In this world we are living, nothing is impossible (much especially in the Bitcoin/crypto world) as we know how volatile they are. It has something to do with their decentralized and low-supply model. Then there are also plenty of factors or events around the planet that affects their price.

Volatility is just part of financial markets and its affected by all kind of thing, from macroeconomics to market dynamics. But I don't think it has to do with whether an asset is decentralized or centralized, or how its supply is.

As we've seen, even centralized asset with a huge supply can still move pretty hard when the market goes through major changes.

I’m fully convinced now that there’s a possibility that we may have not seen the bear market bottom this year yet because bitcoin is very unpredictable and just as it’s always been said, there are so many factors which affects this price movement which we don’t even know most of them, so anything is possible before the year ends.

As long as we are not out of this bearish condition we have yet, then I think yeah that that we don't have that bottom yet. But we already identified most factors that affect Bitcoin's value. If I can give a couple of them, they can be >; political, innovation about technology, wars, change in government policy or bank, change on business or companies, and most importantly is change about the finance market e.g. assets, commodities, forex, etc..

But I agree with your point. As long as the bear market isnt over yet, we shouldnt be too quick to rule out the possibility that Bitcoin has already hit the bottom.

Bitcoin is part of the global financial market and economy. So pretty much anything that affects global finance can also have an impact on Bitcoin.

I don’t really expect bitcoin price to drop lower than $58k which it’s went previous. Bitcoin price pumped a little bit few weeks ago, and the price have been able to stay within a particular price range for days now, I think bitcoin might just continue increasing from the point which we are currently. Actually nobody knows how high or low bitcoin price is going to go, and bitcoin can take any direction at any moment, so it’s just difficult to predict the next step bitcoin is going to take.

I was a bit surprised by the increase in the price of Bitcoin in August and I believe this happened to all investors. But I see it as normal because Bitcoin is volatile. Now no possibility can be ruled out because it is not possible to say anything exactly about Bitcoin. So it is not surprising if the price does not fall. However, I believe that the price will fall again and a new bottom can be set.

Someone above said and I will also say that keep buying with DCA strategy. But if the price drops a lot then buying with a larger amount of money, this may be the best strategy.

Those who buy with large amount of money when there is dip has already taken advantage of the market while others will be panicking for the dip they are heavily buying bitcoin, how ever bitcoin stands to be unpredictable, many were surprise when the price of bitcoin was gradually increasing during august but this shouldn't be what they should have be surprised about unless we forgot that bitcoin is volatile which can increase and dip at any time, we can't really be sure about what we say about bitcoin all people do is just to speculate about the price of bitcoin.

The more we stay above $70,000 the lesser the chances of Bitcoin going below the $58,000. In short, there's a chance that that's already the bottom of this year's bear market already.

1 leg lower? Probably, but not be lower than $58,000 anymore. Probably around $60,000 is my lowest prediction, but right now, it seems like Bitcoin's moving sideways this whole month... or at least in the first half because Bitcoin is just down -1.3% month-to-date. I'm still predicting that we will be having a green September, and October will be the end of the bear market, and looking at the timeframe, it seems like there isn't enough time for Bitcoin to go from it's current price to below $58,000, so that might already the bottom.

There's a big IF though. If there will be catalysts that will push Bitcoin down then we might see a new bottom still. I said "catalysts" because 1 isn't enough right now, and I can't even think of anything TBH. The US-Iran war updates doesn't have that much effect on the market anymore unlike it was a few months ago.

That's one advantage of having a deeper pockets whether you are a retail investors or institutions. As they can scoop a lot when the price did go down and they can just hold into it or continue to buy. Nevertheless, it won't discourage use small and average joe investors.

We can still go and buy at our own phase, it might take some time for us to accumulate, but in the end if we are going to be a long term investor, then nothing can stop us from investing in a very show and deliberate phase.

I am beginning to sense exhaustion in the market and if that continues,  it takes just one negative news to send price of Bitcoin down south. This is not something I would want to see but in market speculation, we have to consider all possibilities to know the right action to take when market begin to respond.  Despite this, it is still logical that price will continue the prevailing uptrend even till the end of this quarter and beyond.

So you can speculate anything you have in mind, but Bitcoin is never dropping back $20k as you are speculating..

We hope the bottom already happened so we can expect the price will stay on the current price or higher. But no one know what exactly happens later and that makes more people speculating about what might happens. If you just listen them without research, you may trigger to panic and difficult to thinks clear what you can do the right. The price back to $76k after reach $75k but no guarantee that will go higher so we should be ready for the worst.

If we talk about Bitcoin, I don't think that the rejection of Clarity Act might have a impact on us. On the contrary, I think it will be better for us to finally see that it won't get approved by the US. At least everything will settle down already instead of just waiting for it and see how the market will react.

So we will be just fine with it. But as we get closer to the end of the year and not seeing the price going into lower lows, then maybe we might have seen the bottom price of the version of this bear cycle.

I think we have already passed the lowest point of Bitcoin price in this cycle. Bitcoin price has been above $75,000 for the last two weeks and is currently at $76,000. The price touched $79,000. I think even if the price corrects after the increase, Bitcoin will not fall below $70,000.
Yes, I still consider $70,000 as a support zone. And if the price increases a little more and crosses $90,000, then $85,000 will be the support zone and I think Bitcoin price will remain at this position until the next bull market.

Something like this could happen, I am not sure and I am not hoping for such a downward trend. There are only 14 days left until the end of September. If it drops to the 70 thousand level this month, then we can see it at 65k. But if that doesn't happen, then the lower limit of the 70k drop will be. In my opinion, between $44,000 and $45,000 is the estimated bottom for Bitcoin’s price, and it’s still very likely we’ll reach that level. The market hasn’t really moved back toward $85,000 yet, given that the $80,000 level remains too difficult to reach—even though the current price isn’t that far from $80,000.

We will know very soon if it was the bottom in the next month or two.

Yup, we're clearly still in a bear market, and it isn't over yet. Just because we had a bullish move and the price reached the level we were hoping for doesn't mean Bitcoin is out of the bear market. That alone isn't enough to say the bear market is over.

Have you guys considered the possibility that the Fed could raise rates one more time before the end of the year? If that happens, the pressure on speculative assets like Bitcoin could be pretty big. So I think it's still way too early to say we've already seen the bottom of this bear cycle.

Bitcoin has been unpredictable right from time so the unpredictable part of bitcoin didn't just start new, and from way back till now bitcoin price hasn't just be going to one direction but moves up and down, those who still doubt bitcoin will regret why they didn't invest just as people who also doubted on bitcoin then are also regretting it now.

The volatility part of bitcoin isn't what should discouraged people not to invest in bitcoin, provided you have your discretionary income just invest by buying with the dca strategy because i believe bitcoin will hit another ATH maybe this year or next year.
