Bitcoin marketcap right now is around $1.68 trillion. That is massive, it is very huge. Bitcoin is ranked as one of the assets that has the highest marketcap in the world right now as it is in 12th position. That means anyone that is saying that bitcoin is still in its early stage is only deceiving himself or he is deceiving people.

And I think the reason why that statement is usually being said by some Bitcoiners is because they knows and they believe that Bitcoin still have a lot of higher price to reach. Meaning that if someone buys today at $85k per coin and they decided to hold it for 10 or 30 years period, the outcome is that price must have gotten far above todays price and at that time in the future, price won't come down to what it is now.

As for me who is not holding enough Bitcoin that I wished to have, I still consider myself being early, 20-30 or more years from now that's when some people will still be thinking of wanting to invest in Bitcoin, at time, they will be considered later investors by us who has bought now and still buying.

I guess that those oldies (like yourself) that has been buying Bitcoin since 2010 to 2020 will consider people that are buying now as being late to the party, and probably that's how people that are buying now will also consider people that will buy in 2050 as being late too.

After reading this, the scale of black market and digital economies and the effect Bitcoin will have on them I am pretty certain we are going to be very wealthy men -- even with a sum as small as 10 Bitcoins. It's just so hard to believe. We are only in the beginning storms with these significant rallies from 10 to 20 dollars. I will not be surprised to see prices from hundreds to thousands in the coming months.

The only real people that i can see and say that they are holding bitcoin are those on the forum because it takes someone that is an active user of bitcoin to be on the forum and to remain an active members of the forum even when they have a completely whole life outside whatever is happening on the forum. at least we have those that have been holding for four, five to even ten years and are still bullish about bitcoin till tomorrow.

It is not until an investor discloses how much bitcoin e is holding that you will believe that they are not just spewing what they are not doing. As long as you are still at the accumulation phase, your pretty early in your investment journey. it is not always about being part of those that came into the system at the time bitcoin was always valueless. if you were not available at the time you were not available and that phase is long gone and gone for good. we can only make do of what we have come to witness.

The saying that bitcoin is in it's early phase is not an entire fact because with its current market capacity, there is only hope that it would do better in the future which is not 100% certain. BlackRock describes bitcoin as a "maturing asset" with a lot of potentials for the future and that is the belief that most investors have in bitcoin.

Bitcoin is not exactly in its early stage, but compared to traditional assets, it's still young at age 17, and could see a more surprising move in decades to come.

Early if you got millions considering just a few multiples will probably be worth it but if you're just a shrimp that thinking it will hit big time, probably just a wishful thinking. I think those who says it are more like altcoin maxis instead. I think it's not rocket science that people will bet on another thing that makes them good return.

Bitcoin has been around for almost 18 years now, going back to the Genesis Block on 1/3/2009. That's nearly two decade, from zero to $1.7T cap and the 12th largest asset in the world by market cap. And people still say we're early? Come on.

I think two truth can exist in this case, yes we are not in the earliest days of bitcoin because 17 years is not really too small but do we know the number of years that bitcoin can still exist on from today? Most probably outlive most of us or should we compare the years that gold or other physical assets have been in existence? I think if we should do that then 17 years of bitcoin been existence might look  early even from today.

Then we have the price which most people are using as yard stick, yes the volatility has reduce and will most certainly continue to reduce as such anyone looking for even a 100x in the next 17 to 20 years is definitely living a fantasy but we can still say we are early in price because we do not know the peak of bitcoin price in the future.

Most people said the price was too expensive or we are late when it reached $10k only for bitcoin to do a 12x after that which if compared to other assets for investment is a great ROI still

Bro we are not early to anything. Neither Bitcoin, nor any recently emerging trends like AI or tokenisation.

And it's gonna get only worse, any new narrative is filled with insiders long before that narrative even takes any sensible shape.

Everything is at crazy valuations, even shitcoins (that at least do something). It's not about ''making it'' anymore but rather maintaining the purchasing power of what you've already got and keeping it from being taken from you.

Yea I also kind of believe this too, to me anyone that is holding bitcoin now isn not late and should also be considered as also being early, looking at how the bitcoin is going. Bitcoin has definitely come to stay and it’s just being around for just 17 years. Sure there are the earliest people that will see the people adopting it now as late comers. But I think being early or let is relative to who is judging? For example those earliest bitcoiner will definitely consider those that never get to withness 100x as they are alt late because with all indications and reduction in it volatility we are never going to do anything close to that again.

However it’s also can’t late when we look at the price and investment aspect. We don’t know what the price will be in the next 10 to 20 years so, it can still be early if you get some bitcoin to yourself now and hold it for the future.

You just said my mind, owning Bitcoin is not a competition, and the amount people own doesn't mean that those who would or might start buying Bitcoin recently are not early, the all time high of Bitcoin is $126k if am not mistaken and the current price is around $80k price point those who started buying even at $85k are still very early.
 Even those who'll buy above the current ATH would also consider themselves early knowing that Bitcoin has the potential to go way more higher than when they started buying it.

We are not so early, neither are we late. Anybody buying now isn't buying early, we cannot compare to those who bought about 10 years ago, even if we can still make much profit from buying, holding, and selling later in the future, early buyers are at an advantage if only they held for a very long time.
