I also see these weekly and monthly bonuses as very good deterrence in fighting your gambling addiction in case you have one. For example I wait patiently for the weekly bonus and monthly bonus and I use them to have some fun while at the same time refraining to deposit big amounts of money in short amounts of time. Of course I still do deposit yet I am feeling good compared to when I even maxed out my credit card just to fuel my gambling addiction.

Some still t hink it means extra chance of profit, so they bet the rakeback amount in order to try recovering their money, but it doesn't change anything on long run. That is why I enjoyed giveaways much more than anything casinos offer these days. Unfortunatelly giveaways are extinct, as these businesses don't feel like they need pleasing customers that way in order to have them loyal ro their platforms.

Why will casinos continue to give out giveaways when they know that nothing that they are doing is going to keep gambling customers anymore when they are not winning as they will always want to try out newer casino as they will think that their luck can help them over that casino and they win since the current casinos that they are using is not favouring them. Also those that want to use their rakeback to gamble futher in attempt to win back their money or to reduce their losses can not succeed because of the mentality they have going into that game that even though they would have won, things go against them immediately they start playing.

There is still a lot to learn about how the Rakeback and Chasback schemes work, but the two are different, because the advertised rates are the same and the calculation base is different.

Each casino has a policy that will certainly be different, casinos that already have high credibility may give both rakeback and cashback that are equally profitable,
both for players and for the casino, but for casinos that have no credibility and are completely illegal, I doubt about the rakeback or cashback programs they provide, and of course the percentages will be different.

Rakeback is a share of the house edge, not a share of your losses and not a share of your wagers. Two different formulas are in use and they are easy to confuse.

Honestly I wasn’t really aware of how rakeback works in casinos, I always find a small amount to collect after a long session. Sometimes I play less and find more rakeback than when playing more. Some casinos have more rakeback but less offers and promotions, while others give more offers and less rakeback. I only had the chance to look more into this when I worked for few casinos ( marketing side) to understand better what players actually prefer.

I must say that most players are selective when it comes to what casinos are offering back, especially high stake gamblers. It makes a big difference when you’re gambling with a higher amount compared to small amounts. Imagine getting few cents in the other side others getting hundreds back….

Overall, I believe rakeback alone doesn’t mean a better casino. Attractive offers combined are more worthy when picking a casino.
