Coins that offer services that solve real problem, should get more attention instead of those coins that completely depend on hype. Eth, Solana and a few smart contract platforms support useful services, focused on utility and offers better technology in the whole crypto market than making profit.

Some shitcoins using AI tag to create hype among investors but it doesn't bring them successful. Although some AI project are working on solving real problems but we shouldn't choose a coin just because it has a good idea. People are not interested in coins that solves real problem, what people are after now are coins which is going to give them quick profits, and they are goings which depends on hype. Most people investing in altcoins now are just after quick profits, people are after coins which is going to pump massively, and they going to make huge amount of money, they not interested in coins which is going to grow gradually. The level which we are now, it’s just difficult to identify real project from all this pump and dump projects.

They should. But they won't. Why? Because the vast majority of retail investors only care about the profits. Even developers are in the same boat. Perhaps, everyone will start to take things seriously with "Wall Street" on board?

With serious, institutional investors, developers would be forced to focus on "quality" instead of "quantity". This means giving coins utility, instead of letting speculation be their destiny. For now, only old cryptos are useful. The rest are simply pure junk. You can agree to disagree, however.

The narrative is now moving quickly, tokens are popping up all the time, good projects are stalled because there are no enthusiasts, developers who only aim to build L1 or L2 are currently not very interesting regardless of utility if the innovations offered are not much different from the existing ones, this is where new projects that are popping up do not get much attention because we already have a chain that is much stronger fundamentally and also in terms of community or users.

The developers and retailers are looking for a niche market for profit in the short term, therefore casinos such as Pumfun, Stonk, Pons and others to be their playground, this also happens because the market speculation began to change where the bad retail and developers who see the niche exploit each other so that there is social trading and actually this was born from the main market that is not interesting, I do not say everything but what we notice is clearly the market situation for innovation is very poor in my opinion.

The problem with utility tokens is that they cannot be sold, and overly aggressive airdrops can also trigger regulatory risks. Yet, a project needs to attract investors to foster its development. Consequently, these tokens do not solve all the problems; rather, they only complicate the situation.

Even CZ Binance knows that, though it took him a while to come around that knowledge. There used to be a time Binance never tolerated tokens without utility on its platform. But today, it's a different story. Binance will list any project with hype. Where the noise is, that's where the money is as they say.

I do not think this is true or maybe it is me that did not notice. Since I have been using Binance in 2020, they can list any coin that is trendy, be it utility tokens or not utility tokens. I think Binance listing price was or is high which makes the coin find it late to be listed on Binance. If you have the money and have the trading volume required by Binance, they do not care about your project than to list it for you on their exchange.

I'm talking about pre–2020. I started using Binance about three months it was founded in 2017. It was the ICO days. You can ask those who were around and actively involved in this industry then.
