When someone is scammed it can be very painful, but it wouldn't be nice going ahead to scam other investors, and one with conscience wouldn't do such a thing. This is the problem that is really facing investors, and anyone can be a victim. In this very forum, they security of your Bitcoin portfolio is always talked about, and  the meaning is that the security of your investment is as important as your fund or money invested. When you invest money in Bitcoin, ensure your investment is safe, and secured, and do not compromise with it. Many times people are easily scammed when their wallet is connected to the Internet, seeking for help online, and indulging in ponzi schemes, desisting from these behaviour can safe you from being succeptible to some of these scammers.

Do you have better advice? Genuinely? For my friend.
If you hold a coin for a long time and invest a large amount there and lose it, then it is really painful. And if you decide to harm others emotionally from there, it will be a wrong decision and it comes from emotions. In this situation, your friend needs to refresh his mind and for this he needs to visit a place surrounded by natural beauty so that he can refresh his mind. After that, he should focus on his work again and start everything anew. People make decisions emotionally, which are never good, although they cannot feel it at that time. So as a friend, you should stand by him, comfort him about the issues and if necessary, go on a tour with him, so that he will return to normal.

I agree with you because 10 BTC is not just a word of mouth, it is the life savings of many. So in this case I would like to add another thing, he should stay away from the crypto world at least for a while. Then he can at least calm his mind and should refrain from looking at his wallet again and again, because if he wants, he can see his wallet balance in his blockchain explorer and his suffering can increase from there. Better yet, if he moves away from the crypto space for a little refreshment, then it is somewhat easier for him to forget it. Although it is not possible to forget it completely, since it is a huge shock.

It is important to consider what kind of advice your friend needs.
It's not that necessary...you can't interven in what you dont know..if your friend needs your advice, he will brief you his challenges..They're people who doesn't welcome advice and if you devote out time to advice them, they will not adhere to it...

If you have a large business, nothing stops you to employ a personal advisers, that will support your brain to work effectively towards your business, secondly, you dont need a random advice from friends, else, you will be mislead by advices from your friends, the only way you can obtain good advice from your friends..is when your friend is doing same business with you...

After many years in crypto space he seems to have failed and tired 😩😫

He came to my place yesterday and what he said shocked me as I wasn't expecting such..

Friend, I think we all got it wrong, in crypto space it pays to become a scammer than trying so hard to be an investor and still fail, gullible people are everywhere they will fall for one or two scams easily, he said.

I believe this is coming from his side of frustration, he lost his long time holding in February 2026, I guess he hasn't gotten over it yet obviously, mind you I talked him out of scamming others like a revenge thing.

After he went back home I thought about it very well, scammers are really making a killing in this space, and they are doing it for free, getting away with it, but hurting a human like myself is what I can't do, imagine stealing 10 BTC that belongs to a father who have saving it for years, planning to leave it behind for his family if possible.

Do you have better advice? Genuinely? For my friend.

Scrolling through crypto group chats and social media pages that display all those fake luxury lifestyle was your friends biggest mistake. It is very clear that all those internet stories about scammers making huge millions for free are exaggerated, all to persuade and bait people. These days almost all the law enforcement agencies around the globe have seriously upgraded and advanced their tracking equipment and tools and so many cyber criminals are getting locked up regularly. Regardless of what he sees online, no matter how tempting, he should block the temptation and understand that clean wealth will always give you peace of mind.
