It's the same question as why we uses exchanges when they require KYC from us. So it could be for convenience that gamblers are more willing to do it. Imagine you win big money and suddenly the platform ask you for a KYC?

So obviously you don't have a choice but to comply because you want to get your reward. But there are still some casinos that will only require KYC for certain thresholds, i.e. you win that big amount so they want to verify and check everything from you, specially where you from as they will have to go to their list of countries that they restrict in some cases.

There are still gambling sites that KYC is not mandatory unless the account is suspected to be breaching one of the the terms of service of the gambling site.

But you posted that most gamblers cared about their personal information. I do not think so. Only few people like privacy. I have noticed this also on gambling sites. The crypto gambling sites that has the highest customers makes KYC mandatory.

Interest in gambling is not connected on having KYC and letting anyone ask it from you. but there are some casino who dont require KYC until you made a jackpot and will withdraw bigtime.  This is the time that a gambler will have less interest on that platform and will definitely find a new one. Noone (mostly) wants to have their KYC and be kept by any platform, sometimes you jsut dont have a choice coz you hit the Jackpot. Didn't you hear about NO KYC casinos? because majority of gamblers don't like KYC, usually goes with verified non KYC compliant casinos.

But many people now understand that KYC is part of regulation and they accept that requirements is eventually needed, if those people want to gamble on big platforms.

Because at the first place there are some casino does not have KYC just to gamble on their platform. So at the first place its the players obligation to check first if the casino is a non-kyc or kyc mandate. Now because of the frustration of their problem with their account such as other gambler have a huge balance with their wallet instead of losing a money they are willing to sacrifice their KYC or identity as an exchange to the casino to prove that they are a legit player and they did not abuse the casino itself so its just a privacy exchange to your money.

But we are in crypto space we are using anonimty so the essence of crypto will become useless so thats why we support non-kyc.

Well, that's their risk to take. We all have a choice about where and what gambling site we want to use, and whether KYC is needed, we can accept it or just look for another one without it.

Look, there are still gambling sites who doesn't require KYC, although it's risky to gamble using their service. Now, that's a problem that we are willing to take because there's a chance that it can be a scam. So, at the end of the day, it's the gambler's choice whether he will do it or not.
There are some who still accept level 1 KYC, but the withdrawals and deposits are limited. If you are not a hardcore gambler, that will be enough.

Some people will complain that the casino was masquerading as a no kyc casino or at least a non mandatory KYC casino until they need to withdraw and then there are confronting with KYC verification. Gambling as a matter of fact should have nothing to do with your personal information. people have different reason for why they are gambling that doesn't matter here i guess. i think the main reason why people fear the KYC is how institutions have been selling users data that are later used against them. if only our data cam be safely entrusted in the hand of the platform that are requesting for the KYC i am sure no body will be scared or even complain.

It is obvious you want people to get use to the idea of performing KYC in gambling sites. But you have forgotten that crypto casino are different from other localised casinos because cryptocurrency requires privacy. If not of regulatory pressures, there would have not been need to perform KYC in crypto casinos. This is the reason people sometimes prefer not to undergo KYC unless they have no alternative. But experience has shown that platforms that require KYC are less hostile to players.

I have come to understand that gamblers are more interested in non kyc gambling site than those with kyc , and the fact is that they are afraid of exposing their personal details online. The fear that some of these gamblers exercise is not bad because of the increasing rate of fraud online, however their are some reputable kyc gambling platforms that have chosen reputation instead of defrauding gamblers. I have been using kyc platforms to gamble, and I have not faced any matter of fraud in my gambling account, and that depends on the platform you are using to gamble. There are platforms with lasting track record, it is better you use them instead of looking new gambling platforms you don't truely know about. The KYC we are talking about is actually to add extra layer of security into your gambling account rather than harming you, and when KYC is enabled these gambling companies see those with KYC account as their serious customers, therefore give them better services as well.
