Well, police matter no really dey bother me sha. Ive been in many situations with them, but I normally know how to handle it. As for the Second Space feature, Ive been using it for a long time and it works very well on my phone. I think it’s actually an underrated feature when it comes to phone privacy. If you really dont want to deal with unnecessary police stress, you can create a Second Space and keep your crypto stuff there, with only you knowing the password to access it. That way, if they ask you to open your phone, you can just open the space that doesnt have anything that could complicate things for you.

Although we know very well that the police should not just have access to our phones without proper legal grounds, we all have rights, but many people fail to exercise them. I think that is part of the problem we have in Nigeria.

Yes, that is exactly what I meant.

I can not give my phone to any police for search but even the phone that I go out with do not not have my wallet or exchange or anything that has to do with cryptocurrencies on it. There have been different things that can happen and the worst would be someone to attack someone physically and forcing the person to transfer crypto on the phone. We have seen it happened before but it is very good to also have privacy because they person might be a target know from somewhere that he owns crypto.

Nigeria is now so bad to an extent that we need to have a device for outdoors and one to use at home. I will take any of my devices where i want, under no circumstance will you give access to any police or personnel to search your phone. I have had different encounters with them, i have never once allowed them to go through my phone, IGP already mentioned that no officer has the right to go through your phone.

Whatever amount of crypto is in my wallet can be accounted for, so bad that we are afraid of people supposed to maintain law and order.

Yeah! If possible. Just for safety reasons because there are people who got attacked in different occasions and as rumors has it that  they were asked to unlock their phones, and I'm sure they didn't expect it or even thought about such thing happening to them. So we can't be too sure that nothing will happen. Personally I have different phones, I tend to go out with the one I know that it does not contain a lot of informations or documents inside, while the other of my phone that literally hold all the important documents will be kept at home for safety reasons.

So it's best to always look corporate, have a clean shave, speak calmly while you exercise your rights of asking to see a superior officer, asking for their names and identity, but if this isn't working out, please try not to act nervous or open your phone to attempt to start deleting some items on it,  try to de-escalate the situation by even offering to give them money, and most importantly, always carry cash when you are traveling far, carry a spare phone device or use spy camera glasses that records the activity of these police officers.

Lastly, no go keep screenshot or picture of transactions for your photo gallery or leave email notifications of transactions on your phone, delete them or hide them completely.

The amount of sensitive information we carry around can be reduce with the help of using separate phone but also this shouldn’t be only the security measure. If you are being know alrady by people that you own a significant amount of BTC having that clean phone might not prevent you from becoming a target.

From the first place what will save you from all this risk, is by making sure you keep your wallet safe and secured, avoid unnecessary public information most especially about your holdings and making sure people don’t connect your identity with your BTC.

There are different types of calculator App for hiding Apps, i believe you do not download the one i talked about that is why it is not working properly for you, i was facing the same with the one i downloaded initially it was when my brother who introduced me to the App and told me the one to download which i downloaded the one that is working perfectly for me. Nigerians knows that police men does not have the right to search some one phone, but if you are trying to refuse them to search your phone you mighty regret your decision later. No be police or any security personal right to search our phone but we dey stay for corrupt country wher dey no dey value citizens rights. Even me I go suggest if we get any other way to keep our crypto safe for house e go better, because bad people full dis our uniform. It's not advisable to move around with important documents and even items that hold much value. Don't you see the way wealthy people move around with police escorts? Do you think they don't know what they are doing? They've known that the rich are always targets for even law enforcement agencies so they protect themselves at all cost.
