If your income keeps increasing but the things you need also keeps becoming more expensive, are you getting richer, or you're simply earning more money to maintain the same lifestyle?
Making more money while the things that we need becomes expensive is just living in same lifestyle, nothing has really changed become for growth to be experienced in your finances, it will mean earning more and spending less but in a scenario where you earn high and the price of things tops up, it will mean that you are still buying same things as usual. However, it is better for one's income to increase along with his expenses than to earn same amount while the price of things in the market skyrockets.

It is clear that we are working harder to maintain the same standard of living, if not a lower one. In some countries, particularly in Europe, the cost of living has risen by at least 22% over the last four years, whilst wages have remained stuck at '90s levels, an absolute disgrace and all because the continent’s politicians have failed to bring their countries up to speed with the times we live in. All the potential and businesses have vanished, lured away by countries such as less expensive countries.

For real and I believe that’s the prayer of every human to either maintain the standard of living if it’s okay by you or live higher than that because no body prays go from grace to grace and growth is one of the most important here in earth most especially finincial growth and in most countries government officials are not really concerned of how their citizens survive theirs is just to make sure them and their family members are okay even if the cost of things increases by 100% they are not really concerned they all advocate for their selfish interests and so may citizens will how have to work day and night, Monday to Sunday, just to make sure that they can maintain their current standard if living which is really bad.

In reality, Someone can move from earning $500 to $1,000 a month and still feel like nothing really changed. the reason in most cases is that Rent also increases, food costs more, transportation gets more expensive, and suddenly that extra $500 doesn't feel like much anymore.
Nope bro, even if your earnings increase from $500 to $1k, which is very low for a month, but let's say they do increase. Your rent won't increase like this. We have all started earning like this for some time, and suddenly we started to spend more while the rent and bills remained the same. Before, we were so focused on saving electricity and turning off extra light bulbs, but when you started to earn more, your appetite increased and you cared less. So the expenses exceeded, and now even $500 will feel like a lot less to you. Now you need at least $1k for the same lifestyle, especially if you get used to it. Then you have to work hard, and you will even stress over failing to earn that much. Even if you meet your $500 target, you will still feel stressed.

Not really so many persons have different reasons for working to maintain the standard of living and lifestyle is maintained. Some work to eat, work to invest, work to be famous, others work hand to mouth etc. As a responsible person you work to survive, grow and invest. Without all these one could be finding it very difficult to cope with the rough and hash economy we are currently. However, as we know people are no longer getting younger anymore and whatever we do our savings and investments should be our utmost priority in life. Without investment and savings, we would end up and failure or even becoming more dependent and subjective to people because there is no invest that has taken Place in our life. When you talks about the wealthy people, they of businesses that would fetch’s them more money while the poor are to keep thinking of how to spends them immediately without proper planning, thinking and reasoning for a long term goal with their lives.

We are individual differences with different perspectives and thoughts, no matter how we work hard to put things in place, if the economy is not stable or if the economy is hard, there's no way we can survive it all. Some people are actually doing well in terms of lifestyle and other necessary responsibilities and bills, while some are suffering to make a daily living, due to how bad the current economy is and alots of people are just struggling to eat, so once the economy is not stable and be favorable to people, especially the poor ones, even if you choose to work the whole life, things can never be as wanted or expected rather. To my own understanding and views, it seems that the economy is always favored the rich ones than the poor people, it's just be as if the poor ones are working hard just to sustain themselves, because there's nothing like investment when there's no financial balancing.

When your income doubles or 3x, your purchasing power must also increases but if your case is getting double salary and what you are spending the money on is also doubled in value it's not a financial step up at all, you are getting refitted in the same spot that you were once in, I believe I am a different person compared to many others, I can make a lot of money in a month and live like someone who makes so less amount of money, I have gotten used to this lifestyle myself and it has help me in Bitcoin investment and other investments too, this is the way to move forward.
If your salary doubles or more, you shouldn’t necessarily increase your spending. It is better to maintain your current lifestyle and put the extra funds into investments or a savings account. Furthermore, you should always have a financial cushion for unforeseen events—situations beyond your control that might require unexpected expenses. It is important to keep this in mind at all times; ideally, you should even note it down in a notebook that you keep close at hand every day.

True, a higher income does not mean we have to spend more. But don't be so tight with yourself and your family just to chase some far off financial goal. Saving and investing matter, but making money should also make life better now, not just leave something for future. Balance is key, between building wealth and enjoying fruits of your labor. Do not wait until you hit your financial goal to start enjoying life. Not everything can be saved for later.

I agree with you completely, living is now difficult and our way of life as of before things started getting crazy is no longer the same, imagine how countries that hardly spend much are battling with the increment of things, tax here and there, is ridiculous and the annoying part of it all is that the poor can't have that normal lifestyle they had before things started going south. This ongoing war played a major role in this hardship, as it is over savings is what is saving many of us now, some people who don't have any savings are being forced to borrow. The politicians who knows what is the cause are too comfortable because those who are above them are calling the shots and I believe without that the leaders in a particular country would have tried to help the masses but they had to play by the rules. Imagine the cost of petrol, is never ready to drop to how we all know it to be in our various countries, honestly the cost of living is killing the living.

The reality is just doing the same thing in different ways but expecting different results, if a nation increase salary for instance and increase inflation it really takes back the money through that inflation I can use my nation for instance with align categorically to op line of statement and topic, back then one with the minimum wage can afford certain food items in the market, but right now minimum wage has been increased where more money is been paid the same person who can afford those items can't afford it with the money as inflation rate increase all aspects of things is been affected , more money when price is higher is just The same when price is lowmost time better when price is low with small income or money.

This is what the government has put us into, a slave to fiat system whereby, you keep on working and inflation eats up the value of your money. Just imagine that your income didn't increase, it means that you will go below your standard of living. It's better that my income increases and I didn't have any extra from my increased income but can still meet up with my standard of living than not being able to meet up with it. This is the main reason why you need to try your possible best to invest the little extra that is left into bitcoin after taking care of all your needs.
It is obvious that many individuals are only working to sustain their standard of living instead of working to gain major achievements. What we people are passing through today is as a result of wrong policies made by our leaders, and in many cases they benefit from those policies they make far more than the masses. In many countries, the cost of living has become so high that people are only thinking of sustaining family, such as eating food, manage to send children to school, and no significant achievements. The fiat currency has devaluated to the extent that much cannot be purchased with the amount you earn as wages. So only investment can really save you from such financial struggle, and that is the reason why we talk about Bitcoin investing or other digital assets like stock and gold because your money will not loose value, instead it will add value, and possibly grant you financial freedom in time coming.

Increase in one's income or salary is a huge progress and advantage to that person because if things remain the same before the increment in his salary, definitely there will be more savings than before so it will only mean nothing ( no change) if after the increment in salary, expenses also increase but increase in salary is always a progress and no matter how tough things are a wise person will always know how to manage things and look for possible ways to increase themselves.

Earning more money and being financially comfortable are two different situation in the present day global economy. that you are earning more than your previous salary doesn't always mean you're financially better off.

I have come to understand that we are working to matchup with the ever increasing inflation that's the problem and it feels like this scenario you pointed speaks for me and alot of people, I just a remote job as a side hustle to my normal paid job and it feels like even working this two jobs, I still struggle to maintain the already acquired taste and sometimes I normally think I have to cut down.

In recent years, the main reason why most folks are working hard is to maintain that lifestyle they are already living, because as a human being there is a certain level you will get to or standard. All you will pray for is to maintain that level or that standard you're already in; and the only way to achieve that is by working hard. but working hard is not enough we need to invest in something because if there's no investment or business that is running definitely we may find it difficult to maintain that lifestyle as we will be working from hand to mouth and we might probably get tired at some point.

No, I am not suggesting that we should become ascetics and deny ourselves every little luxury. While it is true that we must live in the here and now, thinking about the future is absolutely essential. Let me give you an example. High-ranking officials have repeatedly floated the idea—in various public statements—that people ought to start thinking about their own retirement planning. In other words, they are strongly hinting that, in the near future, state-provided pension payments may no longer be available. This raises a question: how, then, are we supposed to live? What are we supposed to live on? This serves as a prompt to start thinking about our old age right now—to ensure that, when the time comes, we aren’t left scavenging for food in trash heaps, but rather have the financial means to support ourselves. Isn’t that just common sense?

I'm not saying we should focus only on the present and ignore the future. As I said, saving and investing are important. My point is that we need to strike a balance between preparing for future and enjoying the fruits of our labor while we still can. We should have financial plan for future, but that doesn't mean giving up too much of what we need and enjoy today just because we are worried about the risks that might come our way down the road.

How does one go about creating a financial plan? What does it actually entail, and what components should it include? I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on this—perhaps I’ll learn something new. I still haven’t managed to find that "golden mean"—the right balance—that would allow me to start setting money aside or investing it. Lately, my salary barely lasts until the next payday. Prices keep rising, yet there hasn’t been any salary adjustment for inflation in years. Whenever I try to bring this up with my boss, he essentially shows me the door.

The rate of inflation is going high with time and salaries or wages are not increased to counter the increased inflation rate. This is the main reason people have same lifestyle over the years despite the fact there salaries have increased. It is getting difficult to invest or save anything with one job and that is why people are looking for other options to earn more money for investments or savings. If someone want to improve his lifestyle then he has to increase his income and make sure that increase is enough to beat the inflation rate otherwise it will be break even situation.
