The reason of having bitcoin can be because of financial value and it can also be as a result of the system. It is possible for bitcoin to get one rich but the idea of becoming rich quick doesn't exist. If people are willing to invest Bitcoin for a longterm and ready to stick to accumulate bitcoin irrespective of how slow it can be, it is possible yield a good results from bitcoin which can change ones financial state. Their is no doubt about bitcoin to make one get rich but the mindset of getting rich quick is impossible and it is very risky to invest in bitcoin with this mindset because it can cause more lose.

Bitcoin comes to us to teach us managing our financial and hiding from others. Besides of getting rich, we can hiding our wealth from others and no others see how rich we are. But the government don't like this and want to control their citizens so they can monitor their citizen wealth to many reasons. So it is about privacy that we have to our financial but back again, the government will not stop checking all of their citizens. Different people have their reasons for choosing Bitcoin, Bitcoin serves different purposes, Bitcoin was created to serve as an alternative to fiat currency, and the idea behind Bitcoin as a digital asset is that it wouldn't have to be censored or control by anyone, we know how the paper called fiat is been controlled and printed by the government any how, they want it, making it inflationary that in turn reduces it purchasing power, some  people invest in Bitcoin for the profit only and nothing more, while some invest in Bitcoin to protect their wealth so that it can be valuable overtime, others invest in it as it serves as a hedge against inflation, and some see it as the best way to stay out the control of the government which you have already pointed out, but the good thing is that, there none of these reasons that is not important, what matters is individual preference in terms of what they plan to achieve on a long-term.

We are not being manipulated by being introduced to bitcoin network, it is a choice we all have to make as long as we are no longer comfortable with the way the centralized financial system operates, then we can decide it to go for a decentralized digital network with bitcoin for our security and privacy, only those that knows what they are doing will not be affected because they must have learned the required procedures so how they should engage using Bitcoin in different applicable areas of the financial economy.

My answer is both, the reason why i said the both is because bitcoin help us in those two ways, it helps us in escaping the system and also help us to get rich when we invest and trust the process, i know that it is not good to see bitcoin as something that guarantee to make someone rich, but most of us invest in bitcoin because we believe that bitcoin can change our lives the way it changes those who believe in it from the beginning. There many things that bitcoin has done, but the both questions you asked are what bitcoin does and there are other things that bitcoin have done.

Bitcoin gives us such freedom and I'm still surprised that till now we have some people who do not trust it. Is it that they prefer to be stuck in the loop or they are just scared that something might go wrong some day?

Not everyone that choose Bitcoin wants to get rich through it, some are already wealthy but tend to maintain their wealth with it since it's a good store of value. I am not sure what it is for even me but it has to be getting out of the centralized banking system. I said I don't know because I can't use bitcoin anywhere as it is for now, even the nature of Bitcoin doesn't support every transaction and if possible we can do that for sake of trying it out, but is it really convenient with the existing system? The word "investment " has a common meaning for everyone with expected profits over a period of time, and that includes bitcoin as well. Financial freedom and seeing bitcoin as a get rich quick scheme are two different scenarios, everyone has a dream to become rich one way or the other but the process is what really matters.

People who see bitcoin as a get rich quick scheme have the wrong idea about bitcoin and would never get enough profits out of that investment due to impatience and lack of understanding of the bitcoin system.

We cannot escape the system set up by the government unless we move to a place with no government at all.  From our birth till our death, our data has been compiled by the government and mostly all our financial movement is recorded and kept by the bureau that deals with finance and statistics.

Bitcoin can somehow cover our financial record if and only if our Bitcoin never touches centralized exchanges and the Bitcoin wallet we use has never touched a centralized platform that requires KYC.

So I think whether Bitcoin is our escape rope from the centralized system is dependent on how we transact with our Bitcoin. 

If one is does not care about escaping the system, Bitcoin is not all about getting rich, it is also about boundless transactions without a third party.

Some people invest in Bitcoin, simply because they just want to explore how the new financial system works. Because if getting rich with Bitcoin was the primary aim behind It's adoption, then I doubt the likes of "Laszlo Hanyecz" who traded it with pizza would have had interest in it long time ago, simply because it had no reasonable value. So apart from the goal of getting rich with Bitcoin, other goals include having full control over your funds, being able to transact across borders, because not everybody likes a scenario whereby your bank account could get restricted by bank, hence preventing you access to funds.

In as much as a whole lot of us will claim that "Bitcoin helps us escape the government", this is not exactly true. Unless you're a very successful miner, you still have to put in the work in real life to earn, you still have to spend your coins and off-ramp to fiat, you still have to live in the society. Bitcoin can make you have full custody and control of your coin, but you can't really escape; Bitcoin itself is still regulated by the government, so I don't believe the "escape" theory one bit.

I can say it provides so shield, opportunity and a little bit of hedge over the economy and government; but not to escape.

For me, Bitcoin is all about getting rich one day. If I keep investing with good strategy, I might just make it big one day—it creates that opportunity for me.

Let's be realistic, what are the chances of getting rich through BTC when you aren't an early adopter or someone who bought BTC in the few years after its inception. Right now, you can of course make good returns, but to become rich solely through BTC is no longer possible, except we're looking at holding it for the very long term, until say, it gets to 7 figures.

However, for me BTC is a revolutionary network, even though it is in a constant battle nowadays with regulation and anti-privacy enforcers. But at least BTC gives me the opportunity to hold something i control myself and also a chance to make good returns from the stash i have in my possession.

Even the early adopters didn't become rich quickly or make a lot of profit from Bitcoin so fast; they hodled their Bitcoin to get a better return. People today can still try to get good returns from Bitcoin investment if they have the patience to pursue long-term investment.

Just like every assets that we have in the market, Bitcoin is a way to make money. Take note that I say make money and not to get rich, because it's not that easy as others might have projected it. Maybe if we are one of those early birds and then we did hold our Bitcoin since the beginning then we could be wealthy by now.

But most of us here are to make profits every cycle and to maximize it. Of course, we can look at it as a way to disrupt the control of the government. But it might not the only reason though why we are here. Everyone wanted to take profit and make money, simple as that.

Yep, you explained it nicely too. All of us are here for profit, money, and rewards. If anyone is using BTC other than for profit, that must be because they want to use BTC technology. They are developers, testers, and innovators. Because there are people who are involved in testing and unintentionally become wealthy while still trying out new things and moving ahead all the time. These people never fail.

So investing alone in BTC won't make anyone wealthy, not even rich. The mindset will. Lazy people, don't move their ass, don't work, and don't even use their mind, they can't become wealthy unless they had generational money from family or got so lucky that they won some lottery.

That question and how it will be answered depends on who is answering it and their purpose of using bitcoin. Generally, bitcoin has the potential to generate profit for someone who holds it; it also has the feature of giving them total control over what they hold, but we all have our different reasons why we buy and hold bitcoin. While some of us use it for different purposes, some can tell you that the possibility of it giving them some X of the investment amount is their only reason for holding on to bitcoin.

The idea of getting rich with Bitcoin is always there but the problem now is, it's more harder to get rich with Bitcoin compared to when Bitcoin was a lot cheaper, it will also become almost impossible in the future to get rich with Bitcoin.

Once Bitcoin reached like half a million the chances of getting rich with Bitcoin will be almost impossible, you will have to make alot of money for your DCA to be reasonable.

DCA on cheap assets are more effective because it takes only small amounts of money, as they become more pricey the DCA becomes more expensive too.

I don't believe in this getting rich with crypto investments or trading thing, whether it's about Bitcoin or some other cryptocurrency. If someone actually manages to get wealthy or rich through an investment, that will be purely out of luck, because we have seen such things happening in the past where some people managed to make life-changing amounts of money from their small investments in meme coins, but as I said, they were just lucky, it's not that they researched about it, they gained a lot of knowledge, and then made that calculated investments.

I believe good money can only be made if you already have good money to begin with. We know that it's not difficult for a wealthy person to start and run a business, very big business, and that business can make them more money over time than they had initially invested in it, but we know that they could achieve that successfully because they were capable enough to do it. Similarly, in a financial market, you can only make wealth if you already have wealth, otherwise, you can only make profits, sometimes good sometimes not so.
