science with religion always creates a major, unnecessary problem. Bitcoin is a tecnologia, it has nothing to do with religion. I have never seen a situation where people sit and listen to someone lecture for hours about Bitcoin while followers eagerly agree with everything without asking for proof that sort of thing only happens in religion. So, quite frankly, I find it completely absurd to compare Bitcoin to religion. I also disagree with the criticism leveled at altcoins; there are projects that aren't useless and aren't just Bitcoin copies they are altcoins with their own distinct purposes. Religion is something that has manipulated the minds of many people, but I don't intend to get into that subject.

The world is filled with the good and the bad. Both what God created and what man created have been used for positive reasons and for negative reasons. Man will always find a way to find the opposite effect of anything they come across.

God created two genders, but Man has said there are more genders. The problem is that the people who are still reasonable in the world cannot control those who lack knowledge and wisdom, and those who want to do bad instead of good.

Bitcoin and religion were meant to be for good, but through it, other individuals with bad motives created what in today have hurt many.

In essence, we did have a true religion and then the fake ones or at least copies that mimic the original only to be fake…? Because, my stand is, there are no originals or fakes to religion. We can only have religion and the purpose is defined by those who practice it.

If I’m to relate that with Bitcoin, then yeah, we can only have Bitcoin and its purpose is determined by its holders.
Coming down to Altcoins, the same applies but with a little twist as, we have pump and dump Altcoins with many turning out to be scams.

The comparison of bitcoin to religion is really not matching but i still get from the point you’re coming. Bitcoin was introduced for all and not for any religion biased person or sentiment and limitations to region. Just because one person is bad doesn’t make others from that place the same.

Before bitcoin, fiat was used for negative things even when it can only be used for positive things but that doesn’t stop its existence and use till date. Think of bitcoin in that context also, it is the people using it and not itself performing the good and bad that will make it be seen differently and use differently.

OP probably misunderstanding privacy but it's not really a bad thing. Privacy is not being secretive and maybe he forget that Bitcoin is transparent even though it supports privacy. I also think making comparison with Bitcoin is not ideal, and he needs to understand that no matter how good we want to make something there will always be those who will abuse it and use it wrongly. This is what is happening with Bitcoin privacy. Just because some people are misusing it doesn't mean everyone is using it negatively. Yes even with fiat we've seen people use it negatively and till date it's still going on and it's the same with religion, some people are taking it too extreme more than they should.

It all started in order to protect the humans from evil, and connect them with their CREATOR, but it eventually degenerated into fake religions because they did not continue from the good foundation of love (of humans) of the true religion. [Remember, Love does no wrong, it's selfless, caring , etc]
 The fakes are as secretive as cults such that it's difficult to view their activities, check and balance them and their leaders.

Same is applicable to Bitcoin, it was selfless creation of Satoshi and Co, but its copies eventually degenerated into a selfish, careless, fake cryptos scattered allover the crypto space, and they mostly do this for love of money rather than humans the original was intended for.

Ofcourse, there would be cases where privacy coins like monero becomes necessary, but still for the sake of humans, the innocent users. One of the best ways to prove they were indeed not used for evil purposes is by users keeping records of their private activities just incase they are requested by courts, then they will be presented and the owners can safely prove that they were actually hiding to protect themselves from persecution or something like that. Similar privacy feature is slso possible with Bitcoin., and there are already ways to ensure that users are held accountable incase of wrongful use.

So when they say certain Religions are cult-like, always remember why they say so. The True One will be different by being very transparent and accountable,, but what should be private (such as nakedness) should remain private.Thesame is applicable to Bitcoin and other true crypto. They have to operate transparently and ethically, but when hiding becomes necessary it's for human protection, and they must continue operating ethically in that condition and have proofs of their operations

I get the point, but I think Bitcoin’s main distinction is that its rules are transparent and verifiable by anyone. Privacy doesn’t have to mean hiding wrongdoing either. It can simply mean having control over what you choose to reveal.
