Sometimes a fighter can surprise us, and if that happens it could ruin Cruz's plan to fight Ryan Garcia. Hopefully it won't happen because that would also ruin the matchup many of us are already expecting to see.

It happened to him once; I don't think Pitbull will let it happen again. It's been a hard climb since that Valenzuela loss, and he is prepared and will not let it happen again.

I have seen the weigh-in and the final face-off, and neither fighter is friendly to the other; they are highly motivated, so we're going to have a very good match ahead of us. It's going to be full of action if only Bravo engages and doesn't do a hit-and-run.

I'm sorry, but I don't think Pitbull has a chance to win against Garcia. We just saw Benn getting annihilated in his recent fight, and both Benn and Pitbull has the same style (aggressive). That Benn-Garcia fight shows that speed can defeat aggressiveness that's why I don't think Pitbull has a chance... or is he interested on fighting Garcia in the first place after what happened with Conor Benn?

If you are heavy handed, there's always that chance of landing that one punch that could turn the fight around in Pitbull's favor but that would defend on the situation if Ryan Garcia would be careless. Let us remember that Pitbull Cruz has defeated Rolly Romero via technical knockout while Rolly Romero defeated Ryan Garcia. I hate to compare but i just say that Pitbull has this puncher's chance of defeating Garcia.

Ryan at 147 is just too good for any fighter, and if Pitbull goes up to 147 with Ryan's size and power, I don't think Pitbull has a chance,, but if Pitbull's team can convince Ryan to go down to 140 with a dehydration clause like what Gervonta did then Pitbull will have a chance of beating Ryan.

On the idea if Pitbull will accept the challenge, i think if the money is right then this will be a go. In boxing money talks and this could be the biggest purse that Pitbull will receive in his career.

In this present generation, boxers want to win titles so they can increase their bargaining power; for boxers in this era, money talks; titles are secondary, titles are vehicles for big money fights.

For a rematch for Garcia, yes, why not, if the money is right then Cruz can have it.

I don't think there's a rematch because they haven't fought each other yet. I double-checked Pitbull's record on BoxRec and I didn't see Ryan Garcia listed as one of his previous opponents. His 3 losses were against Jose Valenzuela, Gervonta Davis, and Luis Montano Alvarez. He currently has a record of 28 wins and 3 losses.

Sorry my bad, I was thinking of Rolly Romero. And just a quick update on this fight,

Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) announced that Ramos, who was scheduled to defend his interim WBC 160-pound title, fell ill on Thursday evening and was taken to a hospital in the San Diego area for treatment. The promotion also announced that Ramos was released on Friday morning and that his fight against Nursultanov will be rescheduled for a later date.

And then our very own Eumir Marcial fight against  Omar Ulises Huerta, has been moved to the under card. It's supposedly a non-televised fight, so it's a blessing for Marcial to be seen so he should take advantage of this exposure.

I only watched short highlights of Bravo's fight, and his stance somehow reminded me of Juanma's. I'm not sure if they really share the same fighting stance, but the guy seems to have the movements to effectively throw counters and powerful straights and hooks at Pitbull while maintaining a good distance. Could be effective if a powerful counter would penetrate Pitbull's solid defense every time he throws and misses.

So it really looked like an easy fight for Pitbull. Now the speculated fight with Ryan Garcia could happen in December or January. Same here, I just saw some videos are read the commentaries. And it was said, that Bravo plays dirty, point deducted from him for low ball and then throwing Cruz in the canvass. I guess that's one strategy he thinks that he can win against Cruz here.

Nevertheless, as majority might have expected from Pitbull, he knockouts Bravo in the 6th round. It was a big left hand as obviously, Bravo is not going up from that huge punch from Isaac Cruz. Not sure if Ryan is interested on him, but the better option for Cruz is to wait the winner of the new WBC champion Dalton Smith vs former champion Albert Puello.

After this match, I have no desire to see Pitbull against Ryan Garcia. It’s probably a long shot, but Pitbull is trying to keep hope alive so that he can make a nice payday. This wasn’t an impressive performance at all. Ryan should focus on Teofimo, Haney and maybe even Rolly if he wants to stay active before the Teofimo fight.

Now if Ryan wins, then that's the time he could face Teofimo, which I think Ryan can still win. What I see in Ryan now is that he has already matured and is getting smarter inside the ring.

The alias 'Pitbull,' is enough to put fear into the mind of Nestor with possibly a KO looming. You outrightly noted the bias in picks but it's all business and publicity at the end of the day and am sure if Nestor drags on onto maybe 10th round, without a TKO or KO, then he's actually a worthy opponent.
Despite height advantage of Nestor, it might not be enough to stop the Pitbull from landing heavy body shots on him as we have seen with elite boxers like Mike Tyson beating down those taller than him. So height advantage is practically useless without technique or aggression and that's why Pitbull is the better favorite here.

Bravo had a size and reach advantages and even some power but he didn’t look comfortable at all under the pressure and physicality that Isaac Pitbull brought that fight.
Nestor bravo obviously hasn’t fought big names the way pitbull has and so he’s definitely not very used to the pressure that comes with fighting in a championship fight.

Championship fights especially against a pressure/volume boxer like Isaac Cruz is on a whole different level than regional and mid level bouts, and Bravo’s prior opposition simply didn’t prepare for that level of intensity and stakes so i already knew Pitbull was gonna win.

Valid suggestion by the way, that’s if the goal is to keep Isaac Cruz sharp still before jumping up to fight Ryan; it would be more like a stay busy fight or step up fight rather than another interim defense fight, and it sure would give Cruz recent rounds against a top level pressure fighter before he potentially goes on to deal with Garcia’s length and speed at 147.

There’s no assurance that Garcia VS Pitbull Cruz is gonna happen, for now it’s still all talk; these type of call outs tend to heat up fast and cool down just as fast once the money, dates and catchweight talk starts.

But if they do set up the fight, i think Cruz has the advantage of beating Ryan, i mean I’d bet my money on it; i wasn’t too impressed with Ryan’s win over Conor and i still think he’s a flat footed and one dimensional fighter, he just got lucky with Conor.

Just to add to the fact that he's durable, we can't deny the fact that we as boxing fans always want action, and Pitbull gives it to us because of his playstyle which is just going forward and forward. He's not the same as Conor Benn, but we saw how Pitbull ALMOST defeated Tank Davis. What's also good about Pitbull is that even though he has that aggressive kind of playstyle, he hasn't been knocked down in his whole pro career as well which just shows how durable he is.

Call-outs always happened after fights, and since Ryan is a hot item now, many boxers are calling him out. If the fight is going to happen, it should be on a catch weight. No way Ryan is going to agree to come down; he knows that he is good at the weight, where he is the champion.
Ryan issued a statement that he offered to fight Pitbull twice and was declined, but Pitbull wants him now, so it's really up to the promoters and their camps. This is a very interesting fight if it happens.

Thanks for this info bro, i just know now that they have offered Pitbull Cruz to fight Ryan Garcia years ago. I don't know why the camp of Pitbull has not accepted this fight as the purse is big enough to him. Anyways, this Cruz vs Garcia might come to fruition this December as Ryan Garcia as accepted the challenge of Pitbull, the only thing that will be discuss here is the weight and the money that Pitbull will receive but definitely this would be the highest he will get in his career.
