Hardworking can pay massively too, but the majority isn't worth it, I still respect skills and smartness than hardworking though, and it also depends on the country you are from, some countries have good jobs and salaries while others don't, specifically we from Africa, hardworking in Africa is not worth it, they pay too less for heavy works but they respect skills than anything else, adding smartness gets you there faster, that's why you must add it, I believe smart working should be generally for everyone.
There are many local farmers here that farm products as soon as we receive the first rain here, the farming lasted for 6 months and when they are done with harvest, they bring them home. They don't even dried the product and store them for long and hold till when there high demands, they take the ones they are going to eat for the period of dry season that will last for 6 months and sell the rest of the products at cheaper price and go live their life as they want.
The middle men go to them, buy these products at cheap prices, hold them for at least 3 month and when the price is high, they bring out the products and sell with confidence and profits. You can see that they don't do the work, they just invest and buy and then sell when the price is high where by the farmers spend 6 months cultivating these products and sell them at cheap prices. This is the difference between hard work and working smart to make money.
