Just found out some minutes back after some post on the forum..

They haven’t disclosed the main reason that caused the drain.. but from their own statement, it seems they haven’t even figured it out yet. Normally, you would expect a full lockdown on all activities with such if truly that’s what’s going for real and that’s what they did fn.
 
$7M is really a lot of money, I hope they can really stand it and recover from it.  Losing $11M  in  2 years isn’t small either.

If you have funds on Duelbit just don't panic if you cannot access the site because they have gone offline to enable them investigate the security incident that have affected the site. I hope that they can overcome the loss and move on with their business here and outside the forum. However, Duelbit is a big casino and it wouldn't take them much time to come back online. Scammers are targeting these big companies nowadays.

That's how it has been for scammers to target big companies. The problem is that we don't get to know which big companies will be their next target for scammers.

I hope Duelbits gets back stronger with Duelbits 2.0. The announced to launch when they come back online. I wish them all the best as they get to the root of what cause the $7M hack.

This is terrible, very disheartening. I was just coming from a trend with similar case of another casino being closed too. Everything seems to going online now, just as we need physical security for our businesses, we stills need online security. We should be careful of how we throw our funds in online casinos. When you make profit you withdraw. Don't leave your money there because online casinos are not banks.

This is not the first time something like this is happening to duelbits. After the first hack in 2024, they continued operations and it was nice to note then that the loss from the hack did not stop operations.

Now, this is 2026 and similar incident has occurred again. I know everyone will wish that they absorb the losses and continue with their operations like nothing happened, I wish they don't stop operations too. But, they still have to strengthen their security to prevent something like this from happening again in the  future. If this happens again, it will shake the faith people have in them and their reputation may be at stake. Proper investigation should be carried out to find out what went wrong.

Some casinos without integrity would have said the stolen funds were customers own, but here Duelbit has assured their customers that their money is safe. To me that is the first step in getting this resolved, making sure that there’s no panic among their loyal customers. I hope they get their investigation right and recover their funds back. If you ask me, I think an insider is involved in this attack.

It just remains a reminder to everyone to never store large funds that isn't for immediate use on CEX or online casino mostly crypto currency casinos but use cold storage instead because the hacks are getting rampant and we can never know what their next target is.

I have made this comment foe several times. According to the Biblical reference, let those who have ear, let them hear. In casino what I believe, those who keep large amount of funds are the VIP players or gamblers who want to be in the leaderboard. And foe the CEX, it is only when I want to sell or trading that I deposit to it id not there is no need to keep funds in those places for even one week.

Strange things are really happenings, and it keeps repeating. Just like there is an attack on casino companies and crypto exchanges. A minute, it's this company, and the next minute, it's another company. Also recently heard of the Bitsler hack.

One needs to be careful to avoid sending money into an already hacked casino, thereby loosing them all. It's really disheartening. Another problem customers will face now is trusting other brands, because some of these customers have developed trust and acquaintance with these casinos they visit regularly. They are faced with challenges of lookiyfor a new ans trusted casinos now to continue there games since the hacked casino will shot down for the main time while trying to rectify the problem.

It's a good thing they made an official announcement. Let's hope that everything ends well and Nobody really losses anything at the end.

I think the casino that experienced lost like this in the past their lose wasnt as much as  that of duebit. $7M is certainly a huge amount to lose. A couple of years back after the $4M hack, they managed to recover quite well. I hope they pull it off once again. One thing that really makes me wonder is whether the hack was through the website's security or just a case of leaked hot wallet keys.

I don't think they would just authorise such large amounts to get moved in such a short time through normal withdrawals unless there was someone on the inside bypassing the security measures.

This is a technical situation that the cause of the funds being pulled out from the Crypto casino can not be justified by the news headlines.
I trust that if there is to be any serious activity such that invades the their Privacy with unauthorized access, think the company's official team would definitely emphasize on it so as to keep users of the platform alert before they becomes a target regardless the source of the attacker is still unknown.

Terms like this could also be an authorized transaction while the essence of the transaction being bridged could be as a result of the company encountering KYC requirements to pass the stage where the funds is bridged. It maybe due to the large amount being taking out from the site, could also be that the wallet of the attacker had been red flagged and from their the exchange has the authority to bridge the attackers with the funds unaccessible for them.

Duelbits is also one of the reputable crypto casino that is being verified that is why it is also promoted here. So we wait to hear from the teams and then, we can take a stance.
For now, the suspicious of being illegal transaction could be true with the fact that the transaction is also being bridged.

The hacks are increasing daily, almost as if hackers are having a competition within themselves.

Seven million is definitely a lot.  But calling these hackers smart is a stretch.  Most of the time its just some rogue employee or a stupid security oversight, not some genius masterplan.

It is not the first time this has happened to their hot wallets. The last time they got drained was a couple of years ago, and I think they lost a little over $4 million then.  
This really stinks for the workers and users who have money locked up in there for now.  Hopefully they recover and make it back from this.

Another hack supposedly just hit the market. Crypto exchange Bitget has reportedly been hacked for $170,000,000. I think the era of AI could be descending upon low security exchanges. If this ever happened to Binance or Coinbase the market would be toast. Let us hope it never does.

They already paused everything.  No way they allow withdrawals while the system is locked down and under investigation.  Anyone with funds on there will just have to wait it out.

If customers funds are included in the money hacked from the casino, it may really not be the fault of the gambler with an intention to leave large amounts in a casino, it might happen to be a normal gambler who deposited at the time, or those who made profits and are about to withdraw, some of them get caught up in this hack of a thing, same with exchange hacks, most users deposited because they wanted to trade on P2P before the hack happens.

Still good advice, as some gamblers leave huge amounts of money in a casino without realizing there could be sudden security problems.

Op, thanks for the update, this is a very bad news for duelbits I hope they find the person who hacked into their platform to stole their money. I don’t know why some people have refused to look for something productive to do, instead they are more focused on who they can scam, which platforms they can drain and how they can make money through illegal means.  This is another reason why people shouldn’t leave their money on casinos and gambling platforms because they are not safe to keep large amounts of money,  only deposit money into a casino or gambling site when you want to gamble, and withdraw it when you want to exit the site.

What. I am just reading at $7M and after looking at the recent post of this thread, this is what I reading from another hack.

If this ever happened to Binance or Coinbase the market would be toast. Let us hope it never does.

Hoping that will not happen anymore to any of them. Binance experienced that in the past and I think they've invested more with their security.
