Maybe the United States which I am not that sure about but adding Bitcoin education to students curriculum would be a good idea for early understanding on what people should know about Bitcoin and the blockchain. The adoption of cryptocurrency is growing gradually and that will be impressive if their are children that are being taught about Bitcoin and how they can utilize the knowledge they are getting to become a better investor as they grow older.
The US hasn't included crypto in its K-12 curriculum. For now, only around 28% of universities offer blockchain courses. Afaik El Salvador is the only country so far that's brought Bitcoin and financial literacy into the curriculum for kids aged 7 to 13. I've got no issue with teaching blockchain in schools, but crypto? Hmm. It's just a speculative market. Is that really necessary? https://cointelegraph.com/news/students-crypto-classes-learn-social-media-okxCrypto is something everyone need to understand because we are gradually moving to the era of digital money.
The world's heading into a digital era, not just a digital money era. So we'd be way better off teaching the core tech and the fundamentals than zooming in on one specific use case like crypto.

Why crypto currency should be made part of our educational curriculum, the next phase of Crypto Adoption and the younger generation of Crypto Adopters.
I don't want crypto to be put into the school curriculum. It will be misleading to think the government is trying to help. However, what I think students need is more financial knowledge because education should focus only on helping a child build a career, but it should also be able to teach them ways to earn and how to manage what they earn.

The very most important part of crypto is by educating students on how to question what they see, gather enough information before they but their money into it. Someone can know how to use a wallet and still for for a fake investment platforms that looks promising to guarantee a possible return. Schools should teach this along with the risks that is involved, also including the fact that not every crypto project is legitimate and that transactions may be irreversible. The aim should not only be to have more crypto investors but to have people that can differentiate between genuine innovation from financial manipulation.

Which cryptocurrencies are you referring to? Aside from Bitcoin, almost all cryptocurrencies should be approached with caution; those lacking financial or investment knowledge should avoid investing in them. In general, however, I agree that it is necessary to include this topic as part of the school curriculum.
You are right, Bitcoin is the most reliable coin when talking about cryptocurrency, all the other coin could just pump and dump unexpectedly. Any one choosing other cryptocurrencies aside Bitcoin should be experience enough and try investing with little percent of their income so they can't lose everything in a second.

With the way everything is heading it would be smart to educate the younger generation on best practices in crypto. But they probably won’t just like they sdon’t actually teach you prepare you for the real world they just want you to go get a job like everyone else. It would be nice if they actually gave you some useful skills ands taught kids the ins and outs of crypto
Dunno any government or education system that only wants to train people to be employees instead of starting businesses or becoming entrepreneurs. I am sure of one thing, billionaires and the rich from every part of the globe are products of that same system. Oh please. Just because schools don't teach the stuff you think is useful doesn't mean the education system is just trying to churn out employees. And education isn't there to teach you everything or guarantee you a future. What's the real upside of introducing crypto to the schools? Why teach kid about speculation when financial literacy and critical thinking are far more useful in the real world?

Firstly, how on earth is it possible for something not approved fully by the government be introduced as a subject for students. Until the government approves it before they can even think of considering to introduce it as a subject for children in school. Teaching it in school even if not deeply will create awareness for the children.
Yeah cryptocurrency or Blockchain technology sound a bit too off for me too. Cryptocurrency is very wide and it also involves certain financial topics like investing, managing finances and understanding how to properly allocate your finances to avoid mismanagement so crypto or Blockchain technology narrows it down to just teaching only cryptocurrency and Blockchain technology.
I don't think we want that kind of approval before education can be passed to students. School is a place to learn, there are ways some things that are not course or subject approved and yet discourse in school everyday, that's the kind of education I want. Let's read mathematics questions and see Bitcoin use as calculation. Bitcoin as in BTC if a symbol right? Let's start from there and see if Bitcoin will not expand but I guess the government are scared of Bitcoin contiguous to people, they want to limit people. It's normal for government to be watchful but we both know there is nothing harmful about Bitcoin. They don't want to accept the fact that Bitcoin is necessary. It's even worrying that they are not concerned that 13 years old kind launched a meme coin to rugged people, that's not the kind of exposure kids need. I'm sure he was curious why people are doing it and he gave it a short. Maybe if they have teaches about this, it won't happen in the first place.

It an ideal thing to do, but do they teach you how to earn money in school? So you're talking about financial education here and this world are ruled by governments and people that hide secrets from people. You think your government doesn't know that financial education is necessary? Your government knows, but most government won't do the right thing because those things gives them power control you because when people are rich it will be difficult to control them, therefore give you knowledge that will give you access to wealth will not be encouraged. A lot of things aren't thought in school that would have been so much beneficial to people.

Crypto and the blockchain technology is an advancement in finance technology. Even though the government is going to argue that cryptocurrencies are not recognised by their government or that cryptocurrencies are tools used by criminals, they should not have any reason not to introduce blockchain technology, cryptography and other related technological skills to these children.
As a subject to be introduced into educational curricullum, I prefer it is called financial education or something with a broader meaning that covers cryptocurrency, blockchain technology and other related skills and it be updated from time to time, than just called crypto or blockchain technology. I feel that there is a need to know more than just investing in cryptocurrency, people also need to learn how to manage the money when it comes as a profit from the investments made, and also the other opportunities. Even if the school curriculum want to adopt blockchain and not Bitcoin, this will still witnessed alot of debate around which espect of the economy does this fit into, and talking about education at which level will the introduction of this cryptography be introduce. Is going to take sometimes before we see such happening around this industry since cryptocurrency and blockchain technology seems to be a contradicting government own views of technology or financial tools.

In summary cryptocurrency should be taught in school, well we have several subjects where the topic bitcoin information can fall in but in different aspect like a business idea or investment for example business studies, computer science more like the technical aspect. Will this be possible? I doubt, if this idea is really recognized then many countries would have started earlier, this is not about bitcoin being better or helpful but the leaders in charge don’t like the idea of financial freedom. The idea is really a good idea because at a very young age kids will be privileged to learn financial education and a trusted investment like bitcoin.

I think Bitcoin and stablecoins should be put into the educational curriculum. I would stop there though, I see little point in pushing shitcoins on kids.
Bitcoin and how to on & off ramp using stablecoims is enough in my opinion.

You have a point especially now that the educational curriculum used in the school are somehow outdated and we are the era where crypto, and aI is changing the way we see things from before. I agree that basic crypto education should be added to schools curriculum, but it should focus on fundamental aspects, not promoting investment. I believe teaching how Bitcoin works, what a private key is, how blockchain verification happens, and how to recognize common scams would be far more useful than just showing price charts.
You said it well. But how the perspective of the current state matters in the end since the final decision is on them. I just hope they are seeing things the way we did, so that crypto education will be finally adapted in schools curriculum. This is one way where the mentors could learn as well by teaching their students, both are actually learning in the process. Stick with the basics, and let the students broaden their knowledge if they want to through crypto articles available online. You’re right, the final decision sits with how the governments and education boards digest nd understnd the benefit of adding Bitcoin to the eduational curriculum, not with us. No matter how many of us see the value, the implementation of it still depends on whether they view crypto as something worth teaching or just another speculative risk. Yes, teachers would learn alongside the students.

Cryptocurrency in general, since it's definitely the thing these days there should atleast be a topic about it where people have atleast the general idea, but lets say you are on financial curriculums then it should be necesarry be on it, but usually it seems like this was different thing to the government because they probably just wanted people to becoming a worker, that is just how I see the system of doing schooling, high school and graduating to college it just wired to become a worker or a corporate slave something like that, teaching this financial literacy doesn't really exist on the curriculum they don't want us to have that knowledge at all.
It's easy to say these things and assume it that schools are the ones that need to be changed, and I think everyone is going to agree with that, but if the government is not doing anything at all, then this is just going to be frustrating and useless. I already said it to the most topic related to this, that adding a financial literacy topic is going to help a lot to anyone, but it just doesn't exist it is just something that you need to discover or learn manually rather than learning something that you might not use in real life.

Crypto education is still considered as part of digital financial literacy so it should be introduced in the school curriculum so that students learning are not just limited into traditional financial education but they will also acquire digital financial education since everything today goes digital. And this will only be possible if the government will also take part of it. I'd say its not an option, but its the responsibility of the government to extend help especially when it concern education for the young generation.

Digital finance is a huge field, and crypto is just a small corner of it. So if you think digital finance knowledge matter that much, why not focus on basic financial knowledge and digital finance first? Like you said , everything is going digital these days. But do you understand what digital finance is built on? It still relies on basic financial principles along with technology. So government should focus on the basics, not on something not every student needs to learn.

Why teach kid about speculation when financial literacy and critical thinking are far more useful in the real world? I have always said the same thing; it's not about the "what" they teach, but more about "how" they teach it that makes it more about raising little workers. You may disagree with this, but every single morning you wake up, wash your face, brush your teeth, eat something, get dressed, then go to school; they are all wearing the same clothing (at least that was the case when I was studying decades ago). And then you work like a worker, stay put, listen; you get small breaks, and then in the end it's all over. They also give you homework, so you do that at home. This is the typical life of a working man, literally how it looks. So it's not what they teach: not science, not mathematics, not history, not economics or even bitcoin. It's about the way schools are designed.

If something were to be done here in Brazil, I believe it should be a bit more general, involving investments in stocks, fixed income, and cryptocurrencies. The population here lacks financial education, and I don't see any movement from the government in that direction. What we have are private projects and some partnerships that don't have widespread publicity.

Why it's a good point to include crypto currency education mostly the important ones like Bitcoin and stablecoins into schools curriculum, it's also not left alone to the educational system to accomplish this. So many movies these kids spend their home hours viewing should also include it, social media platforms should have crypto currency influence written all over it and in this way, with even parents and guardians showing that it is a good digital financial experience to learn, these kids won't only need the educational curriculum to teach them what they are already exposed to, but it would direct them on how the system works, how to use it to their advantage and how to invest in it to get the best benefits in the future.

Yeah, agreed. If we are gonna bring financial literacy and investing into school, stock and bond should be part of it too, not just crypto. Crypto is not the only game in town for making money, it does not suit everybody either. A number of countries, including the UK , the US, South Korea and Japan, already cover financial literacy in their school curricula . That's a more sensible approach than focusing only on crypto, since everyone has a different risk appetite. https://www.empower.com/the-currency/money/high-school-finance-newshttps://www.mortgagesolutions.co.uk/mortgage-news/2013/09/13/money-to-be-taught-in-english-schools-with-lessons-on-state-spending/
