This is the same thing I have in mind too. The people are what form the society, so when the society is talked about, it refers to the people in it. When we talk about society, we are not just talking about the environment, and if people do not exist, there will be nothing to refer to as a society. The modern social system was not developed in a day. It has reached this stage today as a result of many years of dedicated and coordinated efforts. The state is much stronger in terms of territory and this state system can control the citizens of the country in various ways. I don't see how people are different from society, a society is a group of people living together, mostly of the same species. Due to the closeness and relationships with the surroundings, interests and behaviors become contagious, people start acting the same, share beliefs, and give the society a good or bad meaning.
