Are there still people holding worthless altcoins?

There was a time for altcoins when it was possible to make a lot of profit but that time is not there anymore. If that time was still there then a lot of good profit could be made.

There are some tokens in the wallet that have become useless and have no value. Do you still have any altcoins in your holdings like this that currently have no value at all?

I still have some of them, but I don't even want to look at them. I just don't care anymore because I know they're never going to go up again. Holding on to those altcoins after their run was a good lesson for me. If you don't sell these altcoins at the right time, you're just left holding the bag. If it ever happens again, I won't make the same mistake.

Altcoins isn’t something to be proud of holding especially for long periods, sometimes we keep talking about selling them off at the right time but I’ve got many of them I’m ready to offload for long now but I’m yet to see any right time to sell them off because they aren’t even listed yet and I don’t know when they’re going to be. It there are some I can’t even remember how I got them as I see them appear in my wallet and I just ignore them, holding most of this altcoins is as good as holding nothing because they are  down to -0

Buying these alt or meme coin with my hard earned money is the mistake I will never do again, because I learnt the hard way, when I lost a large amount of money I invested into it.

Let's say you have learn your lessons, will you rule out the fact that you once bought them? Most person fall into that trap too, and as for the op question, do anyone hodl something that has dumped, if you buy or will i say invest in alt, memecoin or shits, just know that you have embarked on a risky journey and whatever be the outcome should not come as a surprise to you, although some persons also got lucky those days and were profitable in some of those random coins, but what I know is that, investing in these things are more like gambling.

And the worst of it all is that most people are using money that could have been used for other important thing than using it to buy something that is as risky as that, very funny how he made mentioned of using hard earned money that means the money could have cover up certain important needs, if this kind of risks were to be taken then using money that will not affect you in any way if things turns out badly is the best option, anyways some mistakes are lessons. I don't doubt it that some people are still holding because at the current time they don't actually know what else they will do it and maybe being hopeful and not knowing how long they can keep holding.

In most cases, the tokens that have fallen down after losing their existence are almost unlikely to rise again, so if some money can be recovered from any token, it is better to sell it.

Yep. Those old tokens with no progress of the project, they are probably very difficult to have good prices again. I have forgotten those useless tokens because I don't see a chance to get money from them anymore. It is better to not thinking about those tokens again because it just makes us to feel bad and regret. TBH, I never check about their prices again because it is useless. I suggest us to focus on our current portfolio with more convincing coins/tokens.

Exactly. If the hype of those tokens have gone, there will be no chance to increase again. It is because there will be no demand anymore, so the prices will keep declining until those tokens be dead tokens with no value.

I already scrap all of the low value altcoins I have, I used to store them in an exchange before just for having a quick take profit but apparently, I ended up just having a cut loss still hodling low value coins good thing is still there are some CEX supporting exchange your dust tokens into their own token after that I didnt hodl much coin like that most of the top 10 coin listed in the CMC are one of the priority I have right now for the upcoming bullrun.

And that's like the best thing because there are a lot of irrelevant coins out there and the best thing was getting rid of them because even if you  you keep them nothing will change and that is why before you  buy it is good you make proper verification before you can buy any coin, majority of this  coins don't have any value and when you are buying any coin it should be that it is something that will bring you profit, sometimes some people feel they might be lucky but it does not always work that way because the luck might not come your way so this is something we have  to be prepared against.  And that is why Before you buy anything it is best we do our own research  before buying any coin.

TBH, I never check about their prices again because it is useless. I suggest us to focus on our current portfolio with more convincing coins/tokens.

At the present time, this is the perfect decision because it is better to move forward with the present rather than feeling sad by looking at the worthless coins of the past. Currently, there need to be many updates regarding buying tokens because we cannot suffer losses for the second time like before. At present, I'm moving forward by giving importance to stable altcoins and arranging the portfolio in a new way.

If you want to minimize risks in the crypto market where you don't have to be doing any research before buying then you should hold Bitcoin, it is basically the cryptocurrency that cannot scam you because it has proven it's trust since it's creation. Aside from Bitcoin there are only a few top cryptocurrencies that doesn't need much research on them before you buy like Ethereum, BNB and Solana, maybe very few more but the majority are gambles. No matter how much you research these projects that are flooding the market if you decide to take your chances on them it is best to use small amounts that you are comfortable to lose so if they become worthless before you sell them you wouldn't have too much regrets.

BNB (powered by Binance Chain) has a pretty good ecosystem. But I would reconsider investing into it, especially when it's a centralized coin tied to a centralized exchange. Recently, Binance suffered a major hack. It got exploited for billions of USD. Imagine if the exchange goes bankrupt or simply gets shutdown by the government. BNB would cease to exist (or it will no longer be relevant). That's the problem with altcoins. You'll never know when they'll disappear due to single points of failure within the system.

The vast majority of altcoins have no use cases. Yet, people hold them out of pure greed. I mean, everybody wants to make money. For something serious or long-lasting, I'd choose BTC over altcoins any day. Otherwise, I'd suggest you do your own research and diversify. You'll thank me later.
