Protecting Your Life, Not Just Your Crypto

Along with the security of your assts, you need to consider your own security. If you do not take proper security of yours assts, your assets will be stolen and if you do not take your own security, your life will be threatened. A person must give equal importance to both. In some cases, there are names on social media who are very enthusiastic about crypto or use the name of a particular crypto. Some may even claim to be large holders. This is a threat to their own assets as well as to themselves. A person who is using crypto or Bitcoin must stop telling others about himself, otherwise he can be attacked at any time. It is not difficult to find out the identity of a person from social media, fraudsters must know these things. So, you have to take care of your own security yourself.

I don't know if I will say that's traders that love to show off their bitcoin but I wouldn't be surprised if a new investor is showing off just to be proud of himself. One thing with riches is that you keep it secret if not, you will be attacked because you don't know who is your enemy. I find it difficult to tell people I'm a bitcoin investor.

Everyone is not the same, some persons do not understand that anything that has to do with Bitcoin investment has to be secret, there are things that most of us that are opportune be here has learned overtime, we know of privavy which which Bitcoin represents, some investors out there may not have good knowledge all that, some see their Bitcoin hodling as something to brag with, not knowing that they indirectly putting themselves in danger.
An investors Bitcoin hodlings should be confidential, exposing it, knowingly or ignorantly may have severe and regrettable consequences.

You aren't far from the truth.  Is not everyone that understood it should be something confidential, because their are some of them close to me that normally show off.

Maybe bitter experience will make them understand that what they're doing is actually not the best way to deal with Bitcoin.

To keep our holdings private is actually the best way to live long especially in this our current world that criminals aren't smiling.

It's even about the name sef, it's about the amount of information someone can gather over someone just by searching the internet about the person. When you reveal too much of yourself online, you risk exposing sensitive details about yourself to the public and one day, you will pay dearly for it. I always advise people to reduce the amount of information they post about themselves online. Someone will just wake up and post about their new cars and house they bought. Even revealing the address to such houses.

​Folks often resort to violence due to money issues because they aren't reasonable, and along the line either someone gets severely injured or dies. At the end of the day life goes on. While in this space it's different but also similar ,people often endanger themselves because they're not wise especially newbies who get excited at the beginning of their journey. Like for example, tell me why someone would choose for people to call him something like BTC Boy, or something that adds BTC to their name or even FX/ Forex trader? Does it even make any sense. whether he or she isn't an investor or is an investor / trader I see no reason for such. Is it a symbol of respect ?, or are you placing yourself as a target for physical attacks ? Even if you are just playing there are some things you don't play with because any one can take it seriously that includes bad people.

I don't know how people become so comfortable that they like to show off their wealth for people to respect them or see them as one of the big boys in town but those kind of lifestyle doesn't entice me because we live in a world where privacy is very necessary for anyone who values their life and also the security of their assets. The mentality of people in Nigeria who are not into cryptocurrency is that those people that are dealing in bitcoin are rich so calling yourself crypto boy or BTC boy is just a way to tell people with bad motives to locate you and rob you or harm you. What is the essence of trying to create an awareness that you are a crypto enthusiast when information like that can lead you to problem. Even if you're not targeted by criminals, the security operatives can investigate you to know if you're actually into cryptocurrency or you are using it to cover up illegal business dealings. I don't blame those who boast about themselves owning a large amount of cryptos because some of them are unaware of the dangers of doing so.

Glad that you mentioned newbies, because they are the ones that normally behave like this. Why is it that people who are not even benefiting much always show off more than rich people? Because I don't think any responsible investor who knows what Bitcoin investment is would expose himself in public.

Without being told, we're meant to keep our investments very secure, because there are many people who are not happy with you. So let's help ourselves, do the needful things, and stay safe with our investments.

Staying anonymous is better than trying to show wealth online where there can be people that will be looking for how to take advantage by any means possible. Every crypto holders need to protect themselves from showing off their crypto balance so that the police or law enforcement will not be asking various questions about how the money was gotten. People that are business minded have their ways of showing off maybe through their cars, mansion or luxury instead of showing money or Bitcoin balance online.

The risk exposure may not be just about you but extending to your family members as they can be kidnapped for ransom since you have exposed your financial status so you will capable of affording a ransom for a kidnapped loved one.

Being secretive is a lifestyle hack that a lot of people in this generation are deficient of, they want to always show off and feel relevant. While you hustle secretively why not let your success remain private with just you alone and enjoy your life and freedom.

A lot of people just wants to be seen as the cryptocurrency big shot in their neighborhood, they want to be known to be the most progressive and as such, they flaunt themselves about in the faces of everyone, just to leave that impression, wants to know too much and so they say too much.

These little irrelevances could have a significant effect on you as an individual or even the family. You might be way too conscious about your movements and where about but, could you say the same for the rest of your family members?

With the vague idea most persons have about cryptocurrency or Bitcoin, it’s very ideal to keep things in this space private and be more reserved.
