It has been 2 weeks since GhostSwap last responded. They ignored even OrangeFren's request to send me at least a message. I am still waiting.

They have no reason to solve anything. They are still listed on OF, I assume on other aggregators as well. Ok, there is an orange warning on OF that refers to this thread.
Since you have a valid open order, I think you should be allowed to leave feedback on OF.
I did it for you on kycnot.me

GhostSwap has still not responded — neither to me nor to OrangeFren.

And now they have changed their website again. They have returned the "NO KYC" tagline — the same one they removed after my case became public.

They are ignoring both me and OrangeFren, and they are back to advertising "NO KYC" as if nothing happened.

OrangeFren said they would hide them again if they don't respond. I think it is already time to do that.

Maybe you could tell me which other reputable listings feature GS besides OF and Kycnot.me? They haven't actually responded to me yet; OF promised to remove them from its listing if they don't reply, and I'm still waiting for that to happen.

Probably the strongest negative reference is bad feedback on Reddit. I see that the 12.5 ETH case was already there
https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoScams/

I did a little research on them, and I see that they have invested a lot of money in PR marketing. Many large portals have written a review about them, although not very detailed and at the same time they do not have the option of user comments.

If you report a case on Monerica, which is very respectable in the Monero community, GS will be marked as unverified until they provide proof that the case has been resolved. This would be good for your case.
https://monerica.com/site/ghostswap

You can start from the directories that are also presented on this forum and that have Ghostswap listed on their platforms. They may not be overly influential, but they can certainly increase the pressure
So for example
https://notkyc.life/exchange/ghostswap
https://dontkyc.me/service/ghostswap
https://welivecrypto.com/projects/ghostswap

So you're waiting for OF, and what exactly do you expect it to cause? Specifically for you? Do you think that will trigger GS or Hitbtc to pay you?

I gave you suggestions above, you have no reason to keep on hold, especially on Reddit. Also, GS is a sponsor on Monerica. Your case could shake things up there.
If I were you, I would definitely consider filing a lawsuit against GS

I'm waiting for a refund; I think being removed from OF might affect this process. I'll also post about this on Reddit.

As for me, there’s still no progress. OrangeFren claims that GhostSwap is responding to them, but I don’t see any changes. GhostSwap hasn’t responded to me for almost a month.

I recently contacted their support team through their website. They asked me to send my transaction ID. I sent it—and they disappeared again. As soon as they notice me, they stop responding.

Can anyone ask them to at least comment on this somehow?

Update — October 15, 2026:

OrangeFren informed me that GhostSwap asked them to remove the warning about my case. OrangeFren refused. They said the warning is of interest to their users, regardless of whether I am their user or not. The warning stays. I appreciate what OrangeFren is doing.

This shows that GhostSwap is trying to hide the problem instead of solving it. I am still waiting for a response — GhostSwap has not replied to me at all.

Does anyone know of any other regulators or platforms where I can file a complaint? I am open to any suggestions. I tried Reddit, but I think my account is too new.

Regarding other regulators or platforms where you can make complaints, I cannot comment but am sure others will present ideas. As for GhostSwap, I am glad you posted about them contacting OrangeFren in an attempt to have the warning removed. Also, (according to your statement) OrangeFren have not accepted that request therefore they seem to be taking the right side here and many members would have noted that.

If GhostSwap is not contacting you then they will not have the OrangeFren warning removed. It is in their interest to contact you to find a resolution.

This thread deserves a bump, given that, according to the OP, the issue remains unresolved.

@XLXer, Have you heard from GS since? I think you said somewhere that you were having trouble with your e-mail address, so much so that even OrangeFren couldn't reply to you. Could it be that the same problem affected GS too? Have you tried reaching out to them again?

There aren't any problems with my email right now; GS hasn't responded to me for over a month—neither via email nor on Simplex (where they last wrote to me over a month ago).
I asked OrangeFren to pass along a request for GS to at least give me some kind of response; OrangeFren did so, but GS still hasn’t written to me. Instead, their homepage now features a banner that reads “Anonymous No KYC Crypto Exchange for 1,600+ Coins.”
OrangeFren has been very helpful to me, and I have great respect for this service—I’ve used it many times over the past month. However, by not removing GS from their listings until my issue is resolved, I believe they’re putting their users at enormous risk. Anyone could have been in my shoes, and that’s truly frightening.

It's been more than 1.5 months since GS stopped responding to me, and they also filed a complaint against my review on TrustPilot. I guess they don't like the fact that they owe me 20.5 ETH.

Yes, thank you for your support. As I mentioned earlier, the funds were indeed sent to HitBTC’s addresses—that is an indisputable fact. I don’t know why GS posted the message “NO KYC” in large font on its website with such confidence. And at this point, it’s unclear how many more people may have been affected.
If GhostSwap says it is a NO-KYC service, how can it work with a third-party liquidity provider that requires KYC? If that's possible, GhostSwap should have made it clear to users from the start, before they realized their funds were frozen because they had been sent to HitBTC's addresses.

Even if HitBTC is responsible for freezing the funds, GhostSwap should explain the whole situation instead of ignoring the customer and not replying. This really hurts their credibility. I blame GhostSwap for this. They should have been clear with users and explained the risks of using their service from the beginning instead of blaming another exchange for freezing users' funds.

Also, mate, you should have split your transactions into smaller amounts instead of making one large transaction all at once.

Thank you for your reply. I had four transactions, all from the same source, and only the third one was blocked. That's very strange.

Here is an update on my case.

I found an old email from GhostSwap from September 14, 2026 (screenshot 1). In it, they clearly state: "The partner's verification process is still open to you."

So today I wrote to them again. I said I am ready to pass this KYC verification. I asked them to send me the link and to tell me what happens after.

But here is my question. How does this fit with what is written on their website right now? (screenshot 2). They still advertise themselves as "Anonymous No KYC Crypto Exchange" and "NO KYC · NO ACCOUNT · NO EMAIL".

So they can demand KYC whenever they want, but they keep advertising that they don't. This is misleading.

I am still waiting for their answer

They were (and still are) using third-party services for exchanges and were never in possession of your funds as they were just a bridge to link the trader to the exchange. GhostSwap are powerless to intervene in the event an exchange decides to block a trade.

As far as the no KYC claim is concerned, it was wrong of GhostSwap to have stated that. If they are still promoting themselves as "No KYC, No account, No email and anonymous" then that is clearly a false claim as their liquidity partners could freeze swaps at any time and enforce KYC. I have visited their website, they are claiming:

"What is an anonymous crypto exchange? An anonymous crypto exchange lets you swap one coin for another without creating an account or handing over personal details. On GhostSwap you choose two coins, paste the address that should receive the coins and send the deposit. There is no sign-up and no email, and the swapped coins arrive in your own wallet."

Not only that, they are claiming that "you" hold your funds. There is no mention of a third-party or liquidity partner on their home page. If this is how they operate, I would have expected more victims to have come forward.
