Most of the individuals want to start their own business but they are afraid of one thing " WHAT WILL PEOPLE SAY". They aren't scared of losing or winning but the above statement kills their ambitions and they usually prefer traditional jobs from 9-5 which brings them hand to mouth but they are still ok with that. A person selling street food earn more than a PHD scholar who gets a toffee in the shape of salary which doesn't reach even to mid of the month. Why are we ashamed of starting our own business?

If I had known about investing earlier, I could have reached a better position financially.

That’s very true. Managing a business requires a great deal of responsibility and the truth is that not everyone is willing to take on such responsibility and hard work, so even if they have the capital, the best they can do is hand open the business and hand it over to someone who has knowledge of the business, and this isn’t something that I can advise anyone. It’s better to hang on to which ever is best for you rather than delving into something you’re not mentally prepared for simply because others are doing it or you believe it’s more profitable.

I do not know what might have prompted this your post but doing business is never an easy task especially if one does not have the required financial strength and I can't say which country you're from but comparing a PhD holders earning to a street seller is not a good one considering how long such persons have spent to acquire that degree as well as the resources spent.

I wouldn't advise anyone who already has a good white collar job to quiet their job simply because they want to start a new business of their own because it is always very frustrating and what is best for anyone in this kind of situation is to do both the regular job while grooming his business and until the business is a fully fleshed one, I wouldn't advise anyone quiet their job.

Young and immature minds have that thought of not starting to be shameful when they are doing a hustle or a grit in life. That's normal when they get through with that because they're careful of their actions and the thoughts of people towards them. They're only protecting what they think should be given importance with but, as they grow and become a better person they realize that it's not relevant and nothing important to be worried with. When life slaps them with the reality, as long as they're earning from their honest and hard work, that will break that shame that they have thought of once before.

It is always good to invest when we still have time and the best time for we to still have time to enjoy our return of investment is today. Saying you will start some other time is not a good excuse because it can make you to never do anything. Many people throught that they could invest in the future hence they did not do anything today and when the future came, they became broke and do not have any money to live a comfortable life. If you do not invest while you are young, you are not going to have a good living conditions in the future. Any decisions that you want to do, it should be done today and not to wait for later. Do not wait untill you think you are ready before you invest. It should be done today.

That's always an excuse that they'd say to do it in some other day. We can't force people in doing it right now but when they are in a situation that they have no longer an option. And, they have to something about it, I guess that it will force to do such thing and will find something to do survive just for them to do business or anything that they can even if they're still scared what people will say or what the society thinks about them.

The most important thing is to start whatever you have in mind even though it's not perfect the way you picture it to be in your head but it's all about execution. The beginning of failure is when you start procrastinating whatever it is you are supposed to make a move on. I disagree - I would have thought most entrepreneurs are less concerned about what people think
and more concerned with points like, will the business be profitable, will I be able to secure funding,
do I have the necessary skills to carry it through to viability.

Most people dont care what others think of them, and this is more the point for people who are business
orientated. If most people were affected by what others think - then nothing would get done.

If anyone truly believes they have a viable business opportunity they will and should see it through as

Skills, funding and profitability are very important for a business but I don't think that most entrepreneurs care about what other people are thinking. Social pressure is real and it can have a huge effect, especially when someone is trying to start a new business from scratch or something unusual. Most of the time, people become too reluctant and hesitant to start a business because they think that people around them including their friends and family members, are going to make fun of them or they consider the business to be too risky.

Just thinking that a business is viable is not going to make it viable. Cash flow timing, competition, market demand all these things matter a lot. I think the sensible decision is not to just keep pushing because you believe in the idea but to learn from the results, believe in the idea and also change your direction when the evidence says so.

It is much better to do your own work, you will not be a slave to anyone and you will be able to run your own business. This is the only good plan. It is not possible to improve by working, because the money you get at the end of the month is spent on your food and family. How will you buy land, build a house and buy a car?

It's never lack of capital, it's all about what people we say and I'm saying the earlier we start killing that thought from our head the better for us. We start building something solid and make sure we're reaping every means of our success, we know what we want and we do everything within our reach to always come out in good numbers.

We're business owners and starting small is no crime, we should be able to start small and grow our business until it reaches the top. We become very careful with the way we do things because the market have its own way of rewarding those that are patient and strategic towards their growth. When we go through life without apologizing for what we feel, I don’t think the world’s harsh blows mean we have to care about people’s negative comments—but their words and statements can actually serve as motivation for us to prove ourselves. If we just stand still without moving, when will we ever reach our destination? Sometimes it isn't shame but the fear of losing.
If they quit their job to open their own business, where would they get the money to support their family if it doesn't work out?
Some people choose to work rather than to start business cause they want a secure and steady income to support their family, they couldn't take the risk cause their family relies on them.
It is true that selling street food could earn more compared to regular workers, but it also depends on the location and competition, what if there are plenty of vendors in a certain place.

If you care about what people will say about you before starting your Business, you will never start, because you will be discouraged by what people will say because you want to please them. If that’s what you think or how you think before you start business, you will never start any business because people will always have something to say even though they don’t have any positive impact they will add to you.

What you need to do is to make your necessary enquiries about any business you are about to start, think of how it impact the people and how you will be able to sell it out to make your money because that’s the primary goal, forget about people and focus on your self, once you have succeeded, they will come back to you again.

There are workers who can still grow their wealth from a monthly salary, while there are also business owners whose businesses only generate income that is only enough to cover their family's expenses, therefore having a business does not automatically mean you will get rich, just as having a job does not mean you will never be able to build wealth, the main point is to improve yourself and develop your skills because your ability to create income and build wealth in the future will largely depend on the skills and knowledge you continue to develop.

With the state of things now, hardship, inflation, unemployment etc ... We ought to have outgrown this stage, 
As a matter of fact this question shouldn't be a challenge an individual will have to face in this generation. If there is a situation where someone is bothered about what another person will think of him when it comes to making use of opportunities to make money, then I will assume the person is in a good financial state to let such bother him. I personally do not expect this question to still be a challenge individuals face, looking at how hard the world has become there are more important things to be worried about.
