China’s dominance in various sports is truly remarkable. And yes, whatever methods they employ are certainly worth emulating by other countries if they wish to achieve the same level of progress as China in the field of sports. they excel not just in one or two sports, but in nearly all of them.
However, South Korea, Japan, and Thailand are also making rapid progress. Still, the number of gold medals China has managed to win is truly on a whole different level. My country, Indonesia, actually seems to be lagging a bit when it comes to discovering athletic talent across various sports; we only excel in a few disciplines, one of which is badminton.
When we talk of asian games, I knew before the start that China will dominate in largely in everything, because when their is Olympics, they are the only one up there competing with the US and other great nations that has that history of competing very well in the competition, so am not too surprised by their dominance so far in the Asian games. As it stands it's a matter of which team will be second after them, because i don't think any team that will get as much medals as the Chinese in this asian games going on.
