentioned is the one through which people produce food, so as long as people exist, they will definitely need food, on the other hand, car repair and electronics work is also very important because you notice that even though technology develops, man-made machinery or vehicles are never free from defects, so this profession will also not disappear easily.

Another thing is that the food business will not stop even if there is an economic recession or global crisis in any country, this business will not stop because it is an unchanging basic need, the proof of which is that many people will not stop buying food even if they stop buying technology, so if someone is in this profession, I think he can rest assured that in fact from this type of profession, they will be able to create a source of income and create their own wealth.

Perhaps you don't understand what @ futurexxx is actually trying to say, what he was trying to say is that AI can't replace medical and engineering jobs completely. Rather they can only reduce the rate of employment in that field. However, one thing I believe is that no matter the widespread of AI, there will still be employment because AI can not function by itself,  they need someone who would give them direction especially in this medical and engineering field.
