Someone who wants to send money to another person without exposing his true identity will not mind if the price of bitcoin has been thesame for the past 20 years. His major concern will be to protect his identity. This is something that he cannot do with fiat, so in terms of anonymity, bitcoin will still have an edge over fiat and it will still be valued for this reason.

But ofcourse we know that bitcoin price can never stay thesame after that long,  volatility is still one of bitcoin's strength.

It's not all about clean energy. Some countries don't generate enough electricity to power Bitcoin mining. Ethiopia has cut electricity supply to Bitcoin miners by 75% because of power shortages. The country depends on hydroelectric reservoirs, and declining water inflows now threaten the national electricity supply. Kazakhstan also took thesame move because of constant national grid collapse. Bitcoin mining creates jobs and increases goverment revenue through tax and licence fees. But the goverment has other sectors they will prioritise for electricity supply.

That is the fault of the governments of the two countries that you mentioned. Bitcoin miners are paying for electricity as long as it is not illegal mining.

Paying for electricity means you are contributing to the electricity sector in the country as the electricity workers depend on your payment.

People do not really talk about bitcoin mining consuming electricity anymore when they have seen AI using more electricity. AI data centres makes electricity costlier.

I'd say if price stayed same for 10 years I'd still consider Bitcoin valuable. For me it's because its not just an investment it's an
alternative to save your money and to be able to access it without  worries of too many procedures in getting your own funds, unlike our local banks where you'll stand in queue just to get your money.

I think it is ONE of the biggest strengths, along with the fact that it does have borderless transactions and limited supply, and that is one of the most important things a lot of people see and encouraged them to hold Bitcoin.

Nah, there's no way the price stays exactly where it is right now in the next 10 years. Just like what I menioned above, innovations and continued progress, as well as the limited supply, will keep Bitcoin's value moving forward. So, yeah Bitcoin is still valuable in the next 10 years.

Bitcoin has been treated more as an asset than a currency to spend daily. Many people do not see bitcoin remaining valuable again when the price can no longer go up. No one will invest in an asset that will not increase in price, they will most definitely leave it and invest their money into other assets that will bring them big return in the future. You should read what the most active members and users (most important) have been saying for years. Price is of course the first thing most people use to define BTC but that is not a feature but a result of the actual strengths below it.

1 BTC is always 1 BTC if people are able to do many things: invest and hold, don't trade; secure their bitcoin safely with time. Because if they can not secure their Bitcoin wallets and bitcoins, they will lose 1 BTC with time and security incident like a hack. If they can not maintain their discipline for investment, stop holding and starting to use bitcoin for trading or gambling, they will lose that 1 BTC with time and trading.

If they can not hold their bitcoin a long time, profit will not be too good. For example if they bought in bull market and managed to hold their bitcoin till a bear market, like first one bearish year, then lost their patience and sold their coins, they will have loss.

Yes, since the invention of Bitcoin, it has not only survived because of its price, but the big unique reason behind its survival is the decentralization of Bitcoin. If Bitcoin survives for ages, it will survive because of this decentralization. Since it cannot be controlled by a third party, it will not disappear easily. Again, there is no inflation in Bitcoin, which is another unique quality where other assets or currencies have inflation. If Bitcoin stayed exactly where it is (price stagnation)for the next 10 years, I still consider Bitcoin valuable.  The reason why I think Bitcoin can still be considered valuable is its boundless features without any intermediaries.  As a medium of exchange, having no boundary where it can be used globally is a huge attraction for people.  Adding a feature that no third party is needed to execute the transfer is another reason.

People being able to freely transact globally is the biggest strength of Bitcoin, IMHO.

Bitcoin is not limited to price chart. Some of its features will always make Bitcoin valuable. Since Bitcoin is a decentralized currency, people will trust it throughout their lives. The financial freedom that users get from using Bitcoin cannot be found anywhere else.
