Bitcoin's market price can fall dramatically, even while inflation is high. Research and financial institutions have noted that Bitcoin's relationship with inflation is not strong enough to call it a reliable inflation hedge.
It was never meant to react directly to inflation from inception.  Inflation is mostly regional and circumstantial while bitcoin demands on a more vast and unique indicators that are not always dependent on these things.

If you're investing in bitcoin for the sake of long term gain, inflation might be an issue and the price of bitcoin might equally be down but because you're not selling, you will still hold on to your asset through those times such that you won't still be at a loss. The way bitcoin protect people during inflation is by allowing people convert Thier fiat to bitcoin and holding it through times of inflation so Thier funds don't get eaten by inflation.

If you cannot hold for long, you don’t need to invest in Bitcoin if you are just using it to avoid inflation because the price movement within short period of time cannot solve you problem sufficiently.
Everyone buying bitcoin have different perspectives in mind, some are buying to fight inflation and at the same time for little appreciation, while others are securing bitcoin for long term purposes. Both parties are not entirely doing the wrong thing, a person buying bitcoin to fight inflation should not be considered a bad investor because in due time, there could be a change of mind to fully invest in bitcoin for long term.

Bitcoin investment is not a forced practice, it should be done with total understanding of the market movement within a specific time range with certain expectations within that period, it should not be done under duress.

You will definitely get proof of how inflation happens, you deposit fiat currency in the bank and after a few years determine its value and go to the market and prove it. And you deposit Bitcoin with the same amount of money and hold it for a long time then you receive the benefit.
You prove whether Bitcoin can be more profitable or you can be more profitable by storing fiat currency, only Bitcoin will be the best because its value will definitely increase more and it plays the most effective role against inflation.

You see the comparison becomes even more significant when you focus more on the purchasing power rather than simply the amount of money held. Yes, it’s true that inflation can make fiat lose purchasing power over time, but there’s also no guarantee that Bitcoin would increase or rise within that speculated period of time either, because Bitcoin is a very volatile asset and price can go from this to this at the time you least expect, especially when it’s during the short term. So the most important thing here is understanding the difference between protecting purchasing power and simply taking on an asset with its own risks too, that way you’ll be able to make a more logical choice.
Inflation has is actually about purchasing power. If a particular amount can buy same commodity after many years or after a period, then inflation is non existent. Bitcoin bridges the inflation gap by rising up to the  current price of a  particular commodity or even higher. Even though it is not certain that bitcoin will rise at the end of the period or whether it will dip further, it is still riskier to save money in fiat because based on history, bitcoin has performed better when compared to fiats

Inflation is continuous and so is bitcoin, volatility makes it possible to rise and fall and over a period of time, bitcoin seems to have crossed a particular low, which is why long term holding of bitcoin is always the best. You don't have to limit your investments, you should have a plan of holding for at least 4 to 10 years because that's when you can consider your self an investor. The longer you hold, the better and the shorter you hold your bitcoin, the easier or the higher chances of losing because it becomes like a trade/short term trade.

Sincerely, you are right bitcoin is the best and suitable assets that go against this inflation and saves it holders even if the inflation rate is high because it doesn’t just lose value drastically over time just like fiat.  Bitcoin has limited supply and only 21 million can exit and none is getting created beyond that supply limit.
Probably he hasn’t glance through the price of bitcoin today because if he had then he would noticed that we are in bullish movement right now because the price rise a lot today. Bitcoin has been of a positive help to us against this inflation because if we solely think of relying on fiat, then we will just keep complaining anytime the inflation goes higher.

The price of bitcoin just shot up to $87k. Even though right now the price has dragged down back to $84k but it did touch $87k.
The thing is, some people don't realize the fact that bitcoin is here to stay and hence it has room to grow.
Sooner or later it does rise easily beats inflation and also grows our portfolio and so investing bitcoin is like having a goldmine right now.

Bitcoin is said to be a hedge against inflation, and that's not just a claim; it's based on Bitcoin's price history, which has increased over time. Don't look at it in the short term, but you need to look at it in the long term because short-term price movements can be volatile and may not reflect its performance as a long-term asset. But if you look at it in the long run, you can see that Bitcoin's price tends to go up. If you want proof, you can check out this picture:

Those who doubt that Bitcoin cannot or is not worth fighting inflation are basically short-term thinkers or those who have invested in Bitcoin for the short term and have suffered losses due to volatility. Because I completely agree with what you said. If we look at the market from the past of Bitcoin to the present, we will see that every person has benefited a lot by investing in Bitcoin and Bitcoin has become one of the best assets to fight inflation.

Many people may say that they will invest in gold, yes they can invest in gold, but Bitcoin has become a much better asset than gold at present and if a person invests in Bitcoin, he will definitely benefit much more than gold if he is able to hold it in the long term.

Most people that do doubt Bitcoin as a tool against inflation only consider short-term price movement, they don't usually look it in a long run because if they decide to look at it in a long run, they will know the truth and also know that no investment has goven more profits than Bitcoin investment in a long term since Bitcoin was created.
It is not too late to invest in Bitcoin because it is an investment that stores value, and holding for a long period of time will also give profit; the value it maintains is the reason why it always defeats inflation.

The main strong point of Bitcoin it it uptrending market value.  If the uptrending market value diminishes then it is true that Bitcoin hedge agains inflation will be weaken.

Even though research and financial institutions have noted that its relation to being a reliable inflation hedge is not strong enough, we cannot deny the fact that the history of Bitcoin price has already safeguarded the value of money of people who converted their fiat currency into  Bitcoin from the year 2021 and earlier.  It even gives these people huge profits.

They are forgetting about it whenever the price of bitcoin slumps, they'll have to zoom out the charts to remind them that there's an upward trend for it in the long run.

While metric of it is the price and that's the majority of us looking at it, it's easier for those who don't understand it to analyze of how it is doing.

And that line graph going upwards speaks for itself on how the trend goes despite that we've been in several bear markets and other financial market corrections, it's still doing better than most of them.

If the inflation of fiat currency increase and its purchasing power decreases, it will have a positive impact on the price of Bitcoin. You generally think that if the value of your country's fiat currency continues to decrease, then you will naturally keep such assets as savings whose value will remain the same or increase in the future. This thinking can be found in the logic holding gold.

In the same way those who think more deeply and naturally accept the volatility of prices they start holding Bitcoin. The value of fiat currency will continue to decrease over time all over the world. It is not possible to control inflation. And the concept of controlling inflation by the government basically means where inflation will increase but not in huge percentage.

No government of a country can ever say that they have brought the inflation rate down to 0%. Because it is not possible in any way. But due to the fixed supply of Bitcoin, inflation is not there and it is working against inflation. So as the value of fiat currency continues to decline and its acceptability decreases, people will actually continue to accept Bitcoin and the price of Bitcoin will continue to increase.

USA have printed a lot of cash and they continue to do it. And whenever they do it, we'll notice that the price also bumps for Bitcoin.

If there's not that strong reason to hold bitcoin then what they think is the best hedge for it? The price continues to grow despite that some corrections do happen which is normal.

They don't teach that in schools and even in institutions that holding bitcoin right now is the best way to protect our money from inflation.

What they want to do is to deposit your money in the banks and let them earn from it and they'll distribute you with the little interest rate they offer which is even lower than the inflation rate.

The 4-10 years time horizon can indeed help to reduce the pressure of short term market volatility/fluctuations, but we also need to understandb that time alone doesn’t automatically make an investment safe. Another important thing is whether the investor is also willing to HODL through major market downturns without being forced or tempted to sell or liquidate their holdings. One way to make sure this doesn’t happen is to approach investment with a realistic plan/expectation and also to invest with money they’re willing and ready to lose and can leave untouched for a very long time.

Investment itself means long term but if people have more details about Bitcoin ROIs for long term holding and minimum holding time for profit, they will have more knowledge and stronger belief, then can make their investment plan and do it better.

Two sites can help them
Min holding time https://hodl.camp/
Bitcoin ROI in past years http://casebitcoin.com/

Investment is not easy because market does not rise up in a steady upward line, with corrections, pull backs, crashes that make people panic and possibly change their plans. Investment becomes more easily and comfortably if people know about these valuable information about investment and holding.

While you may be right, We should also be careful about viewing historical ROI as a kind of a promise of future returns. Knowing Bitcoin’s historical value, crashes and long holding periods can actually help an investor understand and prepare themselves emotionally and financially for future volatility. And that’s just all there is, but these historical data doesn’t in any way guarantee that the future would also take the same turn, so whatever we do, we should always keep our fingers crossed and expect every possible outcome, but still allowing the past performances offer some kind of guide so we know what we may likely expect in the future.

The price of BTC always fluctuates, and of course, many people are reluctant to invest their money in BTC for fear of losing money, ultimately resulting in losses rather than profits. However, in my opinion, if someone wants to protect their money from inflation and invests in BTC, they should hold it for the long term. Holding it only for the short term carries the potential for losses

I have personally experienced the effects of holding BTC, although it hasn't been for 10 years, but I have already felt the impact of holding money in BTC, which is not affected by inflation. At that time, I bought BTC for under $20,000. Certainly, those who have held their money in BTC longer than me and haven't sold their BTC are certainly benefiting more, and their money has certainly not been affected by inflation, but has instead earned substantial profits

Bitcoin is not money like fiat money, it is an investment asset. If you invest somewhere, there will be a risk of profit and loss. Same is the case with Bitcoin. If you invest in Bitcoin, you can make a lot of profit, but if you sell at the wrong time, you will lose. Talking about my country, the inflation rate is 9-12% which is 36-48% in 4 years, but if I invest in Bitcoin for 1 cycle, say for 4 years, then I can expect 2-3x profit from it. If that happens, I will be able to cope with inflation as well as generate good profit which the bank is not able to give me. But there is definitely a risk in this province, so you have to consider that risk too. The bank's profit is able to cope with inflation, so it can be dealt with by holding Bitcoin. But you must accept the risk.

From your perception, you're right, But...Since the price of Bitcoin is not stable, it can't be say that bitcoin will protect people from inflation...The price of Bitcoin changes, it appreciate unexpectedly and it also decreases unexpectedly..so bitcoin can't be say it’s a completely inflation proof...

A coin that gain value from zero to six figures is not inflation proof? I can believe you said that. If Bitcoin is not a relaible inflation hedge then why do people use it for that purpose, last time i checked i barely see where people are advised against using Bitcoin as an inflation hedge infact that's one of the reasons people adopt Bitcoin for incase you don't know.

Volatility has never been a hinderance to the progress of Bitcoin, there's no doubt that the price fluctuates and sometimes drops so low but it undergoes correction and surges again, or are you among those who thinks that Bitcoin would not pass this current all time high? I could remember that people doubt it would reach 100k but it got to 125k so rethink your statement.
