Creating a signature design with AI

Since the release of ChatGPT 6 Astra, I'm quite impressed with its abilities but it's very expensive, so they recently released GPT 6 Sol, which is quite good and cost-effective. It's also quite creative and significantly helped me in UI/UX design, so I decided to give it a try on designing signatures for Bitcointalk in BB codes.

I provided 5 signature codes for Hero/Legendary members with screenshots to ChatGPT 6 Sol with Max reasoning and tried to train it on creating signatures in BB code. Honestly, 5 signatures aren't much and I didn't train it well, but I'm quite surprised by the result.

Here are the results it automatically generated: one for Bitcointalk and another for Gamba casino, which I randomly took from the gambling section.
P.S. Next time, I plan to train Astra 6 with Max settings and provide hundreds of signatures with its screenshots.

Now you can see the result yourself (Bitcointalk was purely auto-generated, but for gamba, I asked ChatGPT to visit its ann thread and I also attached an image from the ann thread, then it auto-generated the code):

Most times I just smile when I see people backlash AI when at the end of the day they use it everyday. The forum values originality and frowns at plagiarism that's why AI is not encouraged.

On the other hand using AI generated signatures is not wrong. Unless anyone can quote me where it's boldly written. Nevertheless understand that the margin between what I will design and AI will design is very far and noticeable.

The results could easily pass for a regularly designed signature with proper link placement and colour combination.

P.S. Next time, I plan to train Astra 6 with Max settings and provide hundreds of signatures with its screenshots.

Different designers with their approach, but it is usually courteous to ask the artists first before feeding their designs into any AI machine learning program.

Yeah I'm not trying to say it's bad of course the design actually looks pretty good honestly. However the point I'm driving at is that AI hate is a forced crap actually. Have you seen the viral post on X ? Where someone made a beautiful painting posted it but tagged it as created with AI.

Literally every comment was hateful some were even giving out inconsistencies in the drawing forgetting that imperfection is part of art. After a while he exposed that it was an original painting of his and they were all dumbfounded.

I believe it is because there is so much bad AI content, generally stupid stuff, going around the internet, social media and similar. People are fed up with it, and now any good picture, video that is generated with AI will be "bad" because people are fed up with it. And I know it shouldn't be like that at all. AI is extremely useful for this kind of art , just like ASCI.

It is actually better and faster than humans,  and everyone should be using AI for these simple jobs.

Do we really need to use AI for everything, including for creating forum signatures? 
I could understand if someone used it to make personalized signature, but removing human element in design process is silly to me.
If I was admin I would add a rule that signatures or anything else created by AI should clearly have information with what tool exactly they were created.

I think AI-made tools will produce a sig. code that will be close to expectations if the prompter is the sig. designer themselves, they are the ones who understand what client requests usually look like. ha haa

I am glad you made this bold statement even if you are a designer. This remind me of the social media conversation, where designers criticize people who try to design themselves with AI, but when you give them such job, they still fall back to AI to enhance productivity.

AI is obviously here to stay and it's respecter of no profession. If anyone refuses to advance with AI, they'll definitely be replaced by AI. The best is to advance with it.

"AI is used everyday by everyone"? Can you quote the source of this? Because building AI datacenters are hot issue right now that cost lots of resources on  every prompt a user made.

Not yet, it's not been discussed, and im sure theres no wrong of using it, but for future contests? I don't think so. It might be some signature designers using it as assistant already for faster and more options choosing for its clients, who knows.

Yeah... you ca not mix things up, since they have very different uses of AI... one it is using as a tool to create a layout and BBCodes in an advertising signature, the other is ask it to replace a post that is necessarily supposed to reflect the person’s thoughts and originality.
The rules is very explicit in requiring that any piece of "thought" or "saying" that is npt yours must be inside a "QUOTE".

In the second case we need exactly what AI cannot replace: opinions, experiences, originality... only an actual response of your own is capable of conveying that... AI can deceive, but it does nOt last very long.
And in the first case this is nOt necessary, because the AI is not pretending to be my opinion about the subject of the thread... of course human talent is more appreciated, but nowadays paintings and even music are created 100% by AI, and that is not a problem here.

Culture of not using AI? Writing a whole text using AI is completely different from using it to help you translate better  your text for example or asking it to correct typo in your text in English. The problem is when you become the bot.
Losing jobs? It is already happening by the hands of these losing their jobs themselves when they train it in the first place. Other people in the same field are just a collateral damage..

It's one thing to use AI to do something for me, without any of my own ideas, logic, or reasoning. It's quite another to use it as an aid to create what was conceived in detail by the creator's mind.
AI should be used as a tool for creation, not as an independent element of creation.

Therefore, there's nothing wrong with using AI to create things, as long as it's not limited to a simple "do this" process.



Regarding the creation of the OP, the result is good, because for an AI this shouldn't be a major flaw. However, in terms of creativity/originality, it's nothing remarkable.

I think what's missing isn't more training for AI, but rather using your own imagination to tell the AI ​​what to do.

Campaign managers mostly don't design signatures by themselves, and they hire designers to do that task for them and companies that hire them for managing signature campaigns.

Of course it isa whole different thing, but a good number of people I think will not like to use AI regardless of the type of usage, they prefer manually doing things now. That’s what it means!

Yeah, I mean it’s going to affect those out guys in the service board who earn from designing the signature campaigns in the forum, managers pay for that and this is only going to affect them negatively which is why is has to be dumped to save their jobs for them.
