One of those reasons was money magically disappeared from my bank without a single trace, I complained severally to the bank personnel, and even they could not give me any reasonable explanation to how money disappeared from my account, they kept on telling me to come back after a few days until I got tired and closed that particular bank account. Stuffs like this happen, and the worst part of it is that you never know whether it was actually your fault or the negligence of the banks, you just gotta accept what they tell you or leave it be. But if such happens with your holding, you can be 100% sure it was entirely your fault because after all you’re your own bank.

It's what happens most of the time, that it's so easy for you to deposit money into the bank. But when you want to withdraw your own money, they make it much harder and you might even need days just to have the transaction confirmed.
That's one reason why keeping money in the bank can be a frustrating experience, especially when you realize that it's your own money, you should be able to withdraw it without any problems, but that doesn't apply at banks. Also the video expatiate the financial slavery of the traditional financial system in such a short video, the burdens you need to bear to get your own property and shows that it is not truly yours in the traditional financial system.

It is common practice for banks to make it difficult for customers to withdraw large sums of money, and this also happens in my country.

These banks are very happy to hold more money from many customers, but not to give it back (make it difficult). It is as if the banks desperately need other people's money for their business. What I mean here is; the profits they get from using that large amount of money for other businesses beyond just storing it. For example; they will open a savings and loan business using other people's money, which they will continue to circulate until they get significant profits.

Essentially, they make extraordinary profits, and they seem to print money from nothing. From there, we also learn an important lesson: "when you save money in a bank, your money is not completely under your control".

Are you willing ? If not, then you should just choose "Bitcoin"; which is fully under your control.

That is the business model they have, they use their depositors money in loaning it to the others that they trust and have record of paying well. I don't like the banks when it's with withdrawals, it's the same thing that everyone noticed and experienced. They're making us hard to withdraw the money that we have on them but with deposits, there's not a lot of restrictions and I guess that is for all businesses as long as money gets in to them.

Most times, what the major reasons that make some people to adopt bitcoin is the privacy, the privacy not much more, if understand that bitcoin privacy is confidential that's what triggers most of rich people to embrace bitcoin, and anything we do within us when we purchase bitcoin is personal..you can decide to keep it as many years you want, it's just your decision and your bitcoin will remain intact unless you expose your private key to people....
