I see no reason why anyone should make any investment without doing any research unless you are not concerned about where your hard earned money is goes into. But one other thing I would add to this is the fact that you can make research and still end up getting scammed at the end of the day, this isn't based on knowledge but the absence of emotional control. A lot of people get carried away easily when it comes to making money rapidly, scammers use this to take advantage of them, this is why psychological and emotional discipline is important.

It is not everyone who does research before investing because there are some people who already have the mindset of making a quick profit from investments, and they are quick to believe any investment they see.

People like this will easily fall for scams because of the mindset they have. It is only those who understand what investment is all about, even if they have a slight understanding of it,  who don’t relax but still do more research to gain a better understanding of the investment. Some individuals also have the mentality that money is the most important factor, believing that for an investment to work well, it is just necessary to have money, and they pay no attention to learning more about the investment.

I believe "Do you know your own research and verify before trusting"  is like a national anthem here on Bitcointalk. Before you invest your money in any business or asset it is available to do your own research before investing your hard earned money. Anyone who blindly invest their money in any business or asset simply because they learned about the business from someone else, an online influencer or a celebrity will have themselves to blame when the investment doesn't turn out well.

Decisions should never be rushed, but rather, decisions should be made after research and verification. But if temptation overcomes a person, then research or verification cannot play an effective role.

Never think that this is the last chance or that losing this opportunity will cause you great losses, or do not strive for those opportunities that come very quickly. Sometimes there may be exceptions, but most of the time such opportunities work as a cycle of fraud. Therefore, do as much research and verification as possible, take your time until the opportunity proves to be honest. Most importantly, never give room to temptation in your decision-making.

Well (OP)  I really thank you for this topic.

Well so time ago I posted about investors re-learning after learning,

 You see it is good to re learn what you have learnt  before,  this will  enable it seems like a fresh knowledge to you and rebrand your mindset once again,  nobody is above mistake therefore learning never ends.

Researching will help you verify facts and detect scams immediately before you trust or send money.

Sometime ago I was scammed alot of money because I didn't verify about the platform very well,

just because it was stated that they will double my money in 5 day's as the train is moving,

I was really expecting huge amount of money until that day of withdrawal the sites totally went blank

, not just me , Alot of people has been going through this, Identifying scam is very easy, if only you verify and detect imposter, fake website, fake email address and  fake investment opportunities, one thing that causes this is , trying to make quick changes, money, promises of guaranteed profits etc all this causes greed.

Therefore let's learn for my mistake and verify before investing.

Yea, you are right to some point, making decision without checking the decision thoroughly can cause a very big problem sometimes and the reason i said sometimes is because it is not all the time the decision can cause problem because sometimes, there are some decision that if you do not take that moment it will be late so we can not generalize it. In addition to this you said i think another reason why some people fall for scam is big eye other words known as greed, some folks are so greed that they want to make it in a blink of an eye.

OP you have done very well by opening up this topic here. You explained this thing very well but you forgot to add an example here. I think people learn well only when they are given an example of an incident on that topic or other means through which people can become properly aware. For example

A person gets an offer from a platform that they will double his funds within a few days. That person invests $500 with that unknown platform. After a few days they show $1000 on their platform. When he tries to withdraw they give him the feature to withdraw several time after which he becomes a little cautious and goes to some platforms to search about them. Later he see that many people have reported about their scam. That person cannot do anything now because he has already invested. If he had just searched about this for five minutes before investing, then surely he would not have had to give his $500 to the scammers.

Op researching can actually help us to make a good decisions,there was a saying that aways says, what you don't know will never kill you, but I must say that, when it comes to knowledge in bitcoinin investment, wetin you no know pass you, As such being a researcher has a great advantages,because not only protecting you from scammers, it also makes you smarter by making sure everything is beibeing verified before giving it a trust, again  in terms of bitcoin investment, you don't need to be in a race with anyone, invest what you can afford to lose, and stop acting wrongly when seeing someone over you. In a country where desperation lies within the heart of many, they may not thunk twice when they see an opportunity that looks too good to be true.

Once it sounds pleasing and see the fake testimonies, they become prey and easy target for the scammers. Some people don't even know about doing research while those who knows, don't take it seriously. They feel it's a waste of time but that is yh beginning of their problems.

There is a saying that knowledge is power, and in this modern world, you don't have to believe anything you are being told without finding out the genuity of that very information more especially as it concerns money. It is true that everyone wants to make money, and there are some people that because of despiracy, and how quick they want to make money they don't care asking questions or make proper research if what they want to invest their money into is legitimate or not. Greed majors plenty of people fall victim to scams they would have easily overlooked and the moment you start feeling you need easy money, that's a wrong spirit and in most cases, try to stay indoors than go out 😔
Most of the scam cases especially about bitcoin that I hear are mostly about investment and I wouldn't call it a full ponzi scam because it does not operate totally like a ponzi scheme even if it has several similar features and when you look deep into this cases you'll sense some level of greed in this victims and that's why I believe greed is one of the major cause of bitcoin investment scam.

Fear of missing affects more of newbies and the only valid reason someone who have been into bitcoin, and known as well as  understands how bitcoin works will not investment in it, except a sustainable means to buy and this is especially the reason why most of my countrymen might not be holding bitcoin considering the state of the economy and country now.

So I agree with you that, doing more of research will help people avoid falling victims of petty scams especially when the scam scope looks too real to be ignored.

It has been said number of times that making our own personal research is very important, even though we are 100% guarantee that the source we usually get our information does not tell lies yet I see reasons why we need to make our own personal research before agreeing to whatever thing that we are being taught because changes can happen in a twinkle of an eyes. Personally I don't quite agree with whatever thing I see or hear from people not until I make my own personal research, I tend to agree with what they Said that's if the information I got from my research correlate with that of the one they taught me earlier before then. But if there's a kind of complication between the both then I will have to digress a little or I consult other source before I come to conclusion.
