I was surfing the forum yesterday and I saw a lot of online casinos that's been promoted on here and they are not even working anymore or no one is talking about them, too many that I don't even know about.

They are no longer promoting their brands here doesn't mean that they're no longer operating. Did you try to know why they left the forum. Some of them ended up as scammers and some decided to run their promotion somewhere else.

We have seen many of these casinos come here promote their brand and leave based on their own different reasons. If you have the funds and build a good reputation for your business, you will make good profit because there's a lot of money in the gambling industry than any other business.

The answer to this question is very simple, advertisement is one of the key factors that promotes a business or lures people to start using the casino platform, it's just like the online sports betting eg, sporty bets, bet9ja etc, they have to make a lot of advertisement online to make people troop into their platforms and use it, so mostimes that a once promoted casinos fails to function that could be one of the causes of it or it also means they might not have enough funds to run it probably and it will just be dormant without anybody using it to stake.

In my opinion, just because the industry is highly profitable doesn’t mean that every individual online casino will automatically be profitable. In fact, competition is so intense these days that a new casino has to spend a lot of money before it can even build a regular player base.
On top of that, an operator has a lot of ongoing expenses: licensing, game providers, payment systems, employees, customer support, security, and marketing. Then you also have fraud, multi-accounting, bonus abuse, chargebacks, and problems with payment providers.

And finally, poor bankroll management can also destroy a casino. Just because the casino has a mathematical edge in the long run doesn’t mean it can’t face a series of large player wins over a short period of time.

Most of the casinos that were very active here and left might actually be working very fine but I feel that they do have reduced traffics compared to when they were here. Apart from those of them that exited due to them being scam platforms, some of the casinos that left still come back in another form either through signature campaign, contest, or even sponsorship of events to remain known among players who are in large number in the form. There is no way to deny that this place give lots of them visibility which justifies the amount of money some of them spend to run marketing in this forum.

it's an interesting question, because in the same time, there are always new casinos that are popping out from nowhere!

It's the same as with any offline business. Some win, some lose. Not enough money, problems with programmers, a dull interface, bad promotion, or just stealing gamblers' money.
If you have enough time, you can pick a thread and analyze it: how much they spent at the start, what bonuses they gave to players, how things changed, how often the casino rep posted at the beginning and at the end of the thread.
But honestly, analyzing how people lose isn't very interesting to me.

I think it's because they are no longer focused on their service and don't want to do promotions or improve their service, and they let more of their users move to other platforms that offer more promotions and rewards for new users.
