The alternative coins chart is looking bullish and I can't help but remember how moving RollBit token was.

Does any gambler have any new casino tokens or coins in mind that they are presenting looking into?

Also why can't other casinos have or build their own coins as well?

Rollbit and Betfury are both casinos. I know about their token back then, and the Rollbit token seems to be more popular and used than the Betfury token, but they are not tokens I can start chasing because their purpose is only limited to the casino.

I don’t think it’s worth much to invest in them unless one is buying it because of the bonus offer holding. Aside from that, I don’t consider any casino worth buying and holding.

hmm, main reason for decline in casino token discussion is because hype is over and reality of utility and regulation is coming. When RLB first came out it was huge revolution. Token price skyrocketed due to buyback and burn mechanism. People jump into for revenue sharing. But problem with most casino token is that they are essentially in house utility token. When any casino's overall player volume stagnate or decline then it's foolish to look for opportunity to profit by simply holding token.

In addition due to strict regulation on crypto gambling and token issuance in many country, platform have reduced promoting token.

Well, somehow I missed RollBit & Shuffle tokens... both had great results at some point, but since I wasn't into them, I don't know where they are now.

WEFT is the Weiss casino token, and in my experience, they are the only casino that has held the token price through the years... It's interesting. I have SunFire casino tokens as well, but they are another story.

I noticed Rollbit token is no more or not listed on exchanges than Uniswap. So it could be because of strict regulations. I noticed the coin did not really fall from all-time high like other altcoins that will almost dropped in price and value. But if the coin is not selling on many exchanges, this is enough to discourage some people from buying it.

A lot of the popularity of these tokens came from the hype around them. When the price is rising, tokens are being bought back and burned, and holders expect to profit, it’s not hard to keep people interested.
And this is where most casino tokens run into a problem.  If a token is mainly used within one casino, its potential audience is basically limited to the users of that platform.

And regulation definitely adds another problem. The more a token starts to look like an investment product with some kind of revenue sharing, the more questions it can raise not only with gambling regulators, but also with securities regulators.

It's their choice to create their own tokens, but I assume those who still don't have them are prioritizing something else. There's only so much you can do with casino tokens and it's almost like having those tokens you need at the arcades.

I want to say neither in terms of how I feel about the casino tokens, but I guess i'd rather like them than hate because they have their additional benefits within each casino. I'd still rather play with my preferred crypto than convert to these tokens since the fees aren't always cheap.

There was a time I had BFG but it was neither here nor there and at a point it rose then started dropping. I should it because of the limited purpose which is merely because of the casino and the benefit from it attached to bonuses. Casino coins to me don't have enough coverage that will encourage an ordinary Investor without interest in gambling and casino to invest and that is why they don't generate huge volume. I would rather invest in a liberal coin than coin that has limited coverage like casino coins.

Many casinos had their own tokens/coins but I don't think any of them really took of and lasted for very long as an investment, and casinos are already a profitable business model so combining it with token can complicate and if those tokens fail that could even end their casino business. So as a casino they are more focusing on the gambling part and also now we can deposit more cryptos than ever which makes the necessity for their own token less.

I just think people moved from it and passed to the next big thing, it is similar to what happen when everyone was talking about Defi token, then they started to talk about NFTs, then people got bored about both of those and started to pay attention to AI token and decentralized AI.

Also, centralized and fully regulated casinos like Stake cannot launch their own token easily because it would be considered to be some kind of unregistered security by some regulators in EU and the USA.
Token are commonly issued by unregulated smaller casinos with laxer licensing in some cases.

Let say their hype days are gone and people are no more really that interested about them hence no one talks about them that much. Since these tokens utility are restricted to the casino  alone I won't be surprised they have to lose that attention for holding them.

Maybe the market doesn't hit that useful anymore comparing it to the cost of building a casino native token with some of the embedded risk.

Hate, no! But what I don't like about casino token is how it can make the gambler playing all along  spending much with a psychology of not spending real money, whereas those tokens were gotten through real fund.

I think casino token/coins are garbage. It's just another way they are trying to get money from their players. Every coin there is never really gains any traction and with betfury for example, at least back when i was on the site, all rewards were paid in this garbage coin. You could swap it 1:1 for usdt or usdc but if you wanted another coin you would have paid a fee on top, which is kinda ridiculous, charging for reward conversion.  

Anyway, not a fan, never will be and I don't believe any coin, unless maybe stake makes one, will be successful even for the short run.

To add to what @Swordsof said, these casino tokens were extremely volatile and the issuers didn't have control over that, people receive or bought the coins and dump them, it was not actually serving a proper utility purpose that it was created for, players also use many other available alternative method of payment while these tokens were dumped more than 80% of its all time high. Based on what I also got, the hype that once surrounded the native coins of some casinos died due to unsustainable tokenomics and regulatory issues too. There's absolutely no casino token I am looking at and I do not have interest in altcoins, investing in these coins now is a gamble too.

Let's address Rollbit token. It's doing fine, that's good. But no one should use that as a yardstick that other casinos coins or tokens will also do well.  Then if one must key into tokens or coins of casinos, just like every other coins success; they were solving a problem. I don't know what problem did RollBit solved, but for what I know, successful coins or tokens may or otherwise have solved a good problem to receive price increase. That means there is value in that token. Problem solving equals price increase. But there are some coins that made move like that based on hype. Most of them now are no where to be found. For your question, I don't hate casino coins, but I will only buy into it if it does solve a problem worth solving.

Yeah there are a few perks that come with holding it, but it is inconsequential as far as i am concerned, with the real winners being the casino themselves. I just want to be able to deposit, wager and withdraw in a casino, and i'd do that with BTC and other coins they support.

The benefits of holding casino tokens are not sustainable in the long term. The market also takes advantage of the hype generated by casino promotions, while the actual utilization of the tokens is also not real. You have probably seen a casino token that eventually switched networks or even changed casino brands. Their tokens have no market enthusiasts. If the community is not large enough, the token will soon appear dead.

In my opinion, casino tokens are intended to be used by two different kinds of people: for gamblers who are hunting for perks from the casino and for speculators who wish to profit from the price increase on the token in the long term. Since you have mentioned you are someone who just wants to deposit, wager, and withdraw if you have some win, it is natural and logical that you are not interested in casino tokens as other people would be.

You would be ok with just using bitcoin or some stable coins like Tether or USDcoin .

I think they only include it so that when gamblers withdraw their money from gambling, they withdraw it through their coins, which will also market their coins or tokens. I also think that no one would invest in it because no one needs these tokens to make a profit by investing in a casino token. There are so many great coins in crypto that can easily make a profit in some time. Although the casino has been running since forever and it runs only because of the government, otherwise everyone wants to end this evil because some people have made it their daily goal of earning. This can break people's confidence, so they should keep their coins up and down or not include it at all so that their business does not suffer. That is why I think that there are countless coins in crypto that attract them, which are included in the casino.

I used to have BFG token coming from bounty campaign, apart from BFG and Rollbit tokens, no casino has put their token, there's no use case apart from staking, and gamblers are more focused on betting than investing in these tokens. As both a gambler and investor, I prefer to invest in coins with good potential in the market.
And casinos will spend a lot on listing their coins; they prefer to use those funds for promotions and marketing, where they will benefit more.

Unlike exchange coins, casino coins are pretty useless and offer no use case, which is why they don't gain traction long-term. They are just like any of those ERC20 or Solana tokens on coinmarketcap. Some casinos would create these so they can make profits, but the fact is users only sign up in the casino to gamble and possibly win something as quickly as possible, not buying some token and keeping it long-term
