Thoughts on the notorious claim that "Bitcoin is dead"

The only thing notorious about that claim is how silly it sounds. It's like saying money is dead or some other similar crap. People who say such stuff are simply attention seeking fools trying to take advantage of BTC in a braindead manner basically.

No need to overanalyze every single statement people. Instead, it's better to devote your resources and time towards more productive stuff maximizing efficiency in our lives.

In my opinion, the concept of not overanalyzing each and every statement makes sense but I'm not saying that the conversation should be eliminated entirely.  One thing I believe is that a sentence someone is making might sound silly but most times that claim might lead us to question the point that individual is actually making.

The interesting thing here it's not really about whether or not Bitcoin is truly dead,  but what does anyone mean when they use the word dead? And from there it can bring a productive conversation about what Bitcoin is doing now and what people really want from it. So perhaps the claim might not really worth much consideration but the concept behind it is worth considering.

Bitcoin has gone through some "black swan events" like financial crisis in 2008 - 2009, the Covid-19 pandemic, the almost WWIII since 2022 but we have witnessed Bitcoin is about $80,000 recent days. It's magic and if these "events" have yet killed Bitcoin, I strongly believe that Bitcoin is here to stay, and will never die.

Developments, adoption will naturally grow with time while surely there will be further regulations which are not harmful for Bitcoin. Governments can not stop Bitcoin development and adoption growth after the Bitcoin snowball already started since 2009 and governments missed golden time to kill Bitcoin in earliest years.

Now even governments already mined bitcoin, invested money in Bitcoin, stop selling bitcoin seized from criminals in order to build up their National Bitcoin Treasuries.

If bitcoin is dead who must have killed bitcoin, you could probably know who does… however I know there are so many people that would have expected bitcoin to fail unfortunately that did not happen.

That brings me to ask which altcoin or shitcoin have you been advertising, because you sound more like someone who doesn’t fancy bitcoin.

Mostly peoples were talking this just in hate because they have nothing to argue about this having nothing solid aspect of talk why its going to be dead but now adopting its and price is also staying on good level many are change their minds and arguments but still few are not accepting this so they are still in trauma and trying to create feud its not going to be have anything positive for them. The notorious claim that "Bitcoin is dead" is incorrect in several respects. Bitcoin bears no resemblance to anything usually referred to as a dead coin. Not at all.

However, in one sense, this claim might also be correct...
Bitcoin is dead in the same sense as a Nobel Prize-winning poet. It is at the pinnacle of fame and can be a great source of inspiration. But it is not something to believe in or to bet on.
I feel there is a grain of truth in that claim.

Since the invention of Bitcoin, Bitcoin has been declared dead many times and then it has come back to life again. So the dead status of Bitcoin is not something new, but it is an old version that is presented again and again. But don't worry, every time Bitcoin is declared dead, Bitcoin will come back to life again. Surprisingly, Bitcoin has been declared dead more than twenty times in 2026 and this is a common term for Bitcoin.

Never been correct, why would we believe that? experienced holders who went with those FUD almost everyday in the news articles won't believe it anymore. And don't empty your energies to these claims because they have never been true. We see that bitcoin is stronger than before and the adoption keeps on growing and reaching the masses for each other, government approving it and trying to make a plan of using it as their reserve. Just say yes to these claims that it's a yes, it's dead and so they're free to spread their FUD and online terror somewhere and no longer to btc.
