It all started in order to protect the humans from evil, and connect them with their CREATOR, but it eventually degenerated into fake religions because they did not continue from the good foundation of love (of humans) of the true religion. [Remember, Love does no wrong, it's selfless, caring , etc]
 The fakes are as secretive as cults such that it's difficult to view their activities, check and balance them and their leaders.

Same is applicable to Bitcoin, it was selfless creation of Satoshi and Co, but its copies eventually degenerated into a selfish, careless, fake cryptos scattered allover the crypto space, and they mostly do this for love of money rather than humans the original was intended for.

Ofcourse, there would be cases where privacy coins like monero becomes necessary, but still for the sake of humans, the innocent users. One of the best ways to prove they were indeed not used for evil purposes is by users keeping records of their private activities just incase they are requested by courts, then they will be presented and the owners can safely prove that they were actually hiding to protect themselves from persecution or something like that. Similar privacy feature is slso possible with Bitcoin., and there are already ways to ensure that users are held accountable incase of wrongful use.

So when they say certain Religions are cult-like, always remember why they say so. The True One will be different by being very transparent and accountable,, but what should be private (such as nakedness) should remain private.Thesame is applicable to Bitcoin and other true crypto. They have to operate transparently and ethically, but when hiding becomes necessary it's for human protection, and they must continue operating ethically in that condition and have proofs of their operations

I understand that the use of religion in your narration was to give a better explanation and understanding in your comparison between Bitcoin itself(the main and major coin/ and other crypto projects) vs true religion and religion. Bitcoin itself substituting for true religion, while other fake crypto projects that are rampant everywhere replacing untrue religion full of hate.

While reading, I observed that there was much of Religion, just like the topic centered more of religion, and deeper emphasis on it, which now seem to me that the topic literally belongs to the public and society boards and not here, because there was much effort to explain your stand using too much of emphasis on religion. I just you get my point, but thought at the end, I got your message.

However, about the main idea of the post, surely, Bitcoin remains the head and a lead figure to all other cryptocurrencies. Particularly, I have followed Ethereum for sometime now, and it's always that anything Bitcoin gains weight it the market, Ethereum increases, and each time Bitcoin falls or declines, the same thing happens to Ethereum too. Not just Ethereum, some other crypto assets too. This proves that many of them totally depends on the strength of Bitcoin to stand and grow. That's why I would rather stick to Bitcoin than getting involved into some projects I have no assurance and ideas about its future. Plebs who are getting involved should also be careful, watch, examine and verify properly before putting in money.

The problem with your comparison is that it can only be understood by people who believe in a God.  Bitcoin could have been Closed Source so no other copies could be made, but that would first of all defeat its purpose and I believe Satoshi thought of this idea that other 'replicas' will eventually come out and was not really bothered by it.

After all, if you look at his work and his wordings you can understand that if some body came up with a better idea than Bitcoin then it would simply be in the benefit of every body, that is how I imagine he would have thought of it.  But considering Bitcoin can simply be 'upgraded' through various ways including Forks, there was no need for a 'better' Coin every time some body came up with a good idea.  Almost all Altcoins die, 'false religions' never really do.  I do get your comparison but I believe it is not the best analogy.

Well Bitcoin isn't the first thing in existence that people has tried to change the original purpose so I understand the point you're tryna make. Of a truth Bitcoin for what it is has attracted many people including those that are more interested in speculation than understanding the technology itself.
That said, don't you think you're pushing the religious comparison a bit too far? Bitcoin as we know was primarily created as a P2P electronic cash system, it's permissionless and borderless so you don't need a special lesson for you to know that Bitcoin's usefulness isn't limited to a particular religious belief. I'm surprised that you're tryna preach Bitcoin using an illustration that makes us picture it from a religious perspective even when you are aware that not all Bitcoiners are religious.

Or is this topic directed to Bitcoiners from a particular religion?

It's been a while since we have a topic about Bitcoin and religion, LOL.

I remember back then there was a lot of comparison, we even have Bitcoin Jesus or even Bitcoin Moises that time.  . However, I will have to disagree with the comparison, I mean Satoshi gave us his invention and we all know what he wanted to do with Bitcoin and what's it's purpose.

If it is being used by criminals, then we don't have control over it.

We don't need to overthink about Bitcoin, it serves it's purposed to us, so no need to complicate it like comparing to a occult like following or religion.

While i strongly prefer Bitcoin over most altcoin, i wouldn't go as far as calling it as "true cryptocurrency". Bitcoin obviously isn't perfect and ideally there's always room for discussion.

What? Bitcoin clearly doesn't have similar privacy feature such as stealth address (which hide actual sender/receiver address) or "confidential transaction" (which hide send/receive amount) that used by Monero.
