Anyone of those who have an EVM wallet will already have experienced similar, which you definitely do not need to get rid of from your wallet, if you use Trustwallet simply manage hide $0.1 balance and NFT tokens. Trustwallet has this kind of feature: https://x.com/TrustWallet/status/1912454661656715529Yeah, I also received them a lot in my wallet, some are gotten from airdrop I participated in and so are snapshots of free tokens gotten and some are scam tokens as well. Op has to know that, there is no option to delete or get rid of those coins the disabled (OFF/hide) smal balance option is available in Trust wallet, that's what OP needs to do. They come up again if you reimport to keys to another wallet, while disabling them is the way forward.

Once you make your wallet address public through applications submission and Airdrop hunting, you will get such unsolicited coins getting dumped on your wallet, dust transactions from those wallet spammers are use to bait the owner of those wallet into phishing hacks, you better be careful and avoid any instructions you may get to connect your wallet to any contract address, if not you lose your own original assets in that wallet to those scammers.

It seems that most types of wallets are susceptible to receiving these kinds of fake tokens. They are actually part of a scam, and there are several varieties. Some are fake tokens created to resemble specific coins, differing by only a single letter or character. It is or even sharing nearly identical tickers and logos. Others are specifically designed to link to phishing sites. These usually aim to exploit the wallet owner's curiosity, prompting them to open the token. TrustWallet has actually explained this issue previously. fake tokens also this does not only happen to TrustWallet. But also other wallets Beware

MetaMask has more fake tokens sent to addresses than Trust Wallet. There is nothing for you to do, allow them to sit in the wallet as dead tokens. You can change address, move the tokens with value to a different address, but it is only temporary, as the new address can also receive dead tokens.

This is actually quite common with crypto wallets. Anyone can send tokens or NFTs to your public address without having access to your wallet.
Scammers can find your address because blockchain transactions are public. They often send fake tokens/NFTs as bait, hoping you will interact with them or visit a malicious website.
The safest thing is simply to ignore or hide unknown tokens/NFTs. Don't try to swap, sell, claim, or approve them.
Unfortunately, you can't prevent someone from sending tokens to a public address, and you can't remove those transactions from the blockchain.
What you should check instead is whether you have any suspicious token/NFT approvals or unknown dApp connections. Receiving a random token by itself does not mean your wallet has been compromised.

Sending of fake shitcoins to people's wallets is a common scam trick that have been in existence for years, and I think it was possible for scammers to sent those fake shitcoins to your wallet because of the platforms you interact your wallet with in the past which you couldn't possibly remember now. Your wallet address is already exposed to receiving such fake shitcoins and there's nothing you can do to stop it, and don't try sending those fake shitcoins to another wallet because you will end up sending gas fee to the scammers that sent those fake shitcoins to your wallet and the shitcoins will still remain in your wallet because that's the reason they were sent to your wallet.

Is been a while i used Trustwallet but I tried to go through my wallet by scanning through the explorer to know what coin I have on my wallet as most of them are not displaying, when I check it happened that there are some shitcoin or fake coin that got into my wallet through transaction or swap back then, and I have been wondering how this where possible for them to send it and how were they able to have my address to send me such fake coin. On trustwallet app, most of them I see it as NFT on the wallet but I have been thinking what could be the best way to get rid of those shitcoin on my address.
Any alternative to stop this coming to my address if a transaction occurs on my wallet? Thus because of this I stopped using Trustapp since it is said to be close source wallet.
It's definitely not an issue with with Trust wallet. If you are receiving some random coins on your address it's probably someone trying to dust attack on your address. They do this to keep a track of addresses which are having balances and are active. It's possible with any blockchain network and has happened quite a few times with me on the Ethereum network.

It should be a token because you said, most of them says it's NFT so just sending random tokens to the available addresses and if you have entered it on anywhere on the interent then it is possible for someone to use it right.
I choose an option hide balance if it values zero that avoids most of them.

Some people are greedy that’s why they end up getting scammed sometimes, some people are always looking for free things. Immediately they receive the coin in their wallet, they are always thinking it’s a free money, and they will rush to swap the coin. If you are in crypto space, don’t always expect free things, whenever they tell you that something is free, make sure you stay away from it, or at least make you proper do your research first before involving yourself in it. If you receive a free coin in your wallet, just allow it to stay in your wallet, don’t even make attempt to swap it.

Whose wallets are publicly available or those who use DEXs to swap are likely to receive scam tokens.
In active wallets, scammers definitely do these things in an attempt to scam people. They easily get the opportunity to send fake tokens to the wallet, if someone falls into their trap, they empty the wallet of that user. There is no way to stop them from doing this, moreover, in any case, if spam messages or fake messages come to everyone's inbox without researching them, I think there is no problem if you ignore those. In the case of wallets, it is most logical to take the same measures.
If someone tries to withdraw those fake tokens due to ignorance and connects their own wallet to a DEX or a phishing site, then they will definitely lose the assets they have.

I have been wondering how this where possible for them to send it and how were they able to have my address to send me such fake coin.
Hacker or shitcoin promoter use script or bot to scrape thousand of active wallet address from explorer in single second. If you have ever used any DEX, like PancakeSwap or Uniswap or performed transaction then your address gets added to their bot list. They will lure you by claiming that fake token worth $50000 have arrived in your wallet. Whenever you go to any DEX to swap or sell these, or visit their website to Claim them, they will ask for Smart Contract approval from you. As soon as you grant approval, it will drain all the actual funds from your wallet. Often, dusting attack are also carried out. They send tiny amount of coin to track who owns the wallet and whether you are transferring them elsewhere.

When we think about it, it's crazy how these botters could scrape thousands of active wallet frequently, I bet the cost would be massive. It doesn't even need us to use any DEX, a withdrawal from CEX and 2 minutes later there is shitcoins populating the addresses and it's not only 2 or 3, the are usually more than 30 shitcoin sent to our addresses. That kind of systemic widespread scamming scheme must've been operated by an organization and not by an individual and I keep getting address poisoning attack not only from an address but multiple address at one time which means there are multiple organization has been running the scam around the world.

Getting such fake tokens or NFTs are normal in crypto cause wallet addresses are public. So anyone or any organization can find out the address and can send any shitcoins without taking owner's permission. Even I've hundreds of such shitcoins in ny wallet address but it's wise to simply ignore those. If you try to analysis about those shitcoins or is someone try to swap or sell to check the price then it may create more risk of getting scam. So simply ignore them and don't visit any unwanted link to connect wallet anywhere just to have some free coins. Nothing is free actually and most free coins are shitcoins.
