Stake casino last I checked is fully KYCed since January 2025, which kyc is what the op is not comfortable with.

Most the casino do say that they are not kyc but when there is a huge winning you would see them demanding for additional verification to prove the origin of the funds. Meanwhile, during deposit they wouldn't ask for such verification till when the said gambler wins something big.

That's very true. False advertising is something that bothers me a lot and shouldn't exist, but from the beginning, some sites do mention it. They only mention it if they see that an activity is suspicious, but when they want, the suspicious activity appears. There are no criteria for determining the level of suspicion.

Furthermore, those who decide to go to a casino that doesn't have KYC are going down that risky path, and the fact that they later require KYC is the easiest part of that risky path. The worst part is that they get scammed.

And how they handled this was for the guy to first drop a wrong suggestion, which was that stake being the best choice, and I debunked it, only for them to come back and edit the post and add their real intention when those who saw the first comment will no longer notice the scam that have been posted, that was smart of them but unfortunately they still get caught.

We have to be aware of it because it may happen sometime in other ways and it would still be for them.

They seem to know how to do it from time to time or whenever they'd like to do it.

Anyways, the thing is every non KYC casinos will eventually go full KYC compliance, it's necessary for them to do this if they don't want any problem with the regulators, don't blame them.

Things are changing and online crime is also increasing, people are using casinos to wash their dirty money, they are using online casinos to move their illegal money, there is no way you will avoid KYC verification very soon.

It is not a new thing to encounter such incidents, when a gambler wins a large sum of money at a casino and goes to withdraw that money, the casino asks the gambler to provide additional personal information. Sometimes the gambler does not want to provide personal information intentionally because the gambler has doubts about how safe it will be to provide the additional personal information to the casino, due to which the gambler does not feel comfortable providing additional information. This is probably a method of the casino, they do not ask the gamblers for KYC in the beginning but ask them to complete KYC when withdrawing large amounts of money from the casino, which is absolutely not right.

Hurt people, are they not just doing and carrying out orders based on what regulators demand from them? I mean for the casino which are fair to customers, if not for how common hacking is now, casinos, asking for KYC is almost the same thing as us submitting the document to other government-approved platforms. If a casino tells me they ask for kc from the start us left for me to follow them up or not, but I can't be afraid of it since I have already filled KYC in other platforms its typically same risk.

You're right, but they also have this thing mentioned in their terms and conditions, it's just that most gamblers don't read through the terms and conditions before they join a platform and start using it, which is the reason why they later start complaining. If you are joining a platform, you should at least first confirm things that you either like or dislike, so that you can make the final decision without having to get into trouble later on.

Deposits should only be made once it is confirmed that the platform doesn't or wouldn't ask for KYC in any case. One can also confirm this from their support before making a deposit, because you don't need to make a deposit to have access to their customer support.

@OP, I would also suggest SwC poker if you are looking for a complete no-KYC poker platform. I have used it in the past, and never had any problems with withdrawals or even deposits. BTC is the primary source of funds in it, but you can also deposit using other coins and tokens. It might not have a very large user base, but there are at least 100 or more users active most of the time.

Yeah to me it just seems like an easy way to justify a money grab. They lure them into the trap with the key while the door is locked from the inside and then once they make a killing they are pretty much screwed. It doesn't seem right to me at all.

Another important thing about asking for KYC is when it was requested. An honest casino will reveal to users about KYC is before they will proceed into funding their account, at least people will be aware of what they're signing up for. The issue will only start when someone plays normally, win their game and is only requested to submit documents when he or she attempts to make withdrawal.

When this happens it might seem like an unexpected problem that the player was not prepared for, even though the casino has a valid reason for requesting for KYC. For me it's not just the KYC itself, it's how clear and straightforward the process is.

Why would you assume that "no kyc" services wouldn't lock your funds? Because if you win big, do you think that they would risk to be charged for money laundering because of you?

If you are still getting money out without kyc, that's because we live in a period where regulations are technically implemented but not fully enforced. Or you are dealing with a service that might exit scam at any point.

Best way to play non-kyc anything these days is to build DeLorean time machine and go back to 2014.

Let me also brief you on the whole thing: the thread was created asking a question which is supposed to be harmless, which the first person gave recommendations for and later came back for an edit, which is where the scam/phishing site was added, and it was already discussed here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5594751.msg67177005#msg67177005. Now if you check a few comments from two users with red tags, you will see them promoting the same casino like it’s all legit, which is misleading.
