I have an unresolved accusation against SCORAS https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5596046.msg67212772#msg67212772

While looking into it, I found information about them. The information was also shared privately by another user.

I believed that as more information can be identified online to personally identify the person, this comes under doxxing, and it should be handled responsibly.

AHOYBRAUSE is a DT1 forum member

You are on default trust list and you support doxxing and blackmail? Is this right?

Sharing open information on people is not doxxing u clown. Linkedin is an open to all people website. Maybe google the word doxxing first before writing such nonsense.

Really? What are you going to do if I have some standards about how I get my money? You have a problem with that?

Do you need to spam your signature around to make some money to pay back your $3460 loan?

LOL, the only person spamming is you. Looking at your post history is a testament of that. All you do is cry about sites not paying you what you believe is owed, the other small part is participating in giveaways. By the way, spamming is against forum rules.
Well, hopefully we will see more posts like "day 24 of not getting paid". There is a solid chance for that to happen, good for you little guy.

Edit: This kid is something else:

https://www.talkimg.com/images/2026/10/09/UlBG3c.png

One of the few people I actually had to block from messaging/harassing me. So much hate for such a small person.

By the way, that's what he wrote about the owner just 3 days ago;

The owner of the business vertically integrated his licensed casino building business into its own casino
None of them have any experience operating a crypto casino
Judging by what I can see, the owner is an asshole

Doxing (or doxxing) is the malicious act of researching, compiling, and publicly revealing an individual’s private or identifying information online without their consent, often with the intent to harass, intimidate, or cause distress.

If the information was already public, but not known within the forum, is sharing the personally identifying information in bitcointalk forum outside Investigations, allowed?

Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Funny thread.

So you think people are too stupid to simply google and find this information themselves? Also, if this other person shared this information YOU researched, why did you share it with him in the first place? Or going even further, why did you research this information if not for reasons to share it yourself later?
In other words, you basically enabled/initiated the doxxing by the user since you researched and then shared the information with him. Now you want to lecture me of all people? Bit strange don't you think?

This fraudster is the owner of Scoras

Yes. The CEO.

This is doxxing. We should give them more time.

LOL you are the one coming to this thread pretty much daily posting that you are waiting for money. Now you do a 180 and say give them more time? Something feels wrong here. Make up your mind or just be quiet until you get your money maybe?

Really? What are you going to do if I have some standards about how I get my money? You have a problem with that?

You openly support doxxing and blackmail? Your account should be taken off DT

Oh and by the way, where did I say doxxing was ok? I simply pointed out your hypocrisy whining about SCORAS day in and day out (just check his history) and suddenly bring up doxxing and they should be given more time ( some minutes later whining again that day 14 is up without a payment ).
After that you suddenly send me a braindead message.

I know it must be hard for you to read or something, yet you are not afraid to write and harass me through PM so I had to block you. Sad sad life.

Anyway, thanks for giving me a good Friday afternoon laugh.

I did not share it. I said someone else shared it with me privately.

I researched the information so that I can check whether it is a scam and if other legal options are available.

I harassed you Huh From the language it definitely looks the opposite. I am impressed by the qualify of the new DT1s. It used to be better in my days.

I am aware of your opinion. If it is not clear, I am asking someone else's opinion about what is allowed.

You privately messaged me repeatedly, that's harassing. Anyway, just stick to your clown story and keep crying about not getting paid while suddenly asking to give them more time.  Roll Eyes

I messaged you 2 times. You messaged me 2 times. Can you stop?

If you don't have any withdrawal pending with them, what is your problem?

If it is allowed I have more information about SCORAS to post. I can provide public links like Linkedin that has the information.

As far as I know, doxxing is only legal in the INVESTIGATIONS section of the forum. If you guys want to open a thread there regarding this situation you can try. I would wait until we see how this turns out though.

You messaged me twice, I REPLIED twice and then blocked you before you bother me even longer. There is a difference between cold messaging someone and replying.

So you want the ok from others to post your stuff about scoras, while coming up with a insane story about doxxing? That's even more crazy what I thought, haha. You need some help! Anyway, done here with this nonsense.

PS: Awesome "research" by the way, google "linkedin scoras casino" and the first hit is the one that was shared. That's not doxxing, that's using google for 5 seconds.

Yes, doxxing is only permitted on the investigation board.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1576015

(Assuming I correctly understand this forum's definition of doxxing) If the man in the LinkedIn is indeed connected to Scoras but doesn't list anything about Scoras in his profile info (and likewise on the Scoras and other websites), that constitutes doxxing. I'm not logged into LinkedIn, so I can't view the full profile including whether or not he has linked Scoras on his profile page.

The Scoras website does not mention his name or Linkedin profile anywhere whatsoever.

In this person's Linkedin profile page, if I click the Websites button, I can see "http://www.scoras.io" with some other websites.

The intent of sharing this information on the forum is obvious. Isn't disclosing full name, location, and other details in threads outside investigation through a link, indirectly an endorsement for doxxing? Someone who lost money can find it themselves, that is not the forum's responsibility. Discussing that here should not be allowed except in Investigations. That is my take of the rules.

Release of personal information has been tolerated only with certain criteria fulfilled and on a case by case basis.

If you try to dox the full info of a bitcoin developer out of spite here you'll probably end up being censored and maybe even banned.
If you come with receipts of a scam that is hard to sispute, like Blockchain proof, being censored is less likely.

You'll only find out by trying your luck really.
Doxing a casino doesn't sound like a case where you'll have Hugh likelihood of being censored so long as your accusation is well substantiated. For example, don't just say I'm doxing xyz because I don't like them. Prove that they scammed you!

Don't expect any admin to give you permission for that though.

Somebody else posted. It has some of the information I have. There is no personal information in it yet. I wonder how this is going to play out in a month.

If the information was already public, but not known within the forum, is sharing the personally identifying information in bitcointalk forum outside Investigations, allowed?
Use the Investigation board for that purpose and it will not be deleted.

Q: What about deleting DOXes?
A: Nope, we don't delete them either as long as they comply with the following rules:

<...>
1. Personal information must be confined to the new "investigations" board (under Scam Accusations), which is only visible to Members and above. Personal information is defined as anything which links a user's online identity (username, email, etc.) to their meatspace identity, excluding links that the person himself has posted. It is not allowed to post somebody's personal information in any other public place, including in signatures.
2. It is not allowed to post someone's dox if it is especially obvious that you're just using the dox as a weapon. For example, if there are no remotely-plausible trade complaints, then the person can't be a scammer, and their dox should not be posted.
3. As before, anything that the legacy insecure government/banking system requires to be secret is not allowed anywhere. This includes social security numbers, credit card numbers, and certain account numbers.
<...>

Why aren't they deleted? Because such doxing is just compiling information about a user already available publicly, often via search engines.

I logged in and saw that the idiot OP had sent me the following private message.

Hi, sorry to bother you, why is AHOYBRAUSE on your trust list? He is a jerk

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5596339.msg67222756#msg67222756

Why he is on my list is none of your business. When I add someone to my list is because I believe they send correct feedback and have a correct trust list. That has nothing to do with the nonsense you're spouting about doxing, interpreting that concept as stupidly as you do.

I am locking this thread.

I respectfully disagree. How is posting the full name and details, different from posting a link that contains the same information? How do we know for sure if the Linkedin profile itself is real? If a wrench attack happens to someone?

I will use the Investigations board when the time comes.
