According to Coinmarketcap's charts, the coin has reached 222$ (with a market cap of 77B  ) before crashing to 1.20$ in the span of a couple of hours.

I think gambling token is the most appropriate words that should be used for meme coins. That crash is expected. It may later still go up during heavy bull run, but a little and no all-time high before it will crash again.

All i can say if Laptop is a well organized scam token. There are some evidences why this is a well organized scam tokens.

1. 25% tax for Sniper. People this token already expected there would be so many sniper to hunt their token. So they put 25% tax for any sniper who bought their token early.

2. The laptop team airdrop 4k - 5k tokens to the any subscribes on Hunter Biden's substack (8% supply in total), which i believe it's already gamed.
 


As i know there was a huge surge in the total subscribers of Hunter Biden's substack before the screenshoot happened, which i believe it's the team itself.

3. Some people who bought it early claimed they unable to sold their tokens.

4. They paid top tier MM to launch their token in high FDV to sucking the liquidity by people who got FOMO.

Based on all of the things above, Hunter Biden is already organized his token to be a scam token very well. So many accusations come to him now, but i believe he doesn't give the f about it.

Other than that i also doubt people are learning the lesson because they will still bet to find a token that can let them to be a millionaire over night.

This is an awful lookign chart for LAPTOP. Imagine almost hit $300+ down to $2 per tokens. Ive seen a lot of heavy hitters here some are really huge down portfolio.

This trader spent $250k and now turns $30k worth of LAPTOP! First two bought was really high price and it seems his doing some DCA for this with a couple of $$.

This just goes to show that good marketing—or a creator who is highly popular or influential in politics and business—can turn a nonsensical meme coin into an asset with a massive market cap. It’s strange, too: Hunter Biden criticized the Trump family for their involvement in the cryptocurrency market, yet what he’s doing now is no different from what Trump did. I wonder how much money Hunter Biden made from this meme coin. Does anyone know how much he profited from it?

Based on what I read in the article, Biden holds 300 million tokens; according to the piece, these tokens will be locked for six months, and only after that period will they be released on a monthly basis over the course of 24 months—though the article doesn't specify exactly how many tokens will be released each month. I also didn't understand the part about the 2% reserved for people who lost money on the Trump campaign; how will they know who lost money and who didn't?  They’re dragging political disputes into the crypto space and profiting from it.

Who knows if it still going to continue falling? If anyone want to buy the coin, the person can use small amount of money to buy it and it is better to wait until other exchanges listed it. It is very possible that the coin price will increase later during the bull run. But what I noticed about token like this is that, it is not going to all-time high again and it will probably fall more in the next bear market after 2029 or even if bitcoin price do not fall during the time. So not for holding at all.

Nope, that's still a no for some of them. They will never learn and will completely follow still these personalities where they think money is going. But the majority of them will definitely learn the lesson that it shouldn't be a strategy to follow these guys and whatever they launch. And even if those "investors" wouldn't replace that same exact mistake later on, they will find out new ways to screw themselves in crypto as they are looking to get rich overnight.

I mean we here are intelligent people so I don't expect that somebody here invested their money on this shitty meme coin and lost their money. 30% founders, 5% foundation treasury, and 10% liquidity allocation for a token that has reached $300 billion fully diluted valuation at its peak and saying he hasn't made single dollar is funny. The collapse in the price of this token is similar to that of other memecoins, where we can see that so many tokens have fallen far from their all-time highs. The $Laptop token is currently trading around $0.6. And this indicates that the token has fallen more than 600 times from its all-time high. Or even if we look at its price following yesterday’s crash then we can see that the token’s price situation is already dire. I personally believe that tokens without clear utility such as this one are indeed highly vulnerable to extreme price volatility. And that’s why many people consider trading memecoins to be similar to gambling. Or even tokens with utility can be disastrous for those who lose money let alone a token or even memecoin that has absolutely no utility whatsoever. Such tokens are nothing more than a terrifying den of crocodiles ready to pounce on their prey.

Maybe there is another word to call this retard situation of profit chasing, this is not gambling, this is scam because why use your influenced to make people buy what they are not supposed to buy. People are actually greedy, or is this gambling? This risk is too much considering the fact that there is no solid evidence that the project is legit, pumping such amount of money is very risky; although, if the trader has made profit instead, it would have been a massive profit I must say because he actually took a great risk here.

Meme coins are now gambling, with this level of pump and dump happening, there is no more hope in meme coins unless if you are trading them as a degen trader and it has been working for you, but I can’t bear this risk because it is pure gambling, and this project $LAPTOP seems to be scam.

Agree that Gambling is the word. Again, if you go in early, don't be overly-greedy. Take profit when it rises 10%, 20%, etc. Take it on the way up, and you should be fine.

Easier said than done, because you need to be at keys to do all of those.

Those who're after meme coins don't really know that meme coins = fixed coins where the developer and insiders take profit while the investors lose their money. Everyone should learn a lesson that going after meme coins is no less than throwing your money at fire in hope of getting 10x to 100x returns but in real you'll lose what you already have. So I suggest everyone to stay away from meme coins and go for Bitcoin or for alt coins that have been in the market for sometime.

99% lose rate and I wouldn't call it gambling, I will call it a rug token because 99% odd of losing and it is basically a losing game and it's worse than zero sum game because the money in their market also going to creator fees and high fee LP pool which is sitting around 5% to as high as 15% per trade and sometime there's creator tax too. LPing on the Robinhood chain taught me that 95% are losing from meme coins and 5% profitable ones are insiders who bundled the token. The only thing keeping the retailers to gamble on meme coin are those stories about somebody flipping $3k to $1m and even that was insider.

From that he should stop already but instead he dca more with a lower price. With that kind of trend of memecoin with a lot make a negative noise I wont add some more damages to my fund.

Anyway if his a whale maybe that money is nothing for him.
