I've only played Keno once. However, I have formed my own opinion about the game's logic and mechanics. 🙋

Choosing the number of spots you pick doesn't affect a player's chances of winning. However, it does allow them to adjust their risk tolerance. The more numbers, the higher the risk. And as always, the higher the risk, the higher the potential winnings (profit).💁

Changing the seed doesn't affect a player's chances of winning. It's simply an illusion. For many players, this illusion is very valuable, as people like to be in control of their life situations, and changing the seed gives them (false) confidence that they haven't lost control of the game.

As for streamers, in my opinion, they can't be trusted. They don't show their viewers everything that happens during a game of chance.

Well when it comes to Keno, to me I think it's all based on what style you pick and how well it actually fits with your budget, and perhaps sticking to it would be much better than chasing after losses. basically Low picks like 3 to 5 usually mean smaller ups and downs which can help your money last longer, while higher picks like 8 to 10, are good if you are looking for bigger wins but they are likely going to be way much riskier compared to the 3 to 5....

That said At the end of the day, it all comes down to how prepared you are for the losses and also your goals in playing because that's what determines your resilience ..That's all......

My experience and as far as I know the choice of numbers can indeed influence your chances of winning, that's for sure, For example, if you choose the same number as someone else, your winnings will automatically be shared.

For this reason, try to choose numbers that people rarely choose. However, you also have to know the rules of the Keno lottery that you are playing. If you don't understand the rules, you are afraid that your payout will be different later.

No, Keno pick count actually does nothing.  In Keno, each time the game starts, there is always a fresh batch of numbers.  Those numbers that were picked in the previous round are still in the new game to get drawn.  So basically it is a fresh start each round.

Keno is my fav. game, but still.. 1% skill 99% luck

Thing is that people think in patterns and that leads to them forming false conclusions that this game if played like this will lead to profit, that changing the seed makes the system "forget" the outcomes of the previous bets and so on.

I hope players here understand why seeds are allowed to be changed - so that one can obtain the server seed for the previous set of games in order to verify them, nonce and client being already provided to them.

Apart from that even on games like mines where people click on multiple points and then just roll and roll till they hit something big, keno is similar.

As you said, there is no control, and therefore there is no better or worse strategy, neither in terms of number selection and in terms of seed change. There are people who will try to convince you otherwise according to their own interests, but it's all a lie, let's say that your luck is reset with each new game regardless of what you do.

It's a good game if you simply want to make the minimum of decisions and not think, and as other members commented, even playing in automatic or blindfolded mode won't change the result. The game can be fun and therefore I do not criticise it, but it is important to be aware of this.

For me yeah, pick count is more about how much risk you want, not like it suddenly make you win more.

Seed change I also think is mostly illusion of control, same with those streamers only clipping the big hit after they change seed. Keno for me still luck + house edge, I just play it with extra money if I play at all. Just go with small here if you are not really confident, because on my own experience, this game is really not for me

To be honest, I don't understand why there are people who unironically follow gambling streamers who blatantly edit their sessions in order to make it appear as if they were constantly winning in the long term, with little to no losses in the short term.
I thought the whole point of watching those streamers were to feel identified with their losses and his winnings. I cannot feel identified with someone who only wins and wins unrealistically during their gambling sessions, seemingly defeating the edge of the house.
