I posted about how to check products on the official website of NAFDAC two days ago in our local board, and I'm so happy that you, Sexylizzy2813, have created a thread about it, because some wicked Nigerians just write fake NAFDAC registration numbers on their products so as to show the final consumers there products has been verified by NAFDAC and that it's original. I know it's the duty of NAFDAC to verify products and allow only original products to be sold in Nigerians but NAFDAC can't be on all the streets of Nigeria to verify all the products made in Nigeria. But with this information on how to verify products on the official website of NAFDAC we can join NAFDAC to fight against fake products in Nigeria. All we need to do is to verify any product that we want to buy that has NAFDAC registration number, and if we verify any product and the product can't be found on NAFDAC official website, we should know that such a product is a fake product. We can stop buying such product, tell our loved ones to also stop buying such product and the reason for them to do that, and we can report the product to NAFDAC for them to swim in and apprehend the people behind in manufacturing such product.
Nigerians don't really have the patience of verifying a product before purchasing it nor using the NAFDAC number on the body of the product they buy to verify if it's fake or real and those that produce those fake items do attach a NAFDAC number on theirs too and once people see the number they assume that it's the original one without verification and that's how we keep buying fake products and endangering our kidneys and liver.
NAFDAC should be very swift and observant of the products that are fake and alert the public on need not to purchase it but you know how Nigerians are greedy, once they get bribe they can equally keep shut and the people will continue to suffer, the rate at which satchet alcohol has taken over the streets is much and NAFDAC needs to prohibit those producing those products because it's causing harm to the people.
