After all that Trump said, this is 2026, we can all judge for ourselves if these self-acclaimed pro-Bitcoin politicians are worth trusting or not.

Personally, I won't trust any politician who suddenly declares himself to be a lover of bitcoin just when elections are by the corner. I will judge him with anything else, but definitely not what he says about Bitcoin just to get my support. Politicians are known to say what people like to hear.

Those who have done politics by supporting Bitcoin have been successful and later they have not kept the promises they made on Bitcoin. That is why I think most of the politicians who try to attract the people with positive promises before the elections and are successful there and after being successful they never fulfill the promises they made to the people. The political class is one set of people that , we really needs to be very careful of when are we are dealing with them. So even if they look and talk good about cryptocurrencies, I don’t initially believe and support them. Their background and credentials will still be my biggest factor.

It's up to you to decide who you want to trust. Bitcoin is more than enough, so I personally don't see reasons why you should Trust someone just because they’re telling you something about an asset that has already been in existence for more than 15 years. Although, Trump impacted the market in some ways... But I guess the negative side is something a lot of people can't forget in a hurry_{(specifically during that tariff era which was sometime last year if I'm not mistaken)}. And as for the last question, well that's something only politicians can answer, but if I'm to make a guess, they're just gonna play the regular game of not fulfilling promises.

Anyway, there isn’t anything strange of politicians when they go public on how they are very welcoming of Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies, especially towards the election periods. It’s always about a strategy of getting votes where you can find them.

Trump did this and we later saw Trumpcoin, even when he continues to make Bitcoin an inferior currency to the dollar and rightly so as a seating president.

There was a certain politician in my country who ran for a higher position in the Senate and a known advocate of Bitcoin but still lose. Other than him, I won't trust politicians in general. We know how they act and they're there for their own political goal and survival, nothing more and nothing less. They are good in talking and getting the vote of confidence of the people when they're showing the platforms that they'd do and even it includes bitcoin per se, I'm not going to believe all of them because in the end they will only worry about themselves and not the real public service or for the betterment of crypto movement in my country.

Yeah Donald Trump succeeded on deceiving the people that he's up for bitcoin promotion, but his real plan is to introduce his own meme coin and made massive profits even in just a short duration. But I don't think following his pattern will still work in the coming election. People have already seen what politicians are opt to gain, and bypassing them maybe the best way so we can avoid putting bitcoin at its worst position.

The thing is, we can listen to them, but we should know how to weigh things right and avoid politicians those who suddenly claim that they are bitcoin enthusiasts.

Many politicians make many promises before elections but in reality they do not fulfill their promises after being elected. I have seen many politicians playing politics with Bitcoin and they have achieved success while playing politics with Bitcoin but Bitcoin is still in its previous position. My answer to that is if he's truly invested in Bitcoin, then you would not need to worry about trusting him/her. You merely need to know that he's incentivized to help Bitcoin's adoption grow, so that its market value will grow, and therefore his investment will grow.

You can only speak for yourself because many members of the crypto community will clap for anyone who comes out today ahd says that he is a lover of crypto. Even Trump himself which we believe played on our intelligence to win the election can still come out today to make a bold statement about Bitcoin and the market will react. If you won't believe them, others will.

Like I have said, we don't have to trust these politicians simply because they present themselves like they love Bitcoin and the the entire community. There are many other things we can use to assess them whether they profess their love for Bitcoin or not.

Why is it important for us to believe in politics? What good are politicians doing to you and your country? Anything apparently good they do comes with a very harsh and expensive cost on long term. And once you start questioning them, you will receive retaliation in counterpart, including from your own countrymen.

There are not many positive things about crypto in our country yet, so I do not believe in my country yet, even if they introduce it, I would prefer to work with a reliable country.

It's the basic right of any individual to choose a candidate to vote for based on his own priorities, with freedom. And no external pressure forced him to give a vote to some other that he could not like. Why do people give votes to a person who is corrupt even if they know it? I think every individual has an attachment to politicians according to their personal preferences and that's the thing that pulls them to give votes.

In my opinion, politicians should prioritize public concerns instead of their personal matters or preferences, and it's the responsibility of citizens to ask questions about the performance of their elected representatives. But allegations should always have an evidence basis so that we prevent personal conflicts. All the same, the system is parallel to crypto, because in politics the important thing is trust so here we take candidates as a new financial system. So, in this way, the government played an important role in appreciating and launching the crypto-based policies. I hope the government does because it has a lot of benefits for all of us.
