I posted about how to check products on the official website of NAFDAC two days ago in our local board, and I'm so happy that you, Sexylizzy2813, have created a thread about it, because some wicked Nigerians just write fake NAFDAC registration numbers on their products so as to show the final consumers there products has been verified by NAFDAC and that it's original. I know it's the duty of NAFDAC to verify products and allow only original products to be sold in Nigerians but NAFDAC can't be on all the streets of Nigeria to verify all the products made in Nigeria. But with this information on how to verify products on the official website of NAFDAC we can join NAFDAC to fight against fake products in Nigeria. All we need to do is to verify any product that we want to buy that has NAFDAC registration number, and if we verify any product and the product can't be found on NAFDAC official website, we should know that such a product is a fake product. We can stop buying such product, tell our loved ones to also stop buying such product and the reason for them to do that, and we can report the product to NAFDAC for them to swim in and apprehend the people behind in manufacturing such product.
Nigerians don't really have the patience of verifying a product before purchasing it nor using the NAFDAC number on the body of the product they buy to verify if it's fake or real and those that produce those fake items do attach a NAFDAC number on theirs too and once people see the number they assume that it's the original one without verification and that's how we keep buying fake products and endangering our kidneys and liver. NAFDAC should be very swift and observant of the products that are fake and alert the public on need not to purchase it but you know how Nigerians are greedy, once they get bribe they can equally keep shut and the people will continue to suffer, the rate at which satchet alcohol has taken over the streets is much and NAFDAC needs to prohibit those producing those products because it's causing harm to the people.

Last last na Nigerian dey kill him own brother. This is a very good awareness which I think should be shared to everyone every time so they go dey very careful. The person wey you call you friend don't give a fuck about you because na still that friend go carry expired product dey sell for you even when the person know how dangerous e fit be to person health.
That is why I hate buying all this local drugs that people use to come and sell in the bus. Those ones there is no way to even test it whether it is real or a fake thing. Person have to also shine their eyes when they go to the pharmacy because some pharmacy dey buy lots of drugs and before they go sell am finish some don expire.
Let us stop people like this and make Nigeria better. Sexylizzy2813 Is there any way to report this lots to NAFDAC?
My brother, e just dey painful say no matter how you avoid to buy from street hawkers, the shops wey you feel say suppose dey better nah dey also sell the most unverified products. You dey wonder about reporting this stuff to NAFDAC and I wan ask you; you feel say the NAFDAC no dey aware too because as corruption don full the country so, we no fit tell the difference between the good guys for that agency from the bad ones. Nah just God go save us at this rate.

Normally for dis country e go hard before person go fit see original something to Buy because most of the tins wey we Dey see here na Aba made. with the level of corruption for we country e go even shock you self to know say this same NAFDAC dem Dey collect money from dis people wey Dey produce fake tins so that dem go continue to dey do their tin without NAFDAC interference. Sometimes self, e get some products wey Dey verified by NAFDAC but you go still hear story say those products na fake.

As for food, make people dey try cook for their house dey chop because wetin people dey put inside some foods dey very dangerous and harmful to the body. As for water make people learn to dey boil water dey drink am because na e be the purest way, some of all these sachet water and even bottle water no dey purified so e better to boil the water.
NAFDAC be like say dem no really care about the rate of fake products wey dey circulate everywhere so make we on our own just find ways to dey protect ourselves because the country don cast like dis.

Imagine make citizens dey fear whenever they want to buy any products , thus because of that organisation whey no dey do their work. If to say we dey in a good working country, by now house of assembly or thr president go don sack the head of NAFDAC,because of inefficiency. Alot of people whey dey do these fake things, go dey bribe some workers for that NAFDAC so that dem fitdey allow them dey sell their products. Many things whey dey happen for this country ehn, na only God fit solve am.

The current madness of people wey say we Nigerians need to suffer and die before them go make profit and get rich faster for this country don dey get out of hand and e be like nothing the government dey do about am. I don see many videos concerning fake fake drugs, food, I mean things wey we dey make use of (English people call am consume) and e dey weak me say we no get hope for a BETTER NIGERIA. For the one I know and I don try base on the good advise wey dey fly around, na to visit this NAFDAC site e go help us a lot before we buy any product. This one na where you go enter to check NAFDAC number of products wey be original, follow instructions you go fit know wetin you dey buy after you run the NAFDAC number for the site. Oya na make we share our experiences and additional advise to help save our lives. Support PIGIN For Our Local Board...The information you share will help us to be more careful before we buy any products at the market,i use to buy products from stores without even confirming if the NAFDAC registration number is real or forged. Honestly, this is a serious concern. Nobody should have to carry their phone everywhere and scan every product before eating or drinking something. NAFDAC and other relevant agencies need to strengthen their monitoring and ensure that fake or unregistered products don’t find their way into the market. Shopping malls like Marketsquare may have stricter verification processes, but not everyone can afford to buy everything from there. The responsibility for protecting consumers should not fall entirely on the people. We need a system where people can buy everyday products with confidence, regardless of where they shop.

Are you tying to say that anyone I’m going to the shop to get my provisions that I should go along with my phone and start checking the NAFDAC registration number of all the item I’m about buying? What then is the job of the NAFDAC? What about goods that don’t have NAFDAC registration number that are still adulterated? What should we then say about it?
Those caught selling these stuff should be prosecuted publicly so others that are attempting such will use them to learn their lesson. You can’t be too careful as far as this issue is concerned because literally all the things we are consuming have been adulterated.
I was also trying to think the same thing like you have to carry your phone and be checking every single product you buy before you consume them what about the items or products from our local market like the items you just buy from those market women and those ones don't have NAFDAC registered number and just like you said one can't be too careful about this things, they should do something because people lives are at stake, anyone caught with fake either drugs or food products should be punished and the goods destroyed. I read one news from online still don't know how true that is of a young guy who is serving in Enugu that died because of the drug giving to him, some said it was fake while others said no medical facilities was given to him and I was just pondering how a young vibrant youth will just die like that, someone who has suffered and now serving only to meet his death at camp and a lot of children, women and the old are facing too many severe cases of kidney problems and cancer because of the things they eat. If the educated ones can try to be identifying NAFDAC registered products, what then happens to our aged people at home? those in the village that don't understand all these processes and for how long will that continue, you checking the products you want to purchase before consumption.

I just verified the pure water I used to buy in my neighborhood sometimes and to my greatest surprise the pure water couldn't be found on the official website of NAFDAC, that's when I knew I have been consuming water that's not treated. Kidney and liver issues are on the rise in Nigeria because of how adulterated products has become the order of the day in Nigeria. Now isn't the time to buy a product without verifying it with its NAFDAC registration number to know if the product is fake or real because buying a product just because it has NAFDAC registration number and assuming it's original could make someone to be buying a fake product without knowing and it could cause him or her to go down with chronic illness in the long run. For NAFDAC to win the fight against fake products and protect the lives of Nigerians, my advise for NAFDAC is to establish offices in all the local government in Nigeria so that it could be easy for them to fight those people behind producing fake products, and for anyone who discover any fake product to report it to them easily.
