The importance of refinery for this oil world nor b here

And imo this one feels a little like a good opportunity

I like the idea that Dangote has been able to bring out his shares for people to buy in the stock market, but the campaign at which Nigeria are going on with it is scary for me, baba make this kind thing no turn out to be another thing else oh. However, one the major reasons why I like the idea at which people are so interested in dangote shares for the refinery, is that it will expose a lot of young persons that want to invest into the stock market and it will give them the knowledge to understand that the market is volatile and you should not expect your return on investment almost immediately. Most persons don't know about the intricacies that happens in the stock market, so I believe this will give a background knowledge for first comers.

No vex at all, big man. I actually agree with you. Since the same discussion is already ongoing on the main board, it makes more sense to continue there rather than having multiple threads discussing the same thing. I’ll lock this one so everyone can contribute in one place.

Do not mind me that I will disagree with this. Do not be surprised if the price of fuel will later increase. Nigeria government should know how they can tackle inflation.

But I believe that the extent that the price of fuel supposed to go without the refinery, the refinery will reduce it significantly.

Na true talk you don't talk, Nigeria as e de be now, de suffer for shortage of fuel supply, and high cost of transportation, and I believe if this dangote Refinery don de work in full capacity, and the federal government of Nigeria also fix the three refineries wey no de work now, I believe say the cost of transportation go reduce well well.
On the other hand, the sale of the Dangote Refinery IPO is another new opportunity for Nigerians, and to those who want to take advantage of the new opportunity, and also diversify their investment to buying of shares, and is always more profitable to engage in this kind of opportunity now that it new, and if you are interested you can equally get registered with one of this reputable stock exchanges, and from their you can be able to get your own share of Dangote Refinery shares.

This is a company share , it's a risky venture and is good to buy now in case it work out tomorrow Yountville follow them to benefit,  I'm not buying it, I don't see any potential in it, I feel Dagote want to expend his company and he needed public donations,  he even so much loan on him already to clear, I don't see any genuine interest in this, Dagote that's selling Nigerians different price of cement from that he sells in other countries can't be trusted.

Beside, I can't invest in any stock that's not decentralized,  I don't trust Dagote with my money, he is very close the government and they might reduce fuel price tomorrow and it will definitely affect interest in the Dagote IPO.  If you trust the system you can buy but I don't see any potential in it.

Just because everyone is buying into something doesn't mean it will be successful. From what I have noticed over the years is that once everyone knows about something, it will be very difficult to actually see a good gain from it. The hype pattern follows those alt coins format. A very good hype and everyone keys into it, just to find out that it isn't worth the hype. I am just stating a pattern that has been occuring over the years. I am not saying it will happen to Dangotes IPO. What I am stating is the occurrence of something that has been running over the years. Too much hype on something will produce little to no gain at all.

I see the whole thing as extortion for the rich and wealthy to make more money. People should not be fooled by Otedola, Davido and other big money bags' involvement; they know what you don't know and are vying for board control over time, even as they might have bought their shares supercheaply.

Anything people rush into this way doesn't end well for them or gain so little. Buying Dangote's company's shares is not the same as directly gaining from the refining, except for the peanut dividend. The high official listing price of ₦525 per share is even sickening.

First, the investment is not cheap; ₦525 per share is no joke. Second, it's a misconception to say Dangote doesn't mean well for Nigeria/Nigerians. As a matter of fact, Dangote is one of the few figures who should be most praised in the country. He is not a perfect individual, but has done so well that Nigerians should appreciate him. This is unlike most politicians and well-to-do individuals who prefer to hide or invest their money abroad.

As for this IPO thing, well, his company's approach is the global standard; though the price is high, they do this process globally. My earlier view was totally from the economical/smart investment standpoint for the purchasers, and not about the personality of Dangote himself.

Is everyone buying? I don't think so, you can say people are buying, it will sound more better that way, although I understand what you mean, which I think is right, but don't we think that the billionaires and big shots in this country has purchase the major part of these shares, maybe what's left for the public is shaft, I'm just saying, no one should get me wrong, we all have our personal opinions to something of this nature especially as it has to do with investment on shares, I just have to say the truth, I don't trust Dangote, I just hope this is not a trap, the man called Dangote should not be trusted, we may not know if the share stuff will be profitable but we have seen things like this in the past that didn't go well, which I believe that it is what you are driving at.

But if it is Google Alphabet, Tesla, Nvedia, Apple and others, you will trust it. Nigerians will continue to blame the government and now they are saying people should not trust Dangote just like what VDM said. I like VDM before, but there are some unnecessary things he is saying recently. All I hope is that Dangote refinery can become larger and the Dangote stock later increase at least 2 to 3 times. Embrace your countries companies.

Dangote was a very successful business man before the IPO.
