I guess the news about the CFTC regulations triggered a massive inflow. ETF people started buying right before the market opening, as Bitcoin rallied just before US markets started.
Probably Tradfi players still need some time to read the news!

This and also big Hedgefonds trying to get out of state bonds and looking for more inflation-resistant assets. Such as obviously gold (and some silver, even though the market is small in comparison) and most obviously some Bitcoin.
Even though there may be some rough times in general for all markets ahead, currently Bitcoin has a good chance to be seen as great hedge against bonds and the regular stock market which will most likely suffer heavy losses due to the extreme oil prices.

Not sure about that. Gold performance has been relatively poor after the FED, while Bitcoin (and other alts such as SOL, for example) massively rallied after that.
Not sure if it is a complete rotation, but Bitcoin dominance rising and a few RWA-related coins rally massively, makes me think the clarity act has been brought back to the live by the SEC and CFTC.

We should be excited in the recent increase of the price of Bitcoin, there is nothing that should surprised you here, am already aware how the price has been seriously declining in price and some people thought it won't increase again but surprisely it did a massive increase from the month of August to this month, although it has been up and down now.

If you are a long time Bitcoin investor you shouldn't be distracted by the speculation of the price of Bitcoin know that the price won't stop increasing in a long run, we have seen $100k previously and we are going to see more than that in time coming so focus more on stacking up more Bitcoin and hold for long.
Market sentiments aer positive and investors are also having good positions to keep momentum on good just because of this now its keep staying on good price in September while coming months are also looking good for investors having confidence its helping bitcoin to stay on good level volatility is always stays because its also part of Bitcoin life peoples are expecting good increase hopefully price will be touch $82K again and October will be good.
Long term investor never worried about movement because they always understand how things are working and market is having good movement this will keep things on balance and price will be also stay on good now those are having enough souces they are just accumulation for long term profit.

And yet we are still arguing about what could be the reason for the price to reach $82k, Lol.

But if you look at the current movement, we are just about $81,200 so that is close enough. So by now what could it be? Could it be because of the Spot Bitcoin ETF as it flows billions, compare to the net negative prior to Sept 18?s

Or the market is now matured, as we are not affected by the negative news about Clarity Act or FED raising the rates?

There are so many reasons why Bitcoin triggered the buy to $82k(almost there). First and foremost, Bitcoin price is undervalued . If all the factors making it undervalued cannot further keep it low, it would definitely go up. This is similar to Gold and Silver assets. Secondly, most traders are looking for opportunities to enter the market . With all indications pointing to buy Bitcoin, you don't expect them to sell, do u? Even the GREED TO FEAR INDEX shows people are greedy now and would HODL BITCOIN. (71 GREED!!!)

As long as there is still speculation, no matter how mature Bitcoin gets, macro and political news or government policies toward crypto industry are still gonna have a big impact on the market.

Market movement depends on money flow and investor sentiment, and unfortunately these things can be affected by news pretty easily.

The thing is its hard to know exactly what caused a certain market move, because there are always many factor affecting it at the same time.

Pardon me if there is anything I am actually missing, for the past few days I haven't been around as clerical job kept me on the go. Please I am open to also read those information that happened to push Bitcoin across the hand of 80k.
Sometimes, the normal buys and sell that we are used to can be responsible for a bull like this but because we are looking for a big news to cause this, we might not even notice it. Bitcoin going high after a time of relative stabillity is not new to us and most times, while investors might be looking out for an obvious event that is capable of leading to this kind of surge, then boom, we see a sudden and likely unexpected bull. the primary cause of every bull is when there is more buys and that is likely what has caused this.

I believe that we're going to focus on a specific news event too much. One of the reasons to price moves is because of the balance between buyers and sellers, while news can be a catalyst. A relatively small increase in demand could have had more effect after breaking resistance levels if BTC had been consolidating for a long time around $60k-$70k. That's why it's a bad sign when you're trying to find one particular headline after the move. The better way to view it would be to examine flows and open interest in the ETFs at the same time and determine if there was real demand or mostly leverage trading.

In September, many thought that the Bitcoin market would slowly start to decline and that it would remain in a recession. But what we are seeing now is the change in the Bitcoin market and the Bitcoin market has touched almost $82k in two days. The way the Bitcoin market is looking positive right now, it seems that there is a green candle signal in the market and there is a possibility of further growth in the market. Although the situation in the market is very good at the moment, I think it will not last long and may move downwards again. The market may fluctuate between $76k and $80k by September and if it looks a little more positive, the price will change slightly. However, we can hope that the market may not go to the low position it was in before, but it will continue to move forward slowly. Most investors expect that the Bitcoin market has the highest chance of exceeding $100k+ by the end of this year.

The price of Bitcoin increases completely depending on the demand of investors in the market, the price increases, this is the main thing. Many of us thought that the price of Bitcoin would not remain stable or would gradually decrease, but as time goes by, the price of Bitcoin is gradually increasing, so I expect that the price of Bitcoin will increase to a maximum of $86,000 or $87,000 in September, after which the price of Bitcoin will decrease again and will be below $80,000. Many people think that by the end of this year, the price of Bitcoin will be above $100,000, with the change of time, the price of Bitcoin will be at an all-time high, but I am not sure whether the price of Bitcoin will be able to surpass $100,000 by the end of the year.

The thing is whenever there's a pump in price of BTC, we try so much to tag a news to it even when the market doesn't really work that way.

This thread was created when BTC peaked $82k within the first 3 days of the month before it dropped to $75k within the last one week but currently, BTC is @$81k, so should we still look for a the news that'll explain that move?

We need to understand that sometimes, BTC price movement is just a balance between buyers and sellers changing as sentiment and market conditions change.
The price is very good so far, but that's because institutional investment has come in. ETFs are the ones bringing the good news; many positions have been liquidated, and this has been due to investment and confidence.

But we shouldn't get complacent, and let's say this is the rally and it's finally happening. There are still more things to see if this is definitively what could make the big leap to $100k, and that's what excites many of us: reaching that price again.
