active slots vs old slots

I will tell you my experience with active slots either on a specific casino where it's being played more vs old slots which is outdated or not being played that much in a specific casino, because this is something I keep thinking about whenever someone shares like recent video of him playing a very old released slot.

I also noticed that the slots that feel completely dead most of the time are usually the ones that were released years ago. Maybe not many gamblers are playing them anymore, I don't really know but sometimes the newer released slots feels like they are giving back better outcomes. Of course this could just be my own experience and maybe I am connecting things that are not related.

Personally, I never managed to hit any big win on some of these old slots, even after playing longer sessions and spending quite a lot. After some point it just feels like feeding a big hole and getting nothing back. The last time I had the chance to hit a max win was on a Nolimit slot when it was still relatively new back then.

Maybe Im completely wrong about this, so I would like to hear other opinions. Do you notice also any difference between old and newer slot or do you think the release date has nothing to do with how the slot performs?

Also would be better if you can share some names of slots where you had good experiences and the providers behind them.

As I recall, when Gates of Olympus Super Scatter was first released, people complained a lot about the difficulty of getting big wins. If I am not mistaken, this forum also discussed the same issue. For now, I don't know other people's experiences with the game, as I don't see many streamers playing it anymore. Personally, I don't really follow or play newly released slot games. Older slots have a good type of appeal to me than newer slots. I think they are easy for me to relate to than what we have now. This is my personal preference.
As the other person commented most of the YouTube streamers I have seen go with the older ones maybe it appeals more to their audience- I don’t know. Just an observation.

It wasn't very long ago before I started visiting slot house, I had mainly been a big fan of sports betting, so I cannot really differentiate the majority of games, whether they are old slots or new slots.

After the much talk about your hard experience for not being able to make big wins in the old slot games, I was expecting you'd talk about how better I had been of you winning so huge back to back in the new slot games.
And I think the same luck being required in the new slot is the same required in the old one.
I think this way should strengthen this discussion so that it does not appear that you're pointing some bad finger's in the old slot games.

I can not remember if I really cares which is the old slot or not, I only play on favourites but like to test the water when a new game is being too talked about. I lik having experience of multiple game's too.

So far I have not noticed any significant difference between the newest slots I have played on and also some old classic slots I have encountered.
If you want my honest opinion, I have the impression your opinion on this subject is rather biased towards believing newer slots are more favorable for you, only based on your own personal experience, which is not necessarily the experience of other people or the experience which is supposed to be encountered by others.

Still, the important part is having fun regardless one prefers to gamble in new or old slots. I personally like new slots, but I have never gotten anything significant out of them in the form of money.

OP; I think the right way to put it is "new titles," since "old slots with that title" sounded to me like those old-school reel slots with the physical levers; but no, your idea refers to new titles or new versions of existing ones (online).

It all comes down to the slot's volatility; it’s as simple as that. Thinking that "Version 1" is better or worse for you than a new version or a brand-new title is just that chaotic gambler's mindset at work.

That said, I do believe that certain providers offer better long-term returns with some of their titles than others do. I don't know; for me, it works best to stick to one specific slot for a couple of months to see if it turns a profit or at least lets me breakeven.

This is how I'm feeling these days, but I don't think release date, or whether the slot is relatively new or old, has something to do with how often you win or lose. Everything is completely random, even if some players finds some patterns, but that doesn't really give them the edge and control the outcome, instead it'll only give them a better understanding about the game.

For me, I mostly play Wild Bounty Hunters, Gates of Olympus both versions, and Candy Rush. These are the only slot games I can recall that gave me a good multipliers.

There are always new slot games, and maybe that's what causes slot players to tend to move to new games when they feel their luck has run out in the old game. I think that's normal for slot players. Even on fiat slot sites, I often see players frequently accessing new games. Even with the same provider, new games sometimes offer easier wins with bigger multipliers. With that, players will start to leave the old games.

  Gates of Olympus is actually difficult to get a big win, even if you do a bonus buy. If the intention is to play the slot for fun, then play Gates of Olympus, but if it is to win big, the chances are much better when playing games like Wild West. Gates of Olympus gives back a little win, so players will spend more time playing. In the end, no big win, no average win, just another loss. I don't think high volatility slot games works this way, it's basically harder wins with bigger multipliers, those that offer lower volatility are easier but lower multipliers. Players try out newer slot games since it's natural for games you play consistently to get boring overtime and you'll be open to try new games. It still doesn't mean they leave the old slots, most gamblers I know still fall back to their old favorites slots after a short while, unless they find the newer slots way more fascinating.

Most players are in net loss, so I don't see the reason for the fuzz, I've played both older and newer slots and still emptied my bankroll, so I don't seem to see the obvious difference between the two on the long-run.

To ascertain if OP's observation is true, they might need to do research. Gamblers would have focused more on playing old slots if they had discovered that it gives more favourable outcomes.

You are not the only one who has that feeling, I heard it many times... I think we had a thread about it a long time ago. For a while, I played only newly released slots in some casinos with that page, but for me it was half/half...  In the end, it all comes down to pure luck. All we can do is give it a try, and sometimes we are simply lucky, and sometimes it's a disaster.

I like to play new slots, but from time to time I try some old headlines... It's when I'm scrolling through the slot selection, and I see some of my favorite slots from +5 years ago...

I think this depends on what works for you as a gambler, some of this old slots have earned some gamblers good money in the past, and they might be considered old, not because gamblers who play them does not make money any longer but because they have been in the market for so long, and probably because new slot games are flooding the casinos on regular bases, some gamblers seems to have forgotten the old ones. Some gamblers are used to certain slot games weather they are new or old. If a slot game is newly released, sometimes you need to learn about that particular slot game before you can be able to play it effectively, and where you are not comfortable with it despite being a new platform, you will definitely gamble on the old one that works for you.
There is a local gambling platform in my country, they have the old version of it, and they also have the new version of it, but am more comfortable using the old version because I understand it better than the new version, and prediction is more easier for me to make their .

Seeing this coming from my fellow gamblers makes me happy.

There is something unique about old slots,  my favourite is also an old slots and the music is captivating, few times I found myself whispering the music out and the next thing is I would grabbed my laptop and feel the reality once again.

Gates of Olympus and Candy Rush are a plus for me too, the feelings that comes with games is what keeps me going back, the money part is just a plus for me.
