Having three jobs would help you secure your financial future. The only downside is that you'll have less time to spend in life. You won't be able to focus on yourself or have fun, since most of the time will be spent working. I believe this is not healthy. But if you manage to spare time after thrice as much work, there should be nothing to worry about. This is the price to pay for reckless government spending and uncertain foreign policies. The US is the main contributor of such economic chaos worldwide. Things were starting to get well even with the Russo-Ukraine and Israel-Hamas crises.

Yea, working 3 jobs will definitely leave you with almost no time for yourself and while it's understandable for someone to choose to work 3 jobs for survival, I don't think it is anything anyone would wish on themselves because asides the pay you get from the Jobs, what else is there plus you have to neglect leisure time for yourselves because you are probably working when others are on vacation or so. The government in my own country are equally responsible for any adult that's choses to work 3 jobs just for survival because ideally with a working government and country, I don't think anyone is meant to be put through such stress just to barely make the dat

3 jobs or similar ideas can only really work if they are very close to you or you can freelance from home in some way.   I guess there are people out there juggling this much work and who rarely go home for more then to briefly sleep but that's not a real life to live.
Its an emergency situation more then a proper ongoing working reality, an economy cant really continue like that.

Well, in today's reality, that is no longer the case.

Its been absent for many people 20 years or more since the 90's pretty much.   Some might have been lucky to be in legacy industries or companies but overall volatility has been rising consistently for many years.

I do not believe that with such an outcome people will be provided with basic assistance. Even strong economies cannot cope with high unemployment rates, let alone weak ones. I live in Ukraine, and the economy of my country is in a catastrophic state. And this is not only because of the war; there are so many factors that it is already impossible to determine the most influential ones. And I don't have the slightest illusion that the state will take care of its citizens if the unemployment rate becomes critical. Here, throughout all ages, people survived on their own; one could not rely on state institutions. But even if we don't take such extreme examples, even in countries with traditionally high living standards, it will be extremely difficult to cope with the problems that the modern world is facing.
I even get a nervous tic whenever I hear about the state providing help during difficult times.

Personally, it has always left me to fend for myself. During the COVID pandemic, they didn’t throw a single penny my way—not even enough to buy food to survive. Since then, I’ve become even more firmly convinced that the state is the very last entity you should ever count on.

While other countries were handing out "helicopter money" to their citizens, the Russian authorities deemed such a measure excessive. How, then, am I supposed to feel about the government? For me, it has ceased to exist—once and for all. These are scoundrels who, sooner or later, will face retribution. If not in this life, then certainly in the next. I truly believe that.

Well, we should understand that as an employee of any company, you are actually under their own authority, and decision, and whatever decision the company make the employees must abide whether you are comfortable with it or not.
There are reasons why companies can layoff workers which as an employee you cannot question such decision. Sometimes company can layoff workers to reduce cost, when they feel they are spending much money on their employees, they layoff some workers for them to be able to carry comfortably the responsibility of the remaining workers, workers layoff could also be as a result of new management coming into partnership or probably the company has been sold, so the new management will probably come up with a new policy that might result to workers layout.
However, if one is opportune to work in a big company with big salary package, is an advantage to build yourself, you can even build your o n company from there, and decide to resign before time. Many have built their own company this way, and become their own employer, but when you want to spend your formative years with a company because you are well paid, this is not wrong anyway, but you will pay yourself more when you esterblish your own company. Besides you as an employee cannot determine the future of the company, and if eventually the company fails when already you have placed all your hope there, you as an employee have also failed.

Sometimes we can't rely on the government, because it sometimes doesn't live up to our expectations. Right now, my country is experiencing forest fires, but what is the government doing? They seem to be ignoring it, and one example is the failure to declare it a national disaster. Yet the impact is far-reaching, with smoke from the fires spreading far and wide, and it's even reportedly spreading to other countries. What are officials doing? I can't say anything else, because even local officials are throwing parties.

As civil servants in a country like this, we can only pray and support those who have the power to take action. Even now, what we see is citizens helping citizens through donation drives.

With what you have just said it simply means that money is not everything, a lot of people usually have ambition and putting yourself in a very difficult situation just to achieve that usually cause a lot of harm than good. Working three times a day is just that you are overstressing your body, because when will you have time to rest, sometimes it is not all about getting money but your life is also very important, meaning there are certain things which you need to fulfill for your body such like resting to avoid collapse of your body.

I always think of one thing when it comes to making money to my family, I make sure that I put myself in a very good condition because it is always difficult for people that you are caring for to continue to assist you whenever you are done.

The problem is (at least my problem is) that when you live in absolutely unpredictable conditions, both financially and generally in life, you kind of don't have a "legitimate right" to rest. Personally, that's what I think about myself. I simply can't get proper rest or distract myself from everything, because I don't perceive it as earned rest. I constantly think about what I haven't done, what I don't have (often not my fault at all), and it feels to me like it's just stupid to waste time on rest when I'm actually supposed to be working. And it turns out that rest is accompanied by a constant feeling of guilt because the work is unstable and you can't count on anything at all.

Witnessing huge layoffs from employment giants like PayPal, Dell and Uber, something is definitely has definitely change in the job space that's not talked of as  much..

Surely there should be a goal shift, candy how careers should be seen. A shift from finding a company that can keep you for 20-30 years, to building skills, relationship and financial independence that can remain valuable when one becomes disposable.

I believe we shouldn't be afraid of the changes AI technologies are bringing to our lives. Because life is always changing, and we change with it, even if we don't want to. Look at how many people have adapted to AI and are using it to make everyday tasks easier. For example, I remember another case where he had to pass a fire safety test at work. Instead of spending hours studying the theoretical part, he simply turned on Gemini and pointed it at the computer screen, and the AI then ordered the answers for him. This didn't make my friend a bad specialist; it simply saved him from unnecessary memorization.

There was a time when a saying was very common in our society that if you get a good job, your life will be settled. But in the current situation, it is foolish to consider a job as the safest shelter. Those of you who consider a job as a safe shelter are probably not paying attention to the changes around you. Why am I saying this? If you calculate it realistically, the matter becomes quite clear. The increment in your job at the end of the year is around 5% to 8%, the price of market goods and the cost of living are increasing at a rate of 15% to 20%. Earlier, a family used to live on $100, now it is difficult to live on $300 to $400. In other words, even if the salary increases on paper, this happens because the cost of daily life increases.

So won't people work? Of course they will, but in my opinion, it is not right to consider it the only recourse. Jobs should be used as a means of creating capital. You can temporarily run a household by selling your time to another company, but financial security only comes from your own self-created assets and multiple sources of income.

I don't really agree with this, because in the exact same way, financial security can be provided by a high-paying job plus equity. And if you don't spend everything down to zero, but save and invest a portion of your savings, you can feel great and even better than in the scenario of having your own business. Because salaried employment is good precisely because it doesn't heap the responsibility for absolutely everything onto you. You are responsible for a certain area, but you aren't burdened with thoughts about how to pay a salary to yourself, let alone your employees.
