Now my question is what will be your deciding factor that will influence your voting decision this time? Will it be on these key issues;
Economy? Jobs? Security? Electricity? Food prices? Corruption? Infrastructure?
Or normal tribal favoritism?

With d way hand Dey touch us for dis country, if person still Dey wey talk say na because of tribe him wan vote, then d person no get sense be that now. As we Dey see shege for dis country, no be everybody e touch? Or Dey get some tribe wey no Dey feel d heat wey we Dey feel, maybe na just some part of Nigeria Dey feel d heat, some part Dey enjoy for d country. With d way things Dey now, we suppose don get sense now, nobody suppose fit use tribe and religion deceive us again.

I don’t even know if people Dey wey go still vote for Tinubu, if na advance country, shame supoose even Dey catch d man to contest for second term. I just Dey reason Wetin d man go use do campaign, because I never see Wetin d man do since he enter power. Anytime wey we on our Tv or we carry our phones, na bad news just full everywhere.

I no go tell anybody make e vote for a particular part, but Abeg make we vote for person wey we believe say go fit make things improve if him get d position.

First, I will start by pointing out the candidates that are seriously in the contest, not people that we know that they are just contesting as we have seen the AAC candidate Omoyele Sowere doing in the past few years, Tinubu, Atiku and Obi are the popular candidates, Seyi Makinde knows that he's joking, of course we can't take Sowore serious, because we know that he's not in the game, now my preferred candidate is Peter Obi, and it is only Nigerian electoral system that can make him not to win, if the election is a free and fair election which I doubt, Perter Obi Will be announced as the winner, but we have a system where the gladiators can do anything to return to power.

Although we do not know how this election is going to be like, but it will be very difficult for Tinubu to win the North, Atiku and Kwankwaso is not going to allow that happen, and Atiku will win more of the votes, North has a way of doing things, when it is time, they will do their thing, The real vote will never be shared and if that's is been maintained in other geopolitical zones, it will be difficult to announce the Real winner, Tinubu plan is to rig everything, but let's see if it will work that way.
Presidency is by zoning and it was the turn of souths to produce a president, that is why they allowed tinubu to win, so that after his reign,the presidency will be zoned back to the North. However, the way things are going on especially at the North, tinubu might not win an election. The North are dying,they are been slaughtered like animals by bandits and they aren't happy about it. Again, the reason they voted tinubu was because he is a Muslim and that he will protect their personal interests but things aren't going the way they had expected.  They don't trust tinubu anymore,so they might not vote for him again to win the election.  As you know,any candidate who doesn't have the support of the North can't win an election in this country that is because the North are more populous than any region,so if Tinubu can't secure one third of vote from the North,he can't  win the election. So this election is just between atiku and Peter obi, even if Tinubu try to rig it, he won't succeed because the North are against his re election as president.

The president election is getting closer day by day, we are 116 days (3 months and 25days) away from the election.  On January 16th, 2027  we the citizens wil once again decide our faith and future on who to rule us for the next 4 years.

This upcoming election alone has made us witness alliances between rivals which didn't last up to 4 months ,defections, campaign promises(some candidates said they will bring back subsidy while others supports subsidy removal), arguments and plenty of social media battles before election day.

Now my question is what will be your deciding factor that will influence your voting decision this time? Will it be on these key issues;
Economy? Jobs? Security? Electricity? Food prices? Corruption? Infrastructure?
Or normal tribal favoritism?

These are the main Presidential candidates for the 2027 election ;

1. The incumbent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu  APC
2. Former vice president Atiku Abubakar  ADC
3. Former Anambra governor Peter Obi NDC
4. Popular Activist Omoyele Sowore AAC
5. Incumbent governor of oyo state Seyi makinde APM

So talk about your preferred candidate and why you feel he will do better than the other candidates.

All what everyone is clamoring for the country is someone to lead the country right and deliver the dividends of a democratic country to the people. It doesn’t matter who among this aforementioned candidates finally get to win the election as far as the individual is capable of providing good governance then Nigerians don’t really need to have much of a problem with who wins. The previous election also included this set of politicians as heavy weights candidates, they all campaigned and made promises to the people During their election campaigns but at the end what do we see. The eventual winner we all know how he forced his way into office with different campaign promises of change but after assuming office he failed to deliver his campaign promises.
It is always terrifying for me talking about our political system of government, the manipulation and the ups and downs, you are right about whoever wins which shouldn't be a problem but that's your own opinion because trust me to some people who wins is a major problem, left to me too anyone who wins should be open minded to be supported by others while those candidates who lost should bring out their ideas all joined together to make the country a better place but no, what we usually see is opposition parties fighting each other while the poor masses safer, if election can divide based on party interest them victory of any part should unite.

This idea of yours is not possible. There's no way opponents can give each ideas on how to make the country better. Instead they are hoping that the one on seat fail so that they can capitalize on that in their next election. Have you seen a Democrat share an idea with. A republican on seat? Instead they are in a tug of war for one of them to fail. The only way there can't be opponents is if the country is ran by one party system . The best thing is to have the right leader who can change the system of this country and develop it, but I don't know of these candidates can do the job.

The current president Bola Admed Tinubu have been in office for the past 3+years now, and we all can see the negative impact we have about this his administration when he came into power 2023. And for the fact that everything have been made to skyrocket over the years since he resumed office as the president. It's just high time he doesn't spend another 4years in office, because anything that let us allow him rule for the next 4years, just be rest assured of we having our economy spoil more in this country. Because it is obvious that this current administration do not have any blue-print on how to help better the live of an average Nigerian by breaking back the high prices of food and security in all states.

Op I’m just wondering why you’re counting down to the General Elections, because there is nothing good about this coming general elections, don’t you think this other candidates are wasting their time contesting for the election, I don’t see anyone there capable of defeating Bola Ahmed Tinubu, most especially Atiku is wasting his time because he can’t win this Election, it’s a dead mission, Peter Obi can only win an election on Social Media, that should signal something.

Tinubu have done all his ground works, he has planned his victory in the next election, INEC is working for him allegedly and he has successfully taken majority of the Governors who has the power to rig elections into the All Progressive Congress, this other candidates are contesting against themselves, because I don’t see how they will defeat Tinubu.

I don’t see any reason why I should be excited when my vote isn’t going to count for anything, I already know who is winning this Election and that is Tinubu, by Rigging.

Everyone knows the truth that it will be very hard for an opponent to defeat Tinubu.  They were unable to do it when he wasn't even there president, and now that he is already one now, he will use every powerr he has to make sure he wins. He will rig the election, so as his opponents will also rig too. People are just shouting free and fair election, but doesn't know that their candidates also rig too. The way it's going it's better to just put our focus on 2031 elections, because I don't see the point of this one. Tinubu himself appointed many top guys like the Inec chairman, Inspector general of police and many more. Most governors who are willingly to work for him are under his hands.  So this is just 2023 election playing out again. I hope this will be Atikus last presidential ambition, he should just give up, there's no way we can allow him to rule us , it's not just possible.  He should have used his money and fame to bring out a new candidates from his side. NONE OF THESE CANDIDATES CAN MAKE NIGERIA BETTER, REMOVE TRIBALISM FIRST AND THINK .Are they even worthy?

In my opinion it will be impossible to rig the election if we come out in mass and put our effort together to vote for righteous candidates, because I noticed one of the reasons INEC is able to rig elections is because some people give up hope and fail to participate in voting during elections. Despite the fact that Nigerians are used to collaborating with INEC officials and putting their personal interest first, the way I am seeing the seriousness this time around, Nigerian citizens may confront the federal government because the opposition parties will also not be silent about their rights.

All what you listed here are the main challenges we’re facing right now in Nigeria. And now that the presidential elections is less than three months away, this is the right time for we to think wisely and vote for a good leadership candidate that will stand for us tomorrow and solve all our problems. Because this current administration has failed a-lots so many things has been happening during his tenure, and instead of him to take action as a leadership, but he just over look allowed things to get worst.

Especially the insecurity, price of fuel, hardship of living conditions and the lack of a proper jobs. So many people’s  are graduating every years and there’s not job for them, and that’s why the numbers of insecurities are increasing every blessing day. My worry now is that even when people’s decide to change the current president to vote for a candidate who will be better for Nigeria, after casting a vote the results will be difference, you will hear the truth about the election that they’ve rig elections; that is my biggest fear in this country.

We shouldn't be even paying attention to any promises any candidates gives. They have ruled in one scenario or the other. From where they have ruled before, what is the evidence they did better there? All those are things we should bank on when choosing a leader instead of paying attention to their promises. Promises are just words packaged to attract people. But the works they have done in the past will tell whether those words are meaningless or meaningful. Another election, another round of four years. Hope we choose right this time.

Sincerely most times I feels ashamed talking about our society here because things we expect do not usually go as we think it would be, we can talk from now till tomorrow but not would changed and even if we have a specific candidate in mind to win or represent us they wouldn't allow him to represent us. Why, because they felt that it's their turn to rule the country hence they haven't finished making their space yet.
As I know, I wouldn't give my vote to anyone else than Peter Obi as I know he would do more better than anyone else there, Obi understand our economy than anyone out there and I believe he would win this time around provided that we all comes out in mass to give our vote to him. If the election would be free and fair, we can never see Bola there anymore.
The odds for Peter Obi to win the 2027 elections is very slim considering how manipulative our electoral system has been since Nigeria started a democratic constitution. The reason why i think that Peter Obi has slim chances is because of the Political stalwart in his team. He doesn't really have that much influential politicians in his camp and his disintegration with Atiku Abubaka is another area that has affected his possibility of winning because votes that should have gone for him alone will now be shared with Atiku while president Amed Bola Tinubu will enjoy his votes alone.

Another reason I said that Peter Obi may not win is because of the comment of influential politicians like Nyesom Wike. He made a speech that if he fails to deliver the FCT and Rivers State to Bola Ahmed Tinubu that he will resign as a minister. For him to be that confident even though he knows that a place like Rivers State doesn't want Tinubu to return to Aso Rock shows that there are underground arrangements on how the election will be.

Yes judging them from there previous works is the best approach towards handling this wicked leaders of Nigeria that lives with promises they can't fulfill.
I don't know if i will say the use of promises is a campaign strategy used to convince all to Dance to there tune every year, this is what all the past administration have used and even the present administration used it just to convince us and make Nigerians support them but at last nothing have been done.
Now we no longer depend on promises but by what the leader have already done while in office because its of no benefit believing they can fulfill their promises.

These are the main Presidential candidates for the 2027 election ;

1. The incumbent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu  APC
2. Former vice president Atiku Abubakar  ADC
3. Former Anambra governor Peter Obi NDC
4. Popular Activist Omoyele Sowore AAC
5. Incumbent governor of oyo state Seyi makinde APM

So talk about your preferred candidate and why you feel he will do better than the other candidates.

At this point I don't even know the candidate that will do better because almost everyone is seeing Peter Obi as the preferred candidate but who knows if he might deviate if he wins the presidential election. Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a failed president that doesn't deserve a second term. Atiku Abubakar has criminal behaviours, he can't be trusted. Omoyele Sowore and Seyi Makinde are just jokers.

On paper and in the media, everyone wants Peter Obi to emerge Nigeria next president but we all know what happens offline in reality is different from the online validation.

You're right,promises are mere words and we should not use it as a yieldstic to vote, politicians are liars and they sound so good with good policies during campaign and gullible people are easily carried away by those sweet words. If you know this men well you should know they have no integrity and we should look beyond promise to what the have done in the past, they have all been in power and their records are there to check by ourselves.

In 2027, it's not business as usual,  it's between the poor and the paid poor,many poor people will be given money to vote and tomorrow they will be hungry again,  we have to stop and Oriente  them not to sell their futures  for small penny today. Every year four  years we elect our president yet we applied same method of selling our destiny in exchange of money.

Collecting those cheap things from the greedy politicians sometimes is not really their fault, some will remember either they took those things or not the position is already decided so those voting are nothing but just a formality, one thing we must know is before the voting they've already conducted the election and decided the winner within themselves, so those collecting money and items are only doing it in a way that either they took it or not they are still going hungry for the next 4 years, so something I don't really blame them.

These promises will keep happening and people will also fall for it until we the Citizens wise up.  This doesn't just happen only in Nigeria though, every democratic nation will fall for the promises of the aspirants just like Trumps and Tinubus campaign promises. The problem is when citizens focus more on what politicians say than what they have actually done. In current era candidates administrative records matter most. And if we even say we look at each candidates records none of them are  impressive.  It's easy to day something than doing it. Our role is to demand accountability not follow a candidate because he is of the same tribe, or just base on favoritism not competency.

I agree with you. The problem is that politicians know how to use our hardship, flooding and other challenges as campaign tools, especially when elections are approaching. We have heard these promises countless times, yet the same problems keep repeating. What Nigerians need now is to stop voting based on promises and demand accountability based on what each candidate has actually done. Our votes should be earned through results, not empty words.

Thank you my broda, na d only way dem fit hold many people down and dat na our weakness, for me oh the only way to avoid dis politicians na to no give dem listening ears becos if we avoid any of dia giveaway dem go see say d people don wise up and e go weak dem too but as soon as some people begin accept dos dia small small gifts e go make dem look very important and useful for d society. With dis editing I hear say each time president or any high politicians talk for news dem go edit am especially oga presido but e no go still change d fact say dem dey punish us and we dey pretend to dey ok.
