Can a Frozen TRON Address Still Receive TRX?

I am not getting the case. One of my known people came to me a few days back with a trust wallet where there was over $4K USDT on Tron. He failed to transfer the USDT and came to me. I don’t know how he gained the funds or how he gained access to the wallet. I see there is no Tron for the gas fee. I advised him to get some Tron for the gas fee, and he transferred two times.

But the problem is the address hasn't been received even two times. On the chain it's confirmed, but on the wallet address it’s zero. I check myself and will include the transaction link as well. Then I was quite surprised; I haven’t faced that kind of issue before. On the other hand, I advised him to withdraw other coins that exist on the same wallet. But there is an error. Then I assumed that would be a multisig wallet.

But I am not getting why the address is not receiving the funds. Then I tried to send Tron from my Binance, and Binance showed me a warning about the address; it’s about a scam address. Then I assumed probably the Tron address has been frozen for USDT. But I am curious why the address can’t accept Tron when it’s confirmed on the TronScan.

Let’s assume the address owner is a scammer and the funds are frozen. Also, assume it’s a multi-sign wallet, although I am not sure about it. But why hasn't Tron been receiving the address?

This sound like a sweeper bot type of scam..

You transfer the transaction fees to move the funds but you cannot do that because owner permissions is given to another address. See warning on top:

If you also go to the transfers tab, you'll see that as soon as the TRX hits the address it's sent somewhere else (same address). It also has multiple tron transactions so not clear as to why you wouldn't be able to send funds there from a non custodial wallet.

If you did not see the transaction on the history page on Trust wallet, this bug is not something new on the close source wallet. There were people that complained to me about Trust wallet in the past about their the coin received and sent not seen on the history page.

But I know Trust wallet do display on the wallet that the wallet is a scam wallet. It is best not to proceed anything because the wallet is truly multisig and we all know about how the scam work on this forum.

Basically from the explanations so far this case of a sweeper wallet is actually different from the case of a frozen wallet. Before now I was thinking it was related to some sort of multisig configuration where only the scammer actually has the complete keys required to send.

Anyways as for the case of frozen wallets, I was also of the opinion initially that mostly government involvement is what really instigates wallet freezing can someone clarify this is right?

Maybe you are looking at the wrong tab?
Frozen or not, a tron address will still receive the funds. What is frozen is the ability to spend the received funds/funds in the address. However i think your case is that very old multi-sig scam on tron addresses. What they are waiting for is the small amounts people keep sending to cover transaction fees so they can try to move out the USDT which they won't be able to even move out.
