First of all what kind of wallet did you "save" your Bitcoins in? Do you mind sharing the name of the wallets software or website?
A lot of things can happen... from hacker stealing your login credentials to your seed phrase getting compromised. Other times it can just be a mere network syncing problem. Please share more details so we can ascertain what happened.

You can't conclude yet whether you got scammed or not until you give further clarification about how the whole thing happened: did someone set up the wallet for you, or did you do it yourself? What type of wallet are you using? There is nothing to show that your coins shouldn't be in your wallet, as long as you can avoid anything that can lead to a loss of privacy or a third party having access to your private keys or wallet control.

You need to know which address or addresses in your wallet had bitcoin before because in one wallet, there are many addresses. Then you can copy and paste those address to Arkham site for having their on chain tracking data.

Arkham site is better than traditional Bitcoin block explorers because it do more analysis, links addresses together, and can give you labels of where your bitcoins were sent to by scammers or hackers.

First check the transactions history of your wallet, it will shows if your bitcoin have left your wallet or not, and you have to check the wallet you store your bitcoin with, if you have mistaken it to another wallet, if it's a wallet that have seed phrase, it will not be easy for your bitcoin to leave your wallet without you exposing your seed phrase to others, You can't get scammed if you did not given out your seed phrase or invest in ponzi scheme, think well.

You woke up and didn't see your bitcoin in your wallet, how is that possible? Did you do anything that may affect your wallet or make you get scammed? Because I have never seen anyone have bitcoin in his wallet and then not see it again, no one can confirm whether you were scammed or not, but you should calm down and check your wallet thoroughly, or if you don't understand it, you can ask more questions about it so that you can be guided to check properly and see if you were scammed or not, because the way you speak is somehow confusing.

Look if you store your Bitcoin in a regular wallet it is more likely to be hacked, so you should clearly state exactly where and in which wallet you stored your Bitcoin?

You have to give a clear explanation more about the wallet you using, how and where you stored your wallet  keys and apart from you does any family members or friend have an idea about your bitcoin?

Like you clearly accepted it that you're an amateur in crypto, so think well if you haven't made a costly mistake somewhere. Bitcoin doesn't just disappear from people's wallet just like that, there could have being some form of comprising and vulnerability actionable mistake you may have made that led to such loss. It's really a pity and I sympathise with your financial loss.

Your comment seems like a made up story because you didn't explain anything and didn't give any information. If you had told us what kind of wallet you were using, we would have had an idea but you didn't say anything like that.

You don't know about Bitcoin but how did you put the money you saved for your mother's surgery in Bitcoin. You gambled with your mother's life and now how will you operate on your mother.

From the blockchain you can see which address your Bitcoin went to. You can see it with your address or if you put your Bitcoin in a fraudulent wallet and if you were a victim of fraud then of course it's a different matter

But I assume that you weren't and you have just forgotten something about your wallet either with the password or your keys. I hope that it's not that too heavy and still able to get it. And is it only with a personal desktop wallet of yours and not with an exchange?

What were your activities about how you handled the logins or keys to the wallet if any.

I dislike hearing that people are losing their bitcoin for some mistakes they would have prevented from happening, this is why most of those hack and scam events are being traced down to vulnerabilities created by any user. If you don't give them an idea of what you are up to and the kind of your bitcoin portfolio, including other cryptos, discovering you as a target will be so difficult for them to do.

You need to provide more details about your problem and also pictures so that people can see more clearly what your problem actually is. If it's like this, people will just try to guess whether you got scammed, sent it to the wrong address, or someone got your seed phrase and emptied your Bitcoin. There are many things that could cause there to be no Bitcoin left in your wallet.
