There is this my colleague that doesn't have fear if he loses or wins but what he focus more is how to be winning always and not minding regardless to his high staking power, that he might lose most times too but the last amount he stake with, was $377.28 to win $754.56, and this my colleagues was lucky to have won $754.56 three times in a role using $377.28 as his staking power, do you know what the betting site he was using to place all those betting, they blocked his account and tag him for money laundry and do you guys know the funniest part, upon his winning, that my colleagues has not withdraw any of his winnings from the online betting site and he was able to contact some of his friends and they provided a number for he to call customer service and when he finally called them, they asked him allot of questions that ended of him going to the bank to print out his paying slips and statement of accounting that shown that he is a working class and then upload it in there site and after doing all that, finally his account was late open and he was able to gain access to his winnings.
Perhaps your colleague has done some activity that violates their ToS. Gambling sites may have some rules in their ToS where they can set a maximum bet amount for a game but perhaps your colleague has violated that limit and therefore considered his activity as money laundering. In this case he can read the ToS and match his activity with it. If he sees that he is not at fault then he can definitely report against that platform because if he has not violated their ToS then in that case that platform does not have the right to ban his account. If there is an announcement thread of that platform in this forum then inform him about it there op may help him

It's a signal if your colleague has to go stake, jokingly.  Cheesy

But frankly, i think that case is solved when the casino let your colleague to re-access his balance. They might be suspecting your colleague did money laundry, but they indirectly admitted they're wrong by over tuned the ban to your colleague account.

You can also tell your colleague to place a bet with different amounts of money. Placing the bets with same amount can sometimes be suspected as a wash betting. He may not face the same case in the future.

Hence, no house is keen to lose. So this is a normal habit showed by the house in the gambling industry. However, i'm wondering what casino it is by banning someone who won small amount of money.

Because of this incident that happened to my colleagues, he withdraw all the money and close the account, so question is, assuming you are to be the the guy, will you close your account with them? Because their characters mean that the owner of a gambling site do find joy when ever a customer loses.

I have seen people experienced this in my country, they don't even get notify through email probably because they used mobile number to registered accounts. The momem you login to your account, you will be redirected to your account to withdraw all your balance and once you are done, your account will be auto closed and you wouldn't be able to register with the casino again, they also blacklist the IP address you are coming from incase you come back with another identity and phone number.

If you experience this and you know very well that you are a versatile gambler, that should be your list concern. If you can withdraw your money from the casino, take it elsewhere where you are going to be free to do what you like and you don't have to worry about banning from winning. As long as you are not cheating your way to win in the casino, prove them wrong that you worth your winning.

At least your colleague was able to withdraw the money. But in most cases this does not happen. Due to such problems, you lose money permanently. For this I think if you play a KYC casino, then you should verify your account on that website in advance. So that even if you win big money, you do not have to face any difficulties or problems like blocking such funds. Such an incident happened to me. But not after winning, but after depositing. After depositing they asked me for KYC verification along with my house electricity bill document. After giving that, they approved me to bet with that money. So I want to say is that we should always try to play at a reputable casino on the forum, because if there is a problem, at least posting on the forum can get a solution.

Yes, if i am that your colleague. I'll also close my account and move to a trusted online casino since there are plenty of online betting platforms that are looking for more users. It is not good to stay in their gambling environment where your winnings are seen as something illicit.
Aside, the honest fact is that most bookmakers and online casinos hate consistent winners, especially when the winning is done constantly through the use of the same stake size.
I dont know why, but they mostly consider restricting the user account. I will advise you to tell your colleague not to use the same stake size

Always making sure to read and understand the site guideline on using their platforms is always important, some of the things we do mention to have observed after winning were sometimes stated in the terms of the platforms, but because we are too busy to pay attention and give some time to reading them, we end up becoming victims of circumstances and then we will want to throw the blame at the casino and label them some bad casino or cheating their customers.

Although I'm aware that some casino can be very dubious and shady with their practice, but then we have our parts to play sometimes before we will get to start throwing blames. Closing the account alone is not all that should be done, because if he wants to still continue gambling on another platform, he should make sure to go through their terms so he will not get to suffer such again. Don't get me wrong, I'm not exactly siding the casino but I'm only saying we should be more mindful so we can prevent things like this form happening and not getting to suffer them.

This is the usual behavior you encounter in shady casinos. They let you play first as if their compliance screening tool is stuck and see how your portfolio develops. If you have a big win or streak, their tool suddenly activates and marks your account as risky. But these are all cases that are rarely encountered in legitimate casinos; if we pay more attention to the full story, perhaps we can accept the reasons why casinos do what they do.

I can also do the same by closing my account to avoid future occurrences, but on the other hand, still playing in that casino can be the best thing since you have already encountered the issue, and they have unlocked the account. There is a high chance they won’t lock it again as long as you don’t violate their rules. Since it’s also a local casino, it’s possible they are just implementing an anti-money laundering policy and don’t hold much stuff against the player.
My friend would say that you should stick to casinos that bring luck  Cheesy. Since he is always winning at that casino, closing the account might not be my choice. I would rather exercise caution by withdrawing my wins instead of keeping them in the casino.

I also share your thoughts that he might never suffer such issues again since he has been intensively scrutinized by the casino.

This is why its ideal to choose a casino that is trusted and has no negative feedback. I feel physical casinos have a lot of restrictions which is why I have opted for crypto casinos. Legit casinos do ask for KYC in order to prevent money laundering but what happened to your friend with over just 700 bucks is really not good. I cant blame the casino, as other users might also be facing the same issues. Your friend needs to do proper research before choosing a good casino.

I have been gambling for more than a decade and I always try to choose reputable casinos. Hence, I have never had a withdrawal declined in my life. If I were in your friend’s place I would simply just withdraw my deposit and never look back at that casino.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. It's my fault that I didn't find the solution. Actually, the amount he bet was not a very large amount. So in that case, I don't think it is fair to ask him for proof of income source. When a gambler deposits money on a platform, they can ask for financial documents from the player. With the amount he has deposited, he can gamble and bet any amount that is within their limitations. But after winning, his account will be blocked but he will not be stopped from making a deposit, which I think is really unfair. Anyway, since his problem has been solved, it is definitely good news, but this experience was very bad for him.

They blocked his account because they're looking for means not to allow him withdraw his profits. You should know how casinos behave these days. They look for every possible excuse to prevent them from paying you your wins.

This is a big lesson to your friend that, he should never leave his funds in the casino account because they can halt your widrawal if the funds is huge. He did the right thing by closing his account to be on the safe side in future.

It’s happening all the time and will keep happening as long as some people are not willing to spend few minutes finding a reputable platforms, if you’re a cryptocurrency player then you can easily find the best one here, if otherwise, you can search online by seeing some valid reviews or better to pick the top and known platforms.
If you are asking if known platforms can scam you and block your winnings, especially with only hundreds of dollars, the answer is NO! These kind of people will never risk losing their reputation over a very small amount that they can use it to promote their brand for one person.

The resume of all this conflict is simply knowing where you gamble, yes if you pick the wrong platform they will easily block your account.

The incident you mentioned suggests that your friend is indeed very lucky because winning through gambling requires the help of luck, and the gambler must be lucky to win $754.56 by betting $377.28.

I like to betting small amounts and do not withdraw all the money by winning. Block an account just because of suspicion is never a reasonable reason and when talking to the casino management to unblock the account, they ask for information that is really annoying for a gambler. When registering an account in a casino, most casinos require KYC, in which the casino accepts various types of personal information of a gambler.
Everything goes within the rules of the casino and a suspicious gambler's account is closed and various types of information are asked from the gambler to open that account, then it is certainly logical, I mean if everything goes within the rules then it is okay to provide additional information because the casino has warned about this in advance. So, no matter which casino we choose to gamble at, we should first observe the rules and regulations there and then make a decision.

Maybe the betting site blocked his account because of repeated wins, considering it suspicious, but later when the gambler submitted the necessary information, they sent the money. Although it is late, I would not say that they did this with the intention of scamming. If they really did this, they would never have returned the bet money. They would have tried to cut off contact. However, I have one suspicion behavior about the site that after placing a bet of $ 377, he won only $ 754. This is not a big bet, so why are they bringing this small amount under the ambit of money laundering. If the winning amount was much more, then such an accusation could have been made, but it was not, which is why I do not have full confidence in that site. If I myself were in such a situation, after withdrawing the winnings for the first time I would definitely avoid betting on that site because if I had a bigger win there, they could deny that bet or can unnecessarily block the winning amount.

confirmation of source of income is a standard procedure which make casino as regulatery compliance company which make them very effective in their service delivery for customers.

I have encountered source verification demand on few cases and in all of that I make sure to comply with whatever the casino is asking for and once you meet the requirements, your account will be allowed to start operating as if nothing ever happens that is if you did not abuse any casino rules to trigger such demand to verify your income and deposits sources.

The story you have narrated is a normal thing in casino business. If you are winning consistently, some casinos will request for KYC to be sure you are a human.  Some good casino do add this to their TOS but they phrase the statement in such a way that it does not directly mean asking for KYC due to regular winning. Running away from the casino is not the best decision because they acted within their TOS and even if your friend wants to run,  the casino he is running to may require the same thing if wins consistently.
Exactly, the next casino he is running to might even do the same when he wins consistently and it actually normal for casinos to request for some personal information when they suspect money laundering to clarify your claims. I will also say it was a good thing after his colleague provided those information, his money was released because I believe if they wanted to scam him or if they were fraud, they wouldn’t have released the money.

Interesting. What if the betting company was just trying to verify details about him? People use robots to win these days. You might say I am siding the casino, but I am not. I am just saying they might have a valid reason for doing what they did. And for your friend rushing to close the account is a bad idea. That account now will be free from any further investigation in the future, or does he think running to another casino will solve the issue. Another casino will still ask again for those same documents he submitted to the first one after a win.

Because of this incident that happened to my colleagues, he withdraw all the money and close the account, so question is, assuming you are to be the the guy, will you close your account with them? Because their characters mean that the owner of a gambling site do find joy when ever a customer loses.
Well, to be honest, it happens with every casino. No site wants or likes winning players, especially those who have found some way to come out in profit; whether it's via abusing the bonuses or by pro sports betting. Now, sometimes even good and genuine customers get troubled and at other times it's just a bad casino to begin with.

There are so so many shady casinos and these withdrawal issues are why I avoid new casinos, even though they arguably offer bigger bonuses and better lossback deals to get you signed up. It's just that the potential trouble later is not worth getting all these flashy bonuses and trying new sites.

But it is indeed true that once you start winning, you will be forced to KYC, asked to submit advance documents, proof of funds, and whatever possible to make your stay troublesome. And in the end, the casino does have the power to simply ban you from future gameplay, although they usually end up paying what you already won, unless you fail the KYC or fail to provide those extra docs that are asked.

It's a signal if your colleague has to go stake, jokingly.  Cheesy
Haha, Stake's great but I often see people complaining about not being able to withdraw on Stake too. I do think usually it's the gamblers doing something shady and end up getting locked out of their funds.

I remember one time I won an MLB bet and a few hours later the result was reversed and the bet was voided on Stake. No, I'm not accusing Stake, the support explained to me that the lines were wrong when I placed the bet and all the bets during a certain window were reversed. Now it makes sense but as someone who genuinely made a random bet, it sucks to have a winning bet reversed. If I had bad intentions, I would simply withdraw but I let the funds stay so the bet was adjusted, and funds were taken away. Happens once in a while and sucks when you are at the wrong end of it.
